Victorious for the Lord’s work
“This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Be strong and finish the task!
Look, your king is coming to you.
He is righteous and victorious,9:9b Hebrew and is being vindicated.
yet he is humble, riding on a donkey—
riding on a donkey’s colt.
Lord God,
I admit, I am weak and not focused on your plan. Lord God, give me strength and focus to diligently do your work in this place. Inspire me and protect me from weakness. May I follow you and be victorious yet humble.

Surrender the fight
“This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: If you follow my ways and carefully serve me, then you will be given authority over my Temple and its courtyards.
All this will happen if you carefully obey what the Lord your God says.
Lord God,
May I surrender to your will and follow your way above my own, May I serve you above my own desires, may I surrender my desires so you may fill me with your desires. I am a arrogant fallen child who seeks your way, my way only leads to struggles and hardships. Give me power over my way so you may have your way.

Then the local residents tried to discourage and frighten the people of Judah to keep them from their work. 5They bribed agents to work against them and to frustrate their plans.
‘We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and we are rebuilding the Temple that was built here many years ago by a great king of Israel.
“Moreover, I hereby decree that you are to help these elders of the Jews as they rebuild this Temple of God. You must pay the full construction costs, without delay, from my taxes collected in the province west of the Euphrates River so that the work will not be interrupted.
Lord God,
Protect me from the distractions and attacks of this world, place a path before me to lead me to your purpose. Protect me from compromise I desire so I may reveal your truth to my desires. May I rebuild my life to become the temple you designed.

And the man said to me, “Daniel, you are very precious to God, so listen carefully to what I have to say to you. Stand up, for I have been sent to you.”
Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven.
“Don’t be afraid,” he said, “for you are very precious to God. Peace! Be encouraged! Be strong!”
And some of the wise will fall victim to persecution. In this way, they will be refined and cleansed and made pure until the time of the end,
Lord God,
I know I am precious to you, why do I doubt your desire and pursue my own. Lord God, soften my heart so I may do your will and not justify the compromise in my walk. Help me to see your victory over this world and not fall victim to my weakness.

May I listen and hear your specific details you have laid out for me. Give me discernment and focus to follow your path for me and not my compromised desires.

I am doing it to protect my holy name,
And when I reveal my holiness through you before their very eyes, says the Sovereign Lord, then the nations will know that I am the Lord
And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart.
Lord God,
Use me to protect your name among your people. Make me stubborn in your ways. Give me a new heart, a heart that is sensitive to you only. Rebuild me in your image as I release my control to you.
I as a sheep should not act as a shepherd of my life and allow God to protect me.
I announce that some wicked people are sure to die and you fail to tell them to change their ways, then they will die in their sins, and I will hold you responsible for their deaths. 9But if you warn them to repent and they don’t repent, they will die in their sins, but you will have saved yourself.
Murderers! Idolaters! Adulterers! Should the land belong to you?’
You drink the milk, wear the wool, and butcher the best animals, but you let your flocks starve.

Lord God, my Father,
You created me and gave me freedom to follow any path I may choose and in my youthful way I chose to ignore the path you created me for. Lord God, forgive me of my sinful way and deliver me from my past so I may live with you in the present. Hive me the desire to care for all you have blessed me with, to protect your glory from neglect on my part. I surrender my will, replace it with yours so I may care for the family and land you blessed me with. May I be the husband, father and caregiver that sines your will. May I take comfort in the fact that you are my shepherd, my protector.

by your love of splendor.
Lord God,
Protect me from the temptations of this world so nothing can separate me from you glory and your plan for me.

your voice will suddenly return so you can talk to him, and you will be a symbol for these people. Then they will know that I am the Lord.”
Lord God,
May my eyes be open to your truth again this day, protect me from the temptations in my path. Allow me to be a symbol to the world of your power and truth in charge of my life this day.
