‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s. 

Have faith in the Lord your God and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful.”

“Give thanks to the Lord, for his love endures forever.”

Lord God my Father,

You are creator and in control of all things. Show me how to trust you in all situations and carry your Peace that shows your way. Your way is perfect and peaceful and you bring order to all things.

But Jehoshaphat asked, “Is there no longer a prophet of the Lord here whom we can inquire of?”

7The king of Israel answered Jehoshaphat, “There is still one prophet through whom we can inquire of the Lord, but I hate him because he never prophesies anything good about me, but always bad. He is Micaiah son of Imlah.”

But someone drew his bow at random and hit the king of Israel between the breastplate and the scale armor.

Lord God my Father,

Quiet my heart so I may hear your desire. Give me obedience to follow you alone and protect me from distractions.

 ‘Do you see this vast army? I will give it into your hand today, and then you will know that I am the Lord.’ ”

Then two scoundrels came and sat opposite him and brought charges against Naboth before the people, saying, “Naboth has cursed both God and the king.” So they took him outside the city and stoned him to death. 

Lord God my Father,

You are all knowing and your plan is Holy. Show me how to know you and to follow you as no other. Protect me from deceit and ground me in your Truth.

She went away and did as Elijah had told her. So there was food every day for Elijah and for the woman and her family.

Then the woman said to Elijah, “Now I know that you are a man of God and that the word of the Lord from your mouth is the truth.”

Answer me, Lord, answer me, so these people will know that you, Lord, are God, and that you are turning their hearts back again.”

The power of the Lord came on Elijah and, tucking his cloak into his belt, he ran ahead of Ahab all the way to Jezreel.

Lord God my Father,

You are provider and protector, help me to find obedience to cause me to follow you and you alone. Bless my thoughts and actions so they may only serve you. Open the eyes of the lost and cause their ears to hear. Give me courage and confidence to speak your word and encourage. Allow your power to drive me as you desire.

The Lord is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you. 

For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.

In the thirty-ninth year of his reign Asa was afflicted with a disease in his feet. Though his disease was severe, even in his illness he did not seek help from the Lord, but only from the physicians. 

Lord God my Father,

You are my God and provider, direct my thoughts to seek you in all things. You know all I think and do, build in me a commitment to follow you fully at all times. Show me how to surrender all my battles to your care.

When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow. 5It is better not to make a vow than to make one and not fulfill it. 

Much dreaming and many words are meaningless. Therefore fear God.

This is what I have observed to be good: that it is appropriate for a person to eat, to drink and to find satisfaction in their toilsome labor under the sun during the few days of life God has given them—for this is their lot.

Lord God my Father,

Your way leads me to your Peace, help me to be obedient to you and live as you designed. Keep me from distraction but keep my focus on the progress you desire from me. Help me to be restored with my spirit, body and mind so I am in unity with you.

King Solomon, however, loved many foreign women besides Pharaoh’s daughter—Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians and Hittites. 2They were from nations about which the Lord had told the Israelites, “You must not intermarry with them, because they will surely turn your hearts after their gods.” Nevertheless, Solomon held fast to them in love. 3He had seven hundred wives of royal birth and three hundred concubines, and his wives led him astray.

Lord God my Father,

Your path leads to Peace and order, keep me from wondering off in my desires and experiencing stress, fear and anxiety. Show me how to trust in your way so my way can fall away. I want to experience life as you designed it so I can simply delight in you daily.

So I commend the enjoyment of life, because there is nothing better for a person under the sun than to eat and drink and be glad. Then joy will accompany them in their toil all the days of the life God has given them under the sun.

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might,

calmness can lay great offenses to rest.

So then, banish anxiety from your heart and cast off the troubles of your body, for youth and vigor are meaningless.

Lord God my Father,

You are Peace and order, help me to trust in your plan and follow you with a delightful heart. Help me to allow you to guide my hand in all it does and be calm in all situations. Help me to accept your Peace and not grow stressed in any issue before me.

In Jesus name I pray,

When a country is rebellious, it has many rulers, but a ruler with discernment and knowledge maintains order.

When the wicked rise to power, people go into hiding; but when the wicked perish, the righteous thrive.

Lord God my Father,

You are all knowing and all perfect. Following you brings order. Fill our leaders with your heart and open the eyes of the deceived so this nation can be restored to it’s awesome purpose.

In Jesus name I pray,

Like a muddied spring or a polluted well are the righteous who give way to the wicked.

Answer a fool according to his folly, or he will be wise in his own eyes.

Lord God my Father,

You are Truth and order, help me to discern you in all encounters to bring you the glory. Show me when to place boundaries in discussions and be honest in my words.
