No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it.

For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

“You are going to rest with your ancestors, and these people will soon prostitute themselves to the foreign gods of the land they are entering. They will forsake me and break the covenant I made with them. 17And in that day I will become angry with them and forsake them; I will hide my face from them, and they will be destroyed.

In days to come, disaster will fall on you because you will do evil in the sight of the Lord and arouse his anger by what your hands have made.”

Lord God my Father,

You are the designer and all powerful. Your way is within me. Help me to not turn from your design but to live it with all my heart. You are my strength and destroy the enemy before me. Give me confidence to trust my every step is for your plan and keep me from looking away from you and focusing on the enemy, you will never leave me alone. Lock my heart with your Peace and Love so I may delight in you in all situations, for they expose your greatness.

The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.

Lord God my Father,

You are my strength and protector. Show me how to believe in your place in my life completely, without doubt, so your strength overwhelms any enemy attacking me in my thoughts or before me.

Do not bring sin upon the land the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance.

If someone is caught kidnapping a fellow Israelite and treating or selling them as a slave, the kidnapper must die. You must purge the evil from among you.

Then we cried out to the Lord, the God of our ancestors, and the Lord heard our voice and saw our misery, toil and oppression. 8So the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, with great terror and with signs and wonders. 

Lord God my Father,

You are creator and designer, your way is holy. Keep me from turning to my way that is not in your desire. Protect me from the deceiver so I may be close to you. Keep the evil desires of my sin nature far away and deliver me from my bondage of selfish desires into your Peace which is greater than I can understand.

 You must purge the evil from among you. All Israel will hear of it and be afraid.

A woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women’s clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this.

Lord God my Father,

Look at me and show me where I do not honor you with my thoughts and actions. Help me to know when I am not living in your design so I may purge evil from my nature.

Do not sacrifice to the Lord your God an ox or a sheep that has any defect or flaw in it, for that would be detestable to him.

The judges must make a thorough investigation, and if the witness proves to be a liar, giving false testimony against a fellow Israelite, 19then do to the false witness as that witness intended to do to the other party. You must purge the evil from among you. 20The rest of the people will hear of this and be afraid, and never again will such an evil thing be done among you. 21Show no pity: life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.

Lord God my Father,

You are creator of all and worthy of my best. Protect me from my own selfish ways and show me how to honor you properly. Scan my heart and show me where I am out of your design and restore me to who you created me to be.

If you carefully observe all these commands I am giving you to follow—to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him and to hold fast to him— 23then the Lord will drive out all these nations before you,

It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him.

because you obey the Lord your God by keeping all his commands that I am giving you today and doing what is right in his eyes.

Lord God my Father,

You are all mighty and powerful and your way leads to abundance. Help me to follow you without distraction in my thoughts. Keep me focused only on your desire, not mine. I want to follow you only and live in your blessing. Change my heart where my desire is not with yours.

Observe the commands of the Lord your God, walking in obedience to him and revering him. 7For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land—a land with brooks, streams, and deep springs gushing out into the valleys and hills;

Then the Lord told me, “Go down from here at once, because your people whom you brought out of Egypt have become corrupt. They have turned away quickly from what I commanded them and have made an idol for themselves.”

Then once again I fell prostrate before the Lord for forty days and forty nights; I ate no bread and drank no water, because of all the sin you had committed, doing what was evil in the Lord’s sight and so arousing his anger.

 But again the Lord listened to me. 20And the Lord was angry enough with Aaron to destroy him, but at that time I prayed for Aaron too.

 But you rebelled against the command of the Lord your God. You did not trust him or obey him. 24You have been rebellious against the Lord ever since I have known you.

Lord God my Father,

Your way is life, help me to turn from my sinful way so I may live with your abundance. Keep me from building idols in my life that keeps me from you and restore me, make me holy. Show me my darkness so I can surrender it to you. Help me to be like Moses and pursue you completely. Help me to see.

“You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 9You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 10but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 

Lord God my Father,

You are Lore over all creation, you are the designer, creator and sustainer. Help me to surrender my will so you can have complete access to my thoughts and actions. Restore me to who you created me to be and keep me from fighting the change. I wish to experience your plan and freedom so your Peace can rest on me as you made it to. The only good in me is you so have your way and destroy all the strongholds I carry that are not pleasing to you.

Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you.

Be careful not to forget the covenant of the Lord your God that he made with you; do not make for yourselves an idol in the form of anything the Lord your God has forbidden. 24For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

he brought you out of Egypt by his Presence and his great strength, 38to drive out before you nations greater and stronger than you and to bring you into their land to give it to you for your inheritance, as it is today.

Lord God my Father,

You are creator of all and your design is peaceful. Help me to follow you as you are and not as I would want to. Make my desire align with yours. Keep me from my sinful desires so I may experience your abundance in my life. Your strength is all I need to be restored.

But you were unwilling to go up; you rebelled against the command of the Lord your God. 27You grumbled in your tents and said, “The Lord hates us; so he brought us out of Egypt to deliver us into the hands of the Amorites to destroy us. 

The Lord your God, who is going before you, will fight for you, as he did for you in Egypt, before your very eyes, 31and in the wilderness. There you saw how the Lord your God carried you, as a father carries his son, all the way you went until you reached this place.”

32In spite of this, you did not trust in the Lord your God, 

He will see it, and I will give him and his descendants the land he set his feet on, because he followed the Lord wholeheartedly.”

So I told you, but you would not listen. You rebelled against the Lord’s command and in your arrogance you marched up into the hill country. 

Lord God my Father,

Your path is perfect and set in Truth. Help me to follow you and trust in your strength, not mine or any other. You go before me, keep my thoughts at Peace so I may follow without distraction. Thank you for my faith, may I trust you completely. Show me how to listen only to you.
