I will establish his kingdom forever if he is unswerving in carrying out my commands and laws, as is being done at this time.’

And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands every desire and every thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever.

“All this,” David said, “I have in writing as a result of the Lord’s hand on me, and he enabled me to understand all the details of the plan.”

And now I have seen with joy how willingly your people who are here have given to you. 18Lord, the God of our fathers Abraham, Isaac and Israel, keep these desires and thoughts in the hearts of your people forever, and keep their hearts loyal to you.

Lord God my Father,

Your way is Truth and Peace, my way is complete confusion. Help me to keep your way first in my thoughts and protect me from distraction of my understanding. I wish to follow your way so I may experience your Peace and order. I wish to give you my whole heart and mind, understanding I can’t do this, but make me able to allow this to rest on me. Give me a joyful heart that restores your desire on me.

Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous.

Lord God my Father,

Your way is life, I choose your way, help me stay on your path without distraction.

Help me, Lord my God; save me according to your unfailing love. 27Let them know that it is your hand, that you, Lord, have done it. 28While they curse, may you bless; may those who attack me be put to shame, but may your servant rejoice.

Lord God my Father,

Your love is my strength, may it pass through me as it should and be a blessing for all. Protect me from the darkness that is ever looming.

But King David replied to Araunah, “No, I insist on paying the full price. I will not take for the Lord what is yours, or sacrifice a burnt offering that costs me nothing.”

“My son Solomon is young and inexperienced, and the house to be built for the Lord should be of great magnificence and fame and splendor in the sight of all the nations. 

“Now, my son, the Lord be with you, and may you have success and build the house of the Lord your God, as he said you would. 

“Is not the Lord your God with you? And has he not granted you rest on every side? For he has given the inhabitants of the land into my hands, and the land is subject to the Lord and to his people. 19Now devote your heart and soul to seeking the Lord your God. 

Lord God my Father,

You way leads to absolute Peace, help me to not struggle to understand your way but to allow your way to rest on me. Help me to build your temple within me so you are all that is seen. Show me where the strongholds are and give me direction and strength to overcome my way so you can restore me to your way. Your rest is my strength.

Today, if only you would hear his voice, 8“Do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah,

So I declared on oath in my anger, ‘They shall never enter my rest.’ ”

Rejoice in the Lord, you who are righteous, and praise his holy name.

Lord God my Father,

You are the Truth and complete Peace. Help me to filter out the lies of my thoughts so I may only ponder your desires. Help me to purge my desire to direct your ways so you may direct me in all my ways. Your Love and Grace are so much more abundant than I can even imagine, much less understand. I want to accept you without my desire to understand filtering you.

Lead me, Lord, in your righteousness because of my enemies— make your way straight before me.

Because of my integrity you uphold me and set me in your presence forever.

Lord God my Father,

Your way is perfect and absolutely peaceful. Keep me from distractions that take me from your path.

“The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; 3my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,

Lord God my Father,

You are designer and creator, your way is perfect, without flaw. Help me to find your favor in my life and give me strength to follow your way above the desires of my sinful heart. Make me pure and focused so your will be done in all my actions.

I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart.”

But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you;

But as for me, I am poor and needy; may the Lord think of me.

Lord God my Father,

Your way leads me to your Peace that restores my soul. Protect my focus so it stays on you and keep me from my selfish preference. Nothing I want is better than you, your delight is greater than any prize I could find on my own. I am poor and needy, show me how to accept your Peace your way. Give me unconditional Trust.

If he is cursing because the Lord said to him, ‘Curse David,’ who can ask, ‘Why do you do this?’ ”

Lord God my Father,

Your way is perfect and grand, it is so fare from my ability to understand. Help me to be obedient to your desire and not struggle to understand when you use others. Bring your Peace close so I am confident you are in charge.

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.

You, Lord, will keep the needy safe and will protect us forever from the wicked,

But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. 6I will sing the Lord’s praise, for he has been good to me.

But as for me, I trust in you.

Lord God my Father,

Your way is perfect, peaceful and full of purpose. You make me worthy. Your protection allows peace to rest on me, make my thoughts still so I may simply follow your design. Your safety is my strength, the struggles only bring me wisdom and strength. I rejoice with you in all things because I know your heart.
