Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”

“You of little faith,”he said, “why did you doubt?”

They were completely amazed, 52for they had not understood about the loaves; their hearts were hardened.

 He welcomed them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who needed healing.

 But Jesus rebuked the impure spirit, healed the boy and gave him back to his father. 43And they were all amazed at the greatness of God.

 “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.”

Lord God my Father,

You are creator and sustainer, nothing is beyond you. Open my eyes so I may know you and remove my doubt and limitations. Give me a faith that allows me to walk on water without fear and doubt, fill me with your confidence. Remove the evil that lingers in me and purify me from who I am so I can surrender to you completely.

If the home is deserving, let your peace rest on it; if it is not, let your peace return to you.

“I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.

Lord God my Father,

Your blessing brings delight to those who seek you. Lord God, I want to know you so I may delight in this day. Help me to keep your armor tight and may it protect me from the darkness I walk through, help me to shine your light so darkness has to flee. May your Peace overwhelm my desire to think so you can have your way this day.

“The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables12so that,

“ ‘they may be ever seeing but never perceiving,

and ever hearing but never understanding;

otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!’

 “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?”

“Quiet! Be still!”

“Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”

“If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.”

“Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.”

Lord God my Father,

You are the answer to all things. Lord God, open my heart so I may truly feel your spirit inside me, give me focus, free from distraction so your way is made clear. I wish to “know” you and trust you without question. Let me experience the Peace that comes from becoming quiet and still with you. I know you, help me to know you.

“Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.”

“My mother and brothers are those who hear God’s word and put it into practice.”

“Where is your faith?”

 “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.”

 “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.”

Lord God my Father,

You are creator and designer of all things. Help me to understand as I spend time with you so I may follow your design well. Give me a faith that has no doubt or fear and heal my mind. Help me to trust my faith.

In Jesus name I pray,

If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

“Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”

Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eyes are healthy, your whole body also is full of light. But when they are unhealthy, your body also is full of darkness.

When Jesus went outside, the Pharisees and the teachers of the law began to oppose him fiercely and to besiege him with questions, 54waiting to catch him in something he might say.

Lord God my Father,

You know my heart and the darkness I fall to. Open my eyes so I may see and give me the faith to trust you in all areas. My faith is strong but my trust in it is weak, help me to stop attempting to manage you and give you full access to me. Fill me with your light so the darkness has to flee.

In Jesus name I pray,

 “According to your faith let it be done to you”

Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.”

Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

Lord God my Father,

You are Lord over all things and your design is in all things. Give me a faith that is not distracted or distorted by the world but keep me close so I may truly know you. Give me a faith that saves me.

In Jesus name I pray,

And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black.37All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.

 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

Lord God my Father,

You are in control of all things, help me to quiet my thoughts so I may hear yours. You are within me, show me how to be in constant awareness of you over the noise of the world. Deliver me from my evil desires so I may walk in Peace with you in all situations. Use me to lead others through the narrow gate that leads to your Peace.

But the Pharisees went out and plotted how they might kill Jesus.

 “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand.26If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand?

“Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.

Lord God my Father,

You are all things good and evil can only despise you. Reveal the Truth of the world so evil is exposed and remove the scales on our eyes. Restore your kingdom here and purify us from our sinful desires. Show your goodness which is abundant in us and protect us from persecution unless it reveals your glory and progresses your kingdom.

In Jesus name I pray,

You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me,40yet you refuse to come to me to have life.

If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me.47But since you do not believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?”

Lord God my Father,

Your design leads to a delightful day. Help me to follow your way and allow me to know you so your way is my nature. Keep me from thinking my way out of your desire, give me Peace.

The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.

Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.”And his servant was healed at that moment.

Immediately Jesus knew in his spirit that this was what they were thinking in their hearts, 

Lord God my Father,

You are maker of all things and lord over it all. Your will is done, help me to release my desire so yours may live in me. Give me a faith without doubt so I may have courage to represent you well. Grow my spirit so it may be seen.
