Because you believed, it has happened.
Lord God,
I believe but I struggle to believe. Bring peace to my spirit that I truly believe you are in control.

In his unity and peace
“Look at my Servant, whom I have chosen.
He is my Beloved, who pleases me.
I will put my Spirit upon him,
and he will proclaim justice to the nations.
19He will not fight or shout
or raise his voice in public.
20He will not crush the weakest reed
or put out a flickering candle.
Finally he will cause justice to be victorious.
21And his name will be the hope
of all the world.”
He looked around at them angrily and was deeply saddened by their hard hearts.
“A kingdom divided by civil war will collapse.
But anyone who hears and doesn’t obey is like a person who builds a house right on the ground, without a foundation.
Lord God,
Remove my hardened heart and place me in your peace and control. Unite my spirit with my body and may I obey you in all things.

Who’s will shall I follow today
Therefore, my judgment is just, because I carry out the will of the one who sent me, not my own will.
Lord God,
May I only carry out your will this day.

May there be only one God in my life
‘You must worship the Lord your God
and serve only him.’
Lord God,
Reveal and give me the power to remove all the false gods from my life, I want to only worship you.

Obedient not resistant
“The Sabbath was made to meet the needs of people, and not people to meet the requirements of the Sabbath. 28So the Son of Man is Lord, even over the Sabbath!”
Why do I resist doing things the Lord’s way, it is for my own good.
Lord God,
May I become obedient to your desire over my own desire to control you.

To surrender my control
“Dear woman, that’s not our problem,” Jesus replied. “My time has not yet come.”
5But his mother told the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
Your miraculous signs are evidence that God is with you.”
“My nourishment comes from doing the will of God, who sent me, and from finishing his work.
Lord God,
I am broken and weak, I take my eyes off of you when this world stresses me, Lord God, restore my faith to trust you in all things and to do your will. Your signs are everywhere yet I am distracted with my doubts. May I do your will in all things and surrender to your control above my own.

Glory then Peace
“Glory to God in highest heaven,
and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.”
Lord God,
It is to you we need to give glory, not ourselves. May I worship you this day and be your Glory to this place.

Truth, a struggle to follow
You led our ancestors by a pillar of cloud during the day and a pillar of fire at night so that they could find their way.
“But our ancestors were proud and stubborn, and they paid no attention to your commands. 17They refused to obey and did not remember the miracles you had done for them.
Yet whenever your people turned and cried to you again for help, you listened once more from heaven. In your wonderful mercy, you rescued them many times!
Lord God,
I wish to allow you to lead me only I don’t know how to submit to your leadership. Lord God, forgive my arrogance and may I humble myself in your presence to follow you only. Forgive my sin and the sin of this world and lead us to your glory. Lord God, turn my heart to only you.

United under you, starting with me.
I replied, “There is no truth in any part of your story. You are making up the whole thing.”
9They were just trying to intimidate us, imagining that they could discourage us and stop the work. So I continued the work with even greater determination.
the wall was finished—just fifty-two days after we had begun. 16When our enemies and the surrounding nations heard about it, they were frightened and humiliated. They realized this work had been done with the help of our God.
Lord God,
I pray for your truth to once again be embraced and this nation to become united under your authority. Start with me, remove my sinful nature and allow you peace to rest on me. Use me to reach the lost in my realm of influence.

Purified by His Grace
for the gracious hand of his God was on him. 10This was because Ezra had determined to study and obey the Law of the Lord and to teach those decrees and regulations to the people of Israel.
And there by the Ahava Canal, I gave orders for all of us to fast and humble ourselves before our God.
So we fasted and earnestly prayed that our God would take care of us, and he heard our prayer.
Lord God,
You are so gracious and your mercy is without conditions on my part. Lord God, may I follow your desires without compromise and bring you glory thru my actions and thoughts. I am regretful of my past sin and current struggles with you and pray for a release from my burden inflicted by my poor decisions. Purify me in your grace and may I only burn for your desires.
