“God alone understands the way to wisdom;he knows where it can be found,

‘The fear of the Lord is true wisdom;to forsake evil is real understanding.’” Job 28-28

Lord God my Father,

May I be ever in your thoughts, may I seek your answer in all things. The wisdom I have came from you and there is so much more for me to seek.

Lord God my Father,

You know me, you know where I haven’t given you total control in my life. Today, Place my doubt in your care and allow me a glimpse of your power. I live broken hearted in my weakness, disappointing myself, family and you. May I have a day of victory, amazing victory. To you be the glory.

Even if I have sinned,that is my concern, not yours. Job 19-4

Lord God my Father,

Purify my heart and put me in my place. Judgement is in your hands, help me to focus on my own sin and not try to fix others.

You would call and I would answer,and you would yearn for me, your handiwork. For then you would guard my steps,instead of watching for my sins. Job 14-15

Lord God my Father,

Bring clarity to my thoughts and direction to my walk. May I focus on your path especially when it doesn’t make sense to me.

You gave me life and showed me your unfailing love.My life was preserved by your care.

People who are at ease mock those in trouble.They give a push to people who are stumbling.

If only you could be silent!That’s the wisest thing you could do.

Lord God my Father,

You are the creator of all, I am yours to do with as you please. Protect my heart so I may rely on you for all, Help me be silent during trials so I may hear your lesson.

If only there were a mediator between us,someone who could bring us together. Job 9-33

Lord God my Father,

You are gracious beyond understanding. You gave me Jesus to make me clean enough to have a relationship with you. How heartbreaking it must have been for Job. Thank you for your grace.

In all of this, Job did not sin by blaming God. Job 1-22

He fears God and stays away from evil. And he has maintained his integrity, even though you urged me to harm him without cause.” Job 2-3

 Should we accept only good things from the hand of God and never anything bad? Job 2-10

Surely resentment destroys the fool,and jealousy kills the simple. Job 5-2

Lord God my Father,

Direct me to deal with the world your way not mine. Remove the power of temptation to influence me to my desire. I am sinful on my own. I accept the test but need your power to choose properly. Allow the past to stay there and not here.

I will never again curse the ground because of the human race, even though everything they think or imagine is bent toward evil from childhood.

Lord God my Father,

I am tired of my thoughts and actions, I am bent towards sin on my own, I wish to only carry your thoughts and actions. Grow your desire in me so strong that my sinful desire is lost.

In Jesus name I pray,

You will be accepted if you do what is right. But if you refuse to do what is right, then watch out! Sin is crouching at the door, eager to control you. But you must subdue it and be its master.”

Lord God my Father,

I want to only do what is right, I am tired of my way which is filled with sinful thoughts and actions. Allow me to rule over my will and replace it with yours.

Now the man and his wife were both naked, but they felt no shame.

The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the Lord God had made

“You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman. 

And the LordGod made clothing from animal skins for Adam and his wife.

Lord God my Father,

I am a sinner and feel shame from my poor decisions. I ask for your forgiveness and you freely gave it not protect from the desire Satan has to keep me bound in shame. Protect me from the tempter and deliver me to your peace.
