God blesses those whose hearts are pure,for they will see God.

But I say, if you are even angry with someone, you are subject to judgment! If you call someone an idiot you are in danger of being brought before the court.

But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 

Lord God my Father,

Keep me on your path so I may see you more, protect me from my worldly ways, keep my focus on you and turn me from lustful desires of this world.

“Any kingdom divided by civil war is doomed. A town or family splintered by feuding will fall apart.

The people of Nineveh will stand up against this generation on judgment day and condemn it, for they repented of their sins at the preaching of Jonah.

Anyone who does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother!”

Lord God my Father,

Bring unity in my life, expose the false items I desire that distracts me from your truth. I repent from my sinful nature and desire to walk on the path you place before me. I wish to only do your will but struggle to release mine.

Yet if others come in their own name, you gladly welcome them. 44No wonder you can’t believe! For you gladly honor each other, but you don’t care about the honor that comes from the one who alone is God.

 “Watch your back, man! You’ve got a vicious enemy: the devil. Don’t underestimate this guy. 

Lord God my Father,

You are my God and provider, your way is simple in this overly confused world. Protect me from attack of darkness and keep me in you light so I can see you and follow you.

Then Jesus said to the Roman officer, “Go back home. Because you believed, it has happened.”

 Then he got up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly there was a great calm.

Then the entire town came out to meet Jesus, but they begged him to go away and leave them alone.

Lord God my Father,

Give me a faith that is solid and I have complete trust in, With you all things are possible even the one’s I have doubt with. Remove my doubt and come into my life, remove my sinful ways of thinking.

No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone.

You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him.

The Scriptures also say, ‘You must not test the Lord your God.

Lord God my Father,

Be with me and protect me from my wondering way, Keep temptation where it belongs and give me your discernment to avoid falling.

I Jesus name I pray,

“Get up! Flee to Egypt with the child and his mother,” the angel said.

This fulfilled what the Lord had spoken through the prophet: “I called my Son out of Egypt.”

The prophet Isaiah was speaking about John when he said,“He is a voice shouting in the wilderness,‘Prepare the way for the Lord’s coming!

“What sort of new teaching is this?” they asked excitedly. “It has such authority! Even evil spirits obey his orders!” 

and the Holy Spirit, in bodily form, descended on him like a dove.

Lord God my Father,

Give me warning of danger I face and protect me, give me courage to do what you ask of me. Make me bold in my faith so I may present you well.

In Jesus name I pray,

Mary responded, “I am the Lord’s servant. May everything you have said about me come true.”

You are blessed because you believed that the Lord would do what he said.”

Now we will be saved from our enemiesand from all who hate us.

When Joseph woke up, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded and took Mary as his wife.

and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.”

He is a light to reveal God to the nations,

Lord God my Father,

I am your servant, help me with my stubborn heart. I am blessed but struggle to move forward. Save me from the influence of the great deceiver and give me your heart so I may please you in all areas of my life.

Instead, they hired Balaam to curse them, though our God turned the curse into a blessing. 

4And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.

Lord God my Father,

Take the ways of this world and turn them upside down, release your peace and glory so we may transform our lives under your authority.

“We promise together not to neglect the Temple of our God.”

Lord God my Father,

I really need your strength and protection in the area of temple maintenance. Give me your protection over my poor habits and help me move forward in this area.

In Jesus name I pray,

I replied, “There is no truth in any part of your story. You are making up the whole thing.”They were just trying to intimidate us, imagining that they could discourage us and stop the work. So I continued the work with even greater determination.

So my God gave me the idea to 

Lord God my Father,

May your truth rest well on me and protect me from the lies of Satan that float around in this world. Bring me a peace that only comes from surrendering to your desire for me and keep me on track to your destiny. Inspire me and give me your ideas to pursue.
