Moldable

The Lord asked Moses, “How long will these people refuse to obey my commands and instructions? 29They must realize that the Sabbath is the Lord’s gift to you.

Israel argued with Moses and tested the Lord by saying, “Is the Lord here with us or not?”

Lord God my Father,

Soften my hard heart, mold me into what you created me to be, a servant for you. Remove my resistance to your desire for me.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

Grand life His way

I have planned this in order to display my glory through Pharaoh and his whole army. After this the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord!”

“Why did you bring us out here to die in the wilderness? Weren’t there enough graves for us in Egypt?

The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”

“With your unfailing love you leadthe people you have redeemed. In your might, you guide themto your sacred home.

Lord God my Father,

May I be patient and wait for your plan and not pursue my own before I wait for you. May I have faith that brings peace in understanding you are in control. Give me discernment to follow you.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

Heard heart for the Lord not me.

I have made him and his officials stubborn10:1 Hebrew have made his heart and his officials’ hearts heavy. so I can display my miraculous signs among them. 2I’ve also done it so you can tell your children and grandchildren about how I made a mockery of the Egyptians and about the signs I displayed among them—and so you will know that I am the Lord.”

Moses and Aaron performed these miracles in Pharaoh’s presence, but the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he wouldn’t let the Israelites leave the country.

The Lord caused the Egyptians to look favorably on the Israelites, and they gave the Israelites whatever they asked for.

Lord God my Father,

I have been stubborn for my way since the beginning, I beg you to soften my heart to be obedient to your will. Help me to release your Glory to those around me and soften the hearts of your people.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

Heart hard for the Lord

But I will make Pharaoh’s heart stubborn so I can multiply my miraculous signs and wonders in the land of Egypt.

But the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart,

But I have spared you for a purpose—to show you my power

“This time I have sinned,” he confessed. “The Lord is the righteous one, and my people and I are wrong.

But when Pharaoh saw that the rain, hail, and thunder had stopped, he and his officials sinned again, and Pharaoh again became stubborn.

Lord God my Father,

Soften my heart so I may follow all your desires for me, I have made promises to you and then broken them over and over. I wish to be made stubborn on you and turn from my own way. Replace my desire with your perfect one.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

Happy servant, why so hard?

But Moses protested again, “What if they won’t believe me or listen to me? What if they say, ‘The Lord never appeared to you’?”

But Moses pleaded with the Lord, “O Lord, I’m not very good with words. I never have been, and I’m not now, even though you have spoken to me. I get tongue-tied, and my words get tangled.”

Now go! I will be with you as you speak, and I will instruct you in what to say.”

Then the Lord became angry with Moses. “All right,” he said. “What about your brother,

But Moses argued with the Lord, saying, “I can’t do it! I’m such a clumsy speaker! Why should Pharaoh listen to me?”

Lord God my Father,

Why do I doubt you, why do I struggle for control of my own life, why do I question your truth. May I submit all my life to your control and remove my filter from your desire for me.

I Jesus name I pray,

Amen

His Courage, no fear

Later, when the boy was older, his mother brought him back to Pharaoh’s daughter, who adopted him as her own son. The princess named him Moses,2:10 Moses sounds like a Hebrew term that means “to lift out.” for she explained, “I lifted him out of the water.”

“Here I am!” Moses replied.

You must lead my people Israel out of Egypt.”11But Moses protested to God, “Who am I to appear before Pharaoh? Who am I to lead the people of Israel out of Egypt?”12God answered, “I will be with you.

“But I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go unless a mighty hand forces him.

Lord God my Father,

Give me a faith free from fear, open my spirit to accept you completely. Allow me to hear you when you call and simply say “Here I am!” Help me to follow your desire for me completely trusting you with fearless obedience. Destroy my rebellion so I may embrace your plan, surrendered to your desire.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

What was bad, transformed to Glory.

the God who has been my shepherdall my life, to this very day,16the Angel who has redeemed me from all harm—may he bless these boys.May they preserve my name

But Joseph replied, “Don’t be afraid of me. Am I God, that I can punish you? 20You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good.

Lord God my father,

May I trust in you for all things, Lord help me release my will and live by your desire, make that my legacy. Lord take all my sin and transform it to your glory.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

I give up!

But Jacob insisted, “No, if I have found favor with you, please accept this gift from me. And what a relief to see your friendly smile. It is like seeing the face of God! 11Please take this gift I have brought you, for God has been very gracious to me. I have more than enough.” And because Jacob insisted, Esau finally accepted the gift.

Lord God my Father,

You are ever gracious and forgiving. Your Love inspires me to complete surrender, to live under your authority. I give you my life, take my desires and make them yours, I wish to only have your desire in me.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

Completely His servant

But if I must lose my children, so be it.”

Then Joseph hurried from the room because he was overcome with emotion for his brother. He went into his private room, where he broke down and wept.

“Please, come closer,” he said to them. So they came closer. And he said again, “I am Joseph, your brother, whom you sold into slavery in Egypt. 5But don’t be upset, and don’t be angry with yourselves for selling me to this place. It was God who sent me here ahead of you to preserve your lives.

So it was God who sent me here, not you! And he is the one who made me an adviser45:8 Hebrew a father. to Pharaoh—the manager of his entire palace and the governor of all Egypt.

Lord God my Father,

May I place my life in your hands and allow you free rein of my thoughts and actions. May I only be a blessing to you and trust your plan for me completely.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

He is with me but how much do I block

The Lord was with Joseph, so he succeeded in everything he did as he served in the home of his Egyptian master.

1But the Lord was with Joseph in the prison and showed him his faithful love.

Pharaoh’s chief cup-bearer, however, forgot all about Joseph, never giving him another thought.

Lord God my Father,

I ask you to create an overwhelming desire to be obedient to you, be with me and use me for your glory in all areas. Help me to remove the false idols in my life that weaken me.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen
