I wish to have your truth in charge of all of me, Be in charge of my spirit, my attitude and my actions. Open my ears to only hear your direction.

Although the pagan shrines were not removed, Asa’s heart remained completely faithful to the Lord throughout his life.
The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.

Give me a heart that follows you only so the shrines I carry that are not of you can be destroyed. Strengthen my heart so I may only worship you.

He had warned Solomon specifically about worshiping other gods, but Solomon did not listen to the Lord’s command.
Every word of God proves true.He is a shield to all who come to him for protection.6Do not add to his words,or he may rebuke you and expose you as a liar.
Lord God my Father,
Open my heart to hear your instruction and follow your way wholeheartedly. Give me discernment to know your desire and follow your truth above the lies of this world.

Mockers can get a whole town agitated,but the wise will calm anger.

Everything has already been decided. It was known long ago what each person would be. So there’s no use arguing with God about your destiny.
Lord God my Father,
Direct me to your peace, display my poor thoughts and beliefs and take them from me, allow me to carry your peace only. Bring direction, the direction you designed for me to the surface so I may do your will in all things.

To one who listens, valid criticismis like a gold earring or other gold jewelry.
If the godly give in to the wicked,it’s like polluting a fountain or muddying a spring.
Don’t answer the foolish arguments of fools,or you will become as foolish as they are.
There is more hope for foolsthan for people who think they are wise.
A quarrelsome person starts fightsas easily as hot embers light charcoal or fire lights wood.
Lord God my Father,
Open my heart and allow me to hear you, give me the wisdom I need to grow past my own ways and live wholeheartedly for you. May my hope come from you and not argue with your desire.

You are amazing beyond my ability to understand, Help me to not try to understand you but to simply follow you. I can never do anything to honor you properly but give me the desire to give you my all. Give me the ability to spread your glory to this dark world without sinking in it.
