By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life.

Above all, you must realize that no prophecy in Scripture ever came from the prophet’s own understanding,1:20 Or is a matter of one’s own interpretation. 21or from human initiative. No, those prophets were moved by the Holy Spirit, and they spoke from God.

Lord God,
I am grateful for your creation and all things you have made known to me. Your way is glorious and your promise is Life in all it’s abundance. I pray to live by your understanding and take this world as it is, praying to reveal your truth to all thru my faith in your plan. Thank you for loving me enough to make a way for me to live with you for eternity. This day I am in awe of your Love made whole by the birth of your son.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead, pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts.

Lord God,
May I have your spirit fill me and give me the truthful spirit that will release your power in me. Power to resist the ways of my youth and deliver me to a place of your pure desires.

It was by faith that Moses left the land of Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger. He kept right on going because he kept his eyes on the one who is invisible.

Pray for us, for our conscience is clear and we want to live honorably in everything we do.

Lord God,
It is by faith I find you, grant me a desire to have unshakable faith so you may reveal yourself to me. May I live to honor you in all I do.

They did not remain faithful to my covenant,
so I turned my back on them, says the Lord.

And my righteous ones will live by faith.10:38 Or my righteous ones will live by their faithfulness; Greek reads my righteous one will live by faith.
But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.”10:37-38 Hab 2:3-4.
39But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. We are the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved.

Lord God,
Why is it so hard to remain completely faithful, Why am i too weak to resist all the temptations of this world. Lord again I plea with you to protect me from my weakness and make clear your power to deliver me to a relationship with you that will purify my thoughts and actions. Allow me to confess my past to your care so it may be removed from me and forgotten. May I live in the present completely trusting in your care and be a beacon of your hope to those around me.
It is for your Glory I seek to live.

So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.

Even though Jesus was God’s Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered.

Lord God,
Thank you for being who you are. Your wisdom is perfect as is you design. Lord allow my heart to be open to your ways and protect me from my selfish desires. May I be obedient to you this day in all things.

And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself.

Carefully determine what pleases the Lord. 11Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them.

Lord God,
Make me full and complete by Christ. May I represent your Church properly and show only your Glory to those around me. May I be patient and accept your people as they are. May I encourage with your Spirit free to use me as you see fit. May I only please you.

We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. 10Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit.

But I didn’t want to do anything without your consent. I wanted you to help because you were willing, not because you were forced.

Lord God,
Give me your will. allow me to understand, may I struggle only for your desire, not my own. I surrender to your way and put to death my past. May I accept your people as they are and not as I would have them and give me the power of forgiveness to completely remove my past so I may live with you in this moment.

I am sending you to the Gentiles 18to open their eyes, so they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God.

‘Go and say to this people:
When you hear what I say,
you will not understand.
When you see what I do,
you will not comprehend.
27For the hearts of these people are hardened,
and their ears cannot hear,
and they have closed their eyes—
so their eyes cannot see,
and their ears cannot hear,
and their hearts cannot understand,
and they cannot turn to me
and let me heal them.’

Lord God my Father,
Allow me to have open eyes to see and hear you, allow me to serve you without hesitation. Completely open my eyes to take in your wonder and give me boldness to take your truth to those around me. Use me for your will and remove my sinful way so I can freely live in your desire above my own.

there are many whose conduct shows they are really enemies of the cross of Christ. 19They are headed for destruction. Their god is their appetite, they brag about shameful things, and they think only about this life here on earth.

If people are causing divisions among you, give a first and second warning. After that, have nothing more to do with them. 11For people like that have turned away from the truth, and their own sins condemn them.

Lord God, align my spirit and thoughts with yours so my actions will only bring glory to you. Keep me from the path of destruction, may I only desire you. May I stay in a constant state of prayer and when worldly distractions strike me, protect me and keep me in your truth. Keep my thoughts pure and true, keep me on your path but when I stray, give me power over temptation so I may return to your path.

Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. 6So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.

you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do.

Lord God,
I need your deliverance from my ways, I pray Lord that I may live to please you and you alone. My way is full of darkness and I need your protection to keep me in the light and out of the darkness. Thank you for designing me to never have more temptation than I can overcome, With your grace. May I only do what your nature ask in me.
