“I came naked from my mother’s womb, and I will be naked when I leave. The Lord gave me what I had, and the Lord has taken it away. Praise the name of the Lord!”

Satan answered the Lord, “I have been patrolling the earth, watching everything that’s going on.”

 “You talk like a foolish woman. Should we accept only good things from the hand of God and never anything bad?” So in all this, Job said nothing wrong.

No one said a word to Job, for they saw that his suffering was too great for words.

Lord God my Father,

Everything good comes from you, I have nothing you didn’t give me. Allow your Peace to be my guide and your truth to protect me. Keep Satan at bay and allow me to live your will. Keep foolishness from resting in my thoughts.

Now God saw that the earth had become corrupt and was filled with violence. 12God observed all this corruption in the world, for everyone on earth was corrupt.

Lord God my Father,

I look forward to life eternal with you, Protect my heart and keep me in your blessing. Keep me from wanting to change the darkness around me and use me as the light so darkness has no place to rest. Allow your grace to rest well in my thoughts and actions. I just want to praise you.

“Yes, O Lord God, the Almighty, your judgments are true and just.”

They are demonic spirits who work miracles and go out to all the rulers of the world to gather them for battle against the Lord on that great judgment day of God the Almighty.

How great is our Lord! His power is absolute! His understanding is beyond comprehension!

Lord God my Father,

You are True and just, darkness hates you and has no power. Help me to live under your authority and give me awareness over the deceiver. Use me for your will.

This great dragon—the ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world—was thrown down to the earth with all his angels.

Therefore, rejoice, O heavens! And you who live in the heavens, rejoice! But terror will come on the earth and the sea, for the devil has come down to you in great anger, knowing that he has little time.”

 Then the statue of the beast commanded that anyone refusing to worship it must die.

Let all that I am praise the Lord. 2I will praise the Lord as long as I live.

The Lord frees the prisoners. 8The Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are weighed down. The Lord loves the godly.

Lord God my Father,

Give me a spirit that only hears your Truth, protect me from the deceiver. May Praise and Joy be the power that leads me and protects me from fear, keep me in a constant state of praise. Free me from allowing any thoughts of doubt from entering me.

It is time to destroy all who have caused destruction on the earth.”

I will meditate on your majestic, glorious splendor and your wonderful miracles.

All of your works will thank you, Lord, and your faithful followers will praise you.

The Lord protects all those who love him, but he destroys the wicked.

Lord God my Father,

Help me to reveal your peace to those around me, guide me as I meditate on your splendor. Protect me from evil distractions.

Then I began to weep bitterly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll and read it.

“Blessing and honor and glory and power belong to the one sitting on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever.”

The godly will crowd around me, for you are good to me.”

But the people who did not die in these plagues still refused to repent of their evil deeds and turn to God. They continued to worship demons and idols made of gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood—idols that can neither see nor hear nor walk! 21And they did not repent of their murders or their witchcraft or their sexual immorality or their thefts.

Their mouths are full of lies; they swear to tell the truth, but they lie instead.

Yes, joyful are those who live like this! Joyful indeed are those whose God is the Lord.

Lord God my Father,

Bring the worthy to power, groom me to make me worthy, only you are truly worthy. Be good to me and cause me to do good. Help me to see my sin so I can allow you to take it and build in me your Truth. Allow the Joy you bring to me to flourish.

“Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.

Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne.

Lord God my Father,

Bring stillness to my spirit so I may hear you. Give me strength and courage to overcome my selfish way and serve you as you desire.
