The Lord Almighty is mustering an army for war.

I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins.

“Surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will happen.

Lord God my Father,

Your plan is permanent and your army powerful. Help me to allow you to do the battles in my life and trust you completely. Your will is perfect, and it will be done. What you plan will happen. Help me to trust in you completely in all struggles.

In Jesus name I pray,

All this took place because the Israelites had sinned against the Lord their God, who had brought them up out of Egypt f

They did wicked things that aroused the Lord’s anger.

Rather, worship the Lord your God; it is he who will deliver you from the hand of all your enemies.”

Lord God my Father,

Bring your Peace to my heart and help me be still in your presence. Turn me from my wicked ways and teach me to truly worship you as you desire me to.

If a liar and deceiver comes and says, ‘I will prophesy for you plenty of wine and beer,’ that would be just the prophet for this people!

Her leaders judge for a bribe, her priests teach for a price, and her prophets tell fortunes for money. Yet they look for the Lord’s support and say, “Is not the Lord among us? No disaster will come upon us.” 12Therefore because of you, Zion will be plowed like a field, Jerusalem will become a heap of rubble, the temple hill a mound overgrown with thickets.

All the nations may walk in the name of their gods, but we will walk in the name of the Lord our God for ever and ever.

You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy. 19You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.

Lord God my Father,

Give me discernment over the deceivers, keep me focused on you. Protect me from the unjust and keep my path straight. Help me to draw others to you.

Jotham grew powerful because he walked steadfastly before the Lord his God.

Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense

Lord God my Father,

Give me the focus I need to keep my eyes on you in all situations. You are my strength, protect me from distraction.

People will stagger from sea to sea and wander from north to east, searching for the word of the Lord, but they will not find it.

Lord God my Father,

Keep me close to your plan so I don’t wonder off. Protect my thoughts from distraction so I may keep my focus on you in all things.

I brought you up out of Egypt and led you forty years in the wilderness to give you the land of the Amorites.

You were like a burning stick snatched from the fire, yet you have not returned to me,” declares the Lord.

“Seek me and live;

Lord God my Father,

Bring me close so I can only see your Truth. Protect me from the deceit all around me and make me strong in your Peace. Help me to shine your way and turn the lost back to you before it is too late.

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send e!” 9He said, “Go and tell this people:

Consult God’s instruction and the testimony of warning. If anyone does not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn.

Lord God my Father,

Give me discernment over good and evil and strength to follow you only. Let me go with you and share your hope. Help me to speak only your words.

Woe to the sinful nation, a people whose guilt is great, a brood of evildoers, children given to corruption! They have forsaken the Lord; they have spurned the Holy One of Israel and turned their backs on him.

The Lord will wash away the filth of the women of Zion; he will cleanse the bloodstains from Jerusalem by a spirit of judgment and a spirit of fire.

Lord God my Father,

Cleanse my soul and use me to spark your revival. Open our hearts to your glory and shield us from the evil one.

He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, just as his father Amaziah had done. 4The high places, however, were not removed; the people continued to offer sacrifices and burn incense there.

God during the days of Zechariah, who instructed him in the fear of God. As long as he sought the Lord, God gave him success.

But after Uzziah became powerful, his pride led to his downfall. He was unfaithful to the Lord his God, 

Lord God my Father,

Help me to do your will, protect me from wondering to my desires, replace my desires with yours. Keep me from worshiping anything other than you and give me success this day.

But Jonah ran away from the Lord and headed for Tarshish.

But you, Lord my God, brought my life up from the pit.

The Ninevites believed God. A fast was proclaimed, and all of them, from the greatest to the least, put on sackcloth.

Do not let people or animals, herds or flocks, taste anything; do not let them eat or drink. 8But let people and animals be covered with sackcloth. Let everyone call urgently on God. Let them give up their evil ways and their violence. 9Who knows? God may yet relent and with compassion turn from his fierce anger so that we will not perish.”

10When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not bring on them the destruction he had threatened.

That is what I tried to forestall by fleeing to Tarshish. I knew that you are a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and abounding in love, a God who relents from sending calamity. 3Now, Lord, take away my life, for it is better for me to die than to live.”

4But the Lord replied, “Is it right for you to be angry?”

But God said to Jonah, “Is it right for you to be angry about the plant?”

Lord God my Father,

Help me to just follow your desire in my heart and do it without resistance. Keep me from putting my attitude on your plan but just follow you as you desire.
