Now I come to your Temple with burnt offerings
to fulfill the vows I made to you—
14yes, the sacred vows that I made
when I was in deep trouble.

Let all who seek God’s help be encouraged.

When I live in a spirit of intentional living for the Lord, I am filled with Joy as I do everything both easy and hard. So why do I have to rededicate myself every morning to have that Joy.

Lord God, in my daily surrender humble my heart to understand you wish to be in total control of my spirit. Help me to seek you in my all, not just when I need your help.

You have been very hard on us,
making us drink wine that sent us reeling.
4But you have raised a banner for those who fear you—
a rallying point in the face of attack.

Oh, please help us against our enemies,
for all human help is useless.
12With God’s help we will do mighty things,
for he will trample down our foes.

They sharpen their tongues like swords
and aim their bitter words like arrows.

But God himself will shoot them with his arrows,
suddenly striking them down.
8Their own tongues will ruin them,
and all who see them will shake their heads in scorn.

I am under attack, attack from myself, evil around me and Satan directly. Only with the Lord’s power may I make a stand and move forward and win this battle.

Lord God, give me power over the areas of my life that lead to a compromise of your will for me.

Wash me clean from my guilt.
Purify me from my sin.
3For I recognize my rebellion;
it haunts me day and night.
4Against you, and you alone, have I sinned;

2Restore to me the joy of your salvation,
and make me willing to obey you.
13Then I will teach your ways to rebels,
and they will return to you.

Lord God, May I put my focus on you, may I please you. You are the absolute truth I need in me. For when I live by your laws I am free to do anything. Your Laws are simple, I make them difficult.

In Jesus name,

But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors me.
If you keep to my path,
I will reveal to you the salvation of God.”

Lord God,
I pray for removal of self and that I may follow you more directly in my days

I waited patiently for the lord to help me,
and he turned to me and heard my cry.
2He lifted me out of the pit of despair,
out of the mud and the mire.
He set my feet on solid ground
and steadied me as I walked along.
3He has given me a new song to sing,
a hymn of praise to our God.

Why am I discouraged?
Why is my heart so sad?
I will put my hope in God!
I will praise him again—
my Savior and 6my God!
Now I am deeply discouraged,
but I will remember you—

Lord God,
I am bound by my sin nature, I need your deliverance to release me to experience a glory filled life, filled with your glory. So full I can hardly stand it. Lord separate me from my bindings, release me to reveal your glory to my family and the world around me.

1Sin whispers to the wicked, deep within their hearts.
They have no fear of God at all.
2In their blind conceit,
they cannot see how wicked they really are.
3Everything they say is crooked and deceitful.
They refuse to act wisely or do good.
4They lie awake at night, hatching sinful plots.
Their actions are never good.
They make no attempt to turn from evil.

0The godly offer good counsel;
they teach right from wrong.
31They have made God’s law their own,
so they will never slip from his path.

Lord God,
I pray that I may be Godly in all I do, Make your law mine, Keep me on the path you intend for me.

Yes, what joy for those
whose record the lord has cleared of guilt,
whose lives are lived in complete honesty!

Finally, I confessed all my sins to you
and stopped trying to hide my guilt.
I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the lord.”
And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.

Let your unfailing love surround us, lord,
for our hope is in you alone.

Oh Lord,
The fact that you find me worthy to be forgiven is unbelievable, I wish to live in complete honesty. Remove the thoughts that cause me to sin and replace them with your Truth. I delight in spending my time in your unfailing Love.

But I am not like that; I live with integrity.
So redeem me and show me mercy.
12Now I stand on solid ground,
and I will publicly praise the lord.

The lord gives his people strength.
The lord blesses them with peace.

Hear me, lord, and have mercy on me.
Help me, O lord.”

I need to actually stand on the Lord, make Him my foundation. He will give me strength and peace.

Lord God, How awesome it is to be able to grow in a relationship with you that will release me from my sinful nature. Protect me, use me against myself to release me from bondage of my way so I may completely surrender to your way in me.

The unfailing love of the Most High will keep him from stumbling.
8You will capture all your enemies.

Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me
all the days of my life,
and I will live in the house of the lord
forever.

He leads the humble in doing right,
teaching them his way.

For the honor of your name, O lord,
forgive my many, many sins.

21May integrity and honesty protect me,
for I put my hope in you.

Lord God, you show us such a glory filled path is before us, expose the areas of my life I have yet to surrender to. In your son’s most holy name,

The commandments of the lord are right,
bringing joy to the heart.
The commands of the lord are clear,
giving insight for living.
9Reverence for the lord is pure,
lasting forever.

Some nations boast of their chariots and horses,
but we boast in the name of the lord our God.
8Those nations will fall down and collapse,
but we will rise up and stand firm.
9Give victory to our king, O lord!
Answer our cry for help.

Lord God, may I surrender to your will and be free of my past. May I live with your desire on my heart now and forever.
