The people refused to enter the pleasant land,
for they wouldn’t believe his promise to care for them.
25Instead, they grumbled in their tents
and refused to obey the lord.

Those who are wise will take all this to heart;
they will see in our history the faithful love of the lord.

Lord God, release me from my self imposed bondage. Help me to live in your truth, in your purpose for me. Help me to not be so arrogant in my ways and surrender to your way.

Oh, please help us against our enemies,
for all human help is useless.
13With God’s help we will do mighty things,
for he will trample down our foes.

Fear of the lord is the foundation of true wisdom.
All who obey his commandments will grow in wisdom.
Praise him forever!

Lord God my father,
I need your help so desperately, I am unable to do anything good on my own. I desperately need you to be in charge of my life. Help me to find a way to remove my desires from this body and replace it with your purpose for me. Crush me to nothingness and rebuild me in your purpose so I may be a servant to you and you may delight in me.

I believed in you, so I said,
“I am deeply troubled, lord.”
11In my anxiety I cried out to you,
“These people are all liars!”

0I have chosen to be faithful;
I have determined to live by your regulations.
31I cling to your laws.
lord, don’t let me be put to shame!
32I will pursue your commands,
for you expand my understanding.

Oh to follow the instructions of the Lord, to walk in His blessing free from the stress of compromise.

Lord God,
Help me to understand Lord, To understand your way for me so I may walk in your peace all day every day.

O lord, what a variety of things you have made!
In wisdom you have made them all.

May all my thoughts be pleasing to him,
for I rejoice in the lord.

The Lord God made it all and has a purpose and plan for all he made. May I rejoice in releasing his plan for me.

Lord God,
Thank you for your awesome plan, I have been stubborn and hard headed to do this life my way. I surrender my will to you and submit to your plan for me. May I delight in doing your will.

Teach me your ways, O lord,
that I may live according to your truth!
Grant me purity of heart,
so that I may honor you.

Satisfy us each morning with your unfailing love,
so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives.

And may the Lord our God show us his approval
and make our efforts successful.
Yes, make our efforts successful!

They are a people whose hearts turn away from me.
They refuse to do what I tell them.’
11So in my anger I took an oath:
‘They will never enter my place of rest.’”

Oh Lord, I am tired and weary of my ways. I am so tired of attempting my way. Lord God remove me and my way from this soul and reveal in me only your desire for me. Allow me to see only your desire and path before me today.

Turn us again to yourself, O lord God of Heaven’s Armies.
Make your face shine down upon us.
Only then will we be saved.

So I let them follow their own stubborn desires,
living according to their own ideas.
13Oh, that my people would listen to me!
Oh, that Israel would follow me, walking in my paths!
14How quickly I would then subdue their enemies!
How soon my hands would be upon their foes!

Don’t you hear the uproar of your enemies?
Don’t you see that your arrogant enemies are rising up?
3They devise crafty schemes against your people;
they conspire against your precious ones.

So he ended their lives in failure,
their years in terror.
34When God began killing them,
they finally sought him.
They repented and took God seriously.
35Then they remembered that God was their rock,
that God Most High was their redeemer.
36But all they gave him was lip service;
they lied to him with their tongues.
37Their hearts were not loyal to him.
They did not keep his covenant.
38Yet he was merciful and forgave their sins

How is it possible that God is so merciful.

Thank you Lord for never giving up on me. In my past life was all about me, now Lord it is all about you. Thank you for opening my eyes to your truth.

Then I realized that my heart was bitter,
and I was all torn up inside.
22I was so foolish and ignorant—
I must have seemed like a senseless animal to you.
23Yet I still belong to you;
you hold my right hand.
24You guide me with your counsel,
leading me to a glorious destiny.

Why do I focus so much on others and how the wicked are better off than me. I have the Glory of God burning in me, that is enough what else do I need.

Lord God,
Help me to focus on you with every part of my being. Allow your Glory to meet my every need. Reveal false needs I hold onto.

0Human defiance only enhances your glory,
for you use it as a weapon.

Make vows to the lord your God, and keep them.
Let everyone bring tribute to the Awesome One.
12For he breaks the pride of princes,
and the kings of the earth fear him.

Your road led through the sea,
your pathway through the mighty waters—
a pathway no one knew was there!

Lord God,
May I submit to following your path , May I submit to your authority to lead me. I have worked out how to fix my life and be worthy but It is still my way. May I defy my way and surrender my all and only follow you in ways I never imagined.

But as for me, I am poor and needy;
please hurry to my aid, O God.
You are my helper and my savior;
O lord, do not delay.

But as for me, how good it is to be near God!
I have made the Sovereign lord my shelter,
and I will tell everyone about the wonderful things you do.

Lord God, I still don’t trust you to heal me of my sin, Help me to put your thoughts before mine and surrender all of my will to your desire for me. I cannot do this life on my own, I need you to correct my path.
