Those who trust in the lord are as secure as Mount Zion;
they will not be defeated but will endure forever.

for with the lord there is unfailing love.
His redemption overflows.

Lord God,
Help me to believe your truth and remove any doubt. Help me to turn from my way to your way and remove the self inflicted struggle from my path. Lord God you forgive, help me to also. Restore me to Holy as you have created me to be. Help me find the strength of your redemption and place my whole life in your care.

O lord, hear my plea for justice.
Listen to my cry for help.
Pay attention to my prayer,
for it comes from honest lips.

Guard me as you would guard your own eyes.
Hide me in the shadow of your wings.

Lord God,
Satan attacks from all directions, protect me from his attack. Grant me power over my actions that are not of you and deliver me into your path, not my own. Make me new, take me out of the past and deliver me into this moment, pure and new. May I please you in all things. Guard me and keep my from straying.

“A lot of good it did to help this fellow. We protected his flocks in the wilderness, and nothing he owned was lost or stolen. But he has repaid me evil for good.

“Even when you are chased by those who seek to kill you, your life is safe in the care of the lord your God, secure in his treasure pouch!

Lord God,
Help me to do your good without expectations of reward here, but store up good for when I join you in heaven. Allow me to surrender my will to follow and trust in your direction for my actions.

I praise God for what he has promised.
I trust in God, so why should I be afraid?
What can mere mortals do to me?

Rescue me, O lord, from liars
and from all deceitful people.

Lord God,
Help me to live in your promise not my desire. Surround me with your truth and people who desire you. Protect me from the evil ways of this world and give me discernment over this world so I may see truth from lies and be bold with your word on my lips.

End the evil of those who are wicked,
and defend the righteous.
For you look deep within the mind and heart,
O righteous God.

I prayed to the lord, and he answered me.
He freed me from all my fears.

Lord God,
May I delight in your perfection, not looking at this world as I think it should be but seeing it as your perfect creation. allow me to see the struggles from your perspective, not as problems but as opportunities for your glory to shine. Open my heart and teach me how to follow your path wholeheartedly.

O lord God of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel,
wake up and punish those hostile nations.
Show no mercy to wicked traitors.

O my Strength, to you I sing praises,
for you, O God, are my refuge,
the God who shows me unfailing love.

Lord God,
Protect me from the unknown enemy, Allow your truth to be my purpose. Fill me with your good power, may it be my only fuel. Stand with me this day and allow me to uncover your glory that I have thrown wet towels over. May I love others as boldly as you love me.

Saul and his men spared Agag’s life and kept the best of the sheep and goats, the cattle, the fat calves, and the lambs—everything, in fact, that appealed to them. They destroyed only what was worthless or of poor quality.

And everyone assembled here will know that the lord rescues his people, but not with sword and spear. This is the lord’s battle, and he will give you to us!”

Lord God,
Protect my will from my desires and only allow your desire to flow thru me. Give me power over my actions so I may only do your will in this life and may my obedience to you be complete. Remove my rebellious spirit and make me stubborn in your ways. Allow me to see this world as you see it and may my actions make your ways obvious to this world.

So I felt compelled to offer the burnt offering myself before you came.”

“Do what you think is best,” the armor bearer replied. “I’m with you completely, whatever you decide.”

Lord God,
Remove my sinful, impatient desire from me and make your desire known to me. Allow me to have the faith of the armor bearer and completely trust in your plan for me.

And I am here to tell you that you and your family are the focus of all Israel’s hopes.”
21Saul replied, “But I’m only from the tribe of Benjamin, the smallest tribe in Israel, and my family is the least important of all the families of that tribe! Why are you talking like this to me?”

As for me, I will certainly not sin against the lord by ending my prayers for you.

Lord God,
Help me to grow in my belief of my self and the power you have put in me to serve you with courage. Give me a new heart and discernment in this world to see your will. Protect me from the idols satan puts in my path that I may look at and protect my soul. Give me a true servants heart so I may serve you completely. Give me power in my prayers to release your truth to this world so we may find your peace in our hearts.

Then Samuel said to all the people of Israel, “If you want to return to the lord with all your hearts, get rid of your foreign gods and your images of Ashtoreth. Turn your hearts to the lord and obey him alone; then he will rescue you from the Philistines.” 4

But the people refused to listen to Samuel’s warning. “Even so, we still want a king,” they said. 20“We want to be like the nations around us.

Lord God,
Help us to return to your authority, open the hearts of your people and humble the hearts of those who worship other gods. Remove the sinful nature from your people and show us the Joy we can have by living under your care.
