Lord, you are my strength and fortress,
my refuge in the day of trouble!

“‘But if you do not listen to me and refuse to keep the Sabbath holy, and if on the Sabbath day you bring loads of merchandise through the gates of Jerusalem just as on other days, then I will set fire to these gates. The fire will spread to the palaces, and no one will be able to put out the roaring flames.’”

Lord God,
You are my strength and my refuge, help me with my selfish desire to take control from you. Allow me to do amazing things in your name so the world and I will understand it is all from you. Heal me from my own way and deliver me to your path so you will get all praise. Heal me and deliver me from a lifetime of selfish desire so you will get all praise. May I surrender to trust you and take the Sabbath and surrender it to you completely. May you burn in my heart and purify my way.

O Lord my God, my Holy One, you who are eternal—
O Lord, our Rock,
The Sovereign Lord is my strength!

Oh Lord my God, my Holy One,
You are my Rock, my life is built on your foundation.
Purify my desires and remove my rebellious ways.
In me is weakness, replace it with your Holiness.
May my thoughts be yours today.

Time after time I sent you prophets, who told you, “Turn from your wicked ways, and start doing things right. Stop worshiping other gods so that you might live in peace here in the land I have given to you and your ancestors.”

He wrote everything that had been on the scroll King Jehoiakim had burned in the fire. Only this time he added much more!

My Lord, My God,
I am weak and stuck in my ways, I surrender to you and plea with you to remove my sinful nature and thoughts, I wish to be purged of all thoughts that separate me from your glorious path and tire me so. I wish to completely turn from the sinful desires in my heart and become whole in your presence. Forgive me for my past and deliver me to a glorious now with you.

“I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me?

I will cleanse them of their sins against me and forgive all their sins of rebellion. 9Then this city will bring me joy, glory, and honor before all the nations of the earth!

Lord God,
You are the creator, nothing is beyond your power, You are my God and Lord. You placed a desire to seek you that only grows stronger as I look for you. Cleanse me from my sin nature, make me pure in your eyes, make my heart pure. Give me energy to do your will only.

You will be my people,
and I will be your God.”

Lord God,
Purify my heart so I may only worship you.

I will give them hearts that recognize me as the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me wholeheartedly.

Lord God, my Father,
Give me a heart that is only longing for you, may it recognize you as the only Lord. Give me power to turn away from the gods I may worship here and give my full attention to you.

Perhaps the Lord will be gracious and do a mighty miracle as he has done in the past.

Lord God,
you are a gracious God, A loving God, deliver me from my sinful way so I may walk with you in your glory. Help me to stop looking for glory in the wrong places but to find it thru you.

He is the living God and the everlasting King!

5“If racing against mere men makes you tired,
how will you race against horses?
If you stumble and fall on open ground,
what will you do in the thickets near the Jordan?

Lord God,
You are alive and with me at all times, keep my eyes open and focused on you. The things of this world that distract me are meaningless. May I seek your wisdom in all things this day. Give me strength over the worthless struggles I fall into and keep me on the path that leads to revealing your glory in this life.

“Don’t say, ‘I’m too young,’ for you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you. 8And don’t be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and will protect you.

“My wayward children,” says the Lord,
“come back to me, and I will heal your wayward hearts.”

Lord God,
Give me your courage and deliver me from the past where I was weak. Purify my heart so I may live in this moment with you in charge where fear cannot hide in me. Remove the distractions that catch my attention and steer me off your path. Forgive and allow me to forgive my past. Make me pure in your light. I admit I am a sinner prone to things of this world, I wish to be with you now. My way is stupid, make me wise and courageous. Reveal and remove my idols so you are my only God. I wish to only honor you.

“I will search with lanterns in Jerusalem’s darkest corners
to punish those who sit complacent in their sins.

No one can tell it anything;
it refuses all correction.
It does not trust in the Lord
or draw near to its God.

Lord God my Father,
Clear my spirit of my ways, take the fearful nature and replace it with your power. Use me to do your will, make me silent so I may Hear you and follow you. Take my stubborn nature and mold me into your servant.
