If the Good News we preach is hidden behind a veil, it is hidden only from people who are perishing. 4Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe.

Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are4:16 Greek our inner being is. being renewed every day. 17For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!

Lord God,
Give me faith that removes the veil completely so I may live completely in your will. Give me strength over the struggles of this world and release the Glory of your plan in my life.

In Jesus name,

Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. 12For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world,

He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.

Lord God,
Remove my distracted way and help me become diligent in wearing your armor to protect me from the desires of this world that separate me from you. Join me in this fight to live only in your will. May my actions witness to this world your awesome power and hope. Stand between temptation and me and show me the path that brings freedom to my life.

Inside, the people were all shouting, some one thing and some another. Everything was in confusion. In fact, most of them didn’t even know why they were there.

But2:10 Some manuscripts read For. it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets. 11No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit. 12And we have received God’s Spirit (not the world’s spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us.

Lord God,
Bring clarity to my thoughts, remove the ways of this world I struggle with and deliver me to a peace in surrendering to you. May I hear your thuth and protect me from the lies of the world. Reveal yourself to me and allow me to live in your truth. Motivate me to be obedient to you.

So we have been greatly encouraged in the midst of our troubles and suffering, dear brothers and sisters,3:7 Greek brothers. because you have remained strong in your faith. 8It gives us new life to know that you are standing firm in the Lord.

May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ.

Lord God,
Allow me to see from your perspective how the struggles of today are for my own good. Help me to not resent but to embrace the day as it is, not as I want it. May I accept your plan as my own.

As she listened to us, the Lord opened her heart, and she accepted what Paul was saying.

If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.

Lord God,
Open my heart to hear your wisdom, Allow me to live in your pleasure separate me from the calling of this world. May I simply be your servant.

Looking straight at him, Paul realized he had faith to be healed.

Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.

Lord God,
Remove doubt from my spirit, may I only live in your truth. Give me power over the struggles of this world so my faith in you will overwhelm the struggle and reveal your truth. Remove my sinful nature and deliver me to your ways only. May I identify the law you put before me I struggle with so I may be set free from it by submitting to your truth. Give me your wisdom so I may live all of my life for you. Protect me and banish Satan from my presence, may I only serve you.

“You son of the devil, full of every sort of deceit and fraud, and enemy of all that is good! Will you never stop perverting the true ways of the Lord?

‘I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart. He will do everything I want him to do.’13:22 1 Sam 13:14.

Lord God,
Open my eyes to the true nature of Satan so I may see his deceit for what it is, Give the power to avoid the lies of this world. Allow your truth to shine so bright not darkness may live in me. May I do all things you wish me to do for your glory alone.

while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him.

Lord God,
I pray for your truth to wash over your people, may we only think of and do your will, Lord be with all in battle for your truth and grant them courage and clarity to do your will.

Then Peter replied, “I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism. 35In every nation he accepts those who fear him and do what is right.

Lord God,
Remove completely the fear I carry, give me an obedient spirit that does your will above my own. Use me to do your will and share your love to all starting with my family and friends. May strangers and family see you thru my witness.

Moses assumed his fellow Israelites would realize that God had sent him to rescue them, but they didn’t.

for I can see that you are full of bitter jealousy and are held captive by sin.”

Lord God,
Open the eyes of this world to see you, remove the arrogance and selfishness from the hearts of your people. Open my heart to hold only your spirit and use me for your work.
