But some other shepherds came and chased them away. So Moses jumped up and rescued the girls from the shepherds. Then he drew water for their flocks.

“This is amazing,” Moses said to himself. “Why isn’t that bush burning up? I must go see it.”

Lord God my Father,
Use me to do your work, Look favorably on me, guide me and may I use your strength to do your work. Motivate me beyond my sinful desires and change me into who you created me to be. Open my eyes to see your amazing opportunities before me.

In Jesus name,

When he sees how good the countryside is
and how pleasant the land,
he will bend his shoulder to the load
and submit himself to hard labor.

You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.

Lord God my Father,
You provide such awesome wonders for me to enjoy, may I honor you and serve you by using these gifts to your Glory. Give me strength to do your will and protect me from my sinful ways. May I submit to do your work no matter how hard. May I truly hear the message you place on my heart and change my way to serve you with all the strength you have given me. You intended your gifts to me to honor you and I have not followed thru with your will. Forgive me and restore me to your vision.

“It is beyond my power to do this,” Joseph replied. “But God can tell you what it means and set you at ease.”

“Relax. Don’t be afraid,” the household manager told them. “Your God, the God of your father, must have put this treasure into your sacks. I know I received your payment.”

Lord God my Father,
May I fully understand all things are beyond my power and fully rely on you for all things. May I be overwhelmed by your truth and protected from all excuses I may desire. Allow me to release my desire to understand and allow your plan to unfold. Help me to grow to an understanding that your plan is hard sometimes but for the best.

Potiphar noticed this and realized that the Lord was with Joseph, giving him success in everything he did. 4This pleased Potiphar, so he soon made Joseph his personal attendant. He put him in charge of his entire household and everything he owned.

Pharaoh’s chief cup-bearer, however, forgot all about Joseph, never giving him another thought.

Lord God my Father,
May I surrender completely to your will so I may do your work and please the world in your name, be with me and direct my way and be with me so large that I can’t stand in your way. May I never forget you are in control of all things.

I will build an altar to the God who answered my prayers when I was in distress. He has been with me wherever I have gone.”

“Here comes the dreamer!” they said. 20“Come on, let’s kill him and throw him into one of these cisterns.

Lord God my Father,
May I be more aware of your Blessings and mark your Blessings with a type of altar as to remember you are in control. Lord God, protect me from any resentment I may have when the truth is made known to me.

In Jesus name,

But Jacob said, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.”

Then Esau ran to meet him and embraced him, threw his arms around his neck, and kissed him. And they both wept.

Lord God my Father,

Develop in me the courage to be persistent with you in my prayers and actions. May I be strong in your eyes, strong enough to be used for great things on your behalf. May I be forgiving to others and my self to grow whole under your authority to do your will without compromise.

In Jesus name I pray,

But the God of my father has been with me.

but the God of your father appeared to me last night and warned me,

you would have sent me away empty-handed. But God has seen your abuse and my hard work. That is why he appeared to you last night and rebuked you!”

Lord God my Father,
Even thou you are with me, I often stumble due to my weak faith. Lord God, heal me of my own weakness and use me to perform wondrous things. Restore my land to your Glory, my family to unity. Open my heart to “hear” you and follow your direction. Remove my rebellious nature and give me the power to release my will in all areas that bring me glory from my perspective. May I surrender to your perspective and perform the task you set before me without hesitation. May I work hard for you uncovering the Glory I have covered with my poor decisions.

He took the stone he had rested his head against, and he set it upright as a memorial pillar.

Lord God my father,

May I give you glory in all things and build memorials around your blessings as to remember all you do for me.

Then Jacob gave Esau some bread and lentil stew. Esau ate the meal, then got up and left. He showed contempt for his rights as the firstborn.

They replied, “We can plainly see that the Lord is with you. So we want to enter into a sworn treaty with you. Let’s make a covenant.

Lord God my Father,
May I appreciate the Blessings you have shown me and give you proper respect and worship. Bless my actions so my family and friends will only see you thru my ways and may we delight in your ways.

And Abraham picked up the knife to kill his son as a sacrifice.

“Our sister, may you become
the mother of many millions!
May your descendants be strong
and conquer the cities of their enemies.”

Lord God my Father,
Shape in me a faith that is pure and strong. May I be obedient to your will for me. May I trust in your way completely. May I come to you first in all things I do and think and trust in your answer. May I have God sized expectations.
