At the end of that time, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven, and my sanity was restored. Then I praised the Most High; I honored and glorified him who lives forever.

His dominion is an eternal dominion;

his kingdom endures from generation to generation.

At the same time that my sanity was restored, my honor and splendor were returned to me for the glory of my kingdom. My advisers and nobles sought me out, and I was restored to my throne and became even greater than before. 37Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And those who walk in pride he is able to humble.

So the king gave the order, and they brought Daniel and threw him into the lions’ den. The king said to Daniel, “May your God, whom you serve continually, rescue you!”

“I issue a decree that in every part of my kingdom people must fear and reverence the God of Daniel.

“For he is the living God

and he endures forever;

his kingdom will not be destroyed,

his dominion will never end.

27He rescues and he saves;

he performs signs and wonders

in the heavens and on the earth.

He has rescued Daniel

from the power of the lions.”

28So Daniel prospered during the reign of Darius and the reign of Cyrus the Persian.

Lord God my Father,

Restore me to sanity in this crazy time. Give me your Peace so I may carry it well for you. Help me to reach the lost for you and bring your Peace to those around me and give me an integrity that releases your power to inspire restoration to your way. Though I am temporary, your Love endures forever. Make my legacy one that reflects your Love forever.

Now God had caused the official to show favor and compassion to Daniel, 10but the official told Daniel, “I am afraid of my lord the king, who has assigned your food and drink.

To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning. And Daniel could understand visions and dreams of all kinds.

I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors: You have given me wisdom and power,

If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. 18But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”

Then Nebuchadnezzar said, “Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent his angel and rescued his servants! They trusted in him and defied the king’s command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.

Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the province of Babylon.

Lord God my Father,

Show favor to me and allow me to thrive in doing your work. Give me the focus and desire to bring your kingdom into the daily encounters before me. Give me your heart for this place and ability to carry it well. Protect me and cause me to represent you boldly with great delight. Cause the darkness to turn to light and the future to be in your Glory.

“Even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.”

Lord God my Father,

I want to love you unconditionally, help me to fine and remove my way from how I love. Restore relationships in families and communities. restore this great nation. Your will be done.

In Jesus name I pray,

I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. 26I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 27And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.

 Once again I will yield to Israel’s plea and do this for them: I will make their people as numerous as sheep, 38as numerous as the flocks for offerings at Jerusalem during her appointed festivals. So will the ruined cities be filled with flocks of people. Then they will know that I am the Lord.”

Lord God my Father,

Cleanse me from my past and make me pure for your glory. Replace my sinful way with your perfect way and cause me to prosper. Multiply my efforts and may it all be for your honor.

 “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.” 4Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! 

So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.

9Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’ ” 

“ ‘I will make known my holy name among my people Israel. I will no longer let my holy name be profaned, and the nations will know that I the Lord am the Holy One

Lord God my Father,

Pour out your spirit over this land and bring life to the dry bones wondering. Use your people to represent you well and allow your delight to inspire darkness to flee from our presence. Bring us all together under your authority alone and cause us to seek you on your terms not our own. Thank you for your patience, love and especially Grace.

In Jesus name I pray,

“ ‘As for you, my flock, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will judge between one sheep and another, and between rams and goats. 18Is it not enough for you to feed on the good pasture? Must you also trample the rest of your pasture with your feet? 

You are my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, and I am your God, declares the Sovereign Lord.’ ”

Because you rejoiced when the inheritance of Israel became desolate, that is how I will treat you. You will be desolate, Mount Seir, you and all of Edom. Then they will know that I am the Lord.’ ”

Lord God my Father,

Shape me into your image as you desire and use me to bring your desire to those around me. Thank you for being my God and Loving me at all times and allow your Peace to overwhelm me.

When I make Egypt desolate and strip the land of everything in it, when I strike down all who live there, then they will know that I am the Lord.’

then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not heed the warning and the sword comes and takes their life, their blood will be on their own head. 5Since they heard the sound of the trumpet but did not heed the warning, their blood will be on their own head. If they had heeded the warning, they would have saved themselves.

“Yet your people say, ‘The way of the Lord is not just.’ But it is their way that is not just. 18If a righteous person turns from their righteousness and does evil, they will die for it. 19And if a wicked person turns away from their wickedness and does what is just and right, they will live by doing so. 

Lord God my Father,

You are in control of all things. I pray to know you with such devotion that I may represent you well with grace in my heart. Protect my thoughts and keep me from judgment of others when I have so much to be judged for. Thank you for your grace and patience with me, deliver me from my way and make your path clear for me to see.

In Jesus name I pray,

Then they will know that I am the Lord their God.’ ”

by the hand of foreigners I will lay waste the land and everything in it.

So I will inflict punishment on Egypt, and they will know that I am the Lord.’ ”

I will disperse the Egyptians among the nations and scatter them through the countries. Then they will know that I am the Lord.”

Lord God my Father,

You are creator and sustainer; you are life and peace. Bring me under your authority and cause me to represent you well. Bring a Peace to my thoughts so I may hear you. Restore this nation to it’s purpose and destroy our enemies.

In Jesus name I pray,

Because you have clapped your hands and stamped your feet, rejoicing with all the malice of your heart against the land of Israel, 7therefore I will stretch out my hand against you and give you as plunder to the nations. I will wipe you out from among the nations and exterminate you from the countries. I will destroy you, and you will know that I am the Lord.’ ”

The merchants among the nations scoff at you; you have come to a horrible end and will be no more.’ ”

Lord God my Father,

Soften my desires and expose my hardness against you. Bring me close, protect and guide me and use me to bring hope to my family and those I meet today.

You sat on an elegant couch, with a table spread before it on which you had placed the incense and olive oil that belonged to me.

“So I will put an end to lewdness in the land, that all women may take warning and not imitate you. 49You will suffer the penalty for your lewdness and bear the consequences of your sins of idolatry. Then you will know that I am the Sovereign Lord.”

“ ‘Now your impurity is lewdness. Because I tried to cleanse you but you would not be cleansed from your impurity, you will not be clean again until my wrath against you has subsided.

Lord God my Father,

Protect me from the deceit from evil and give me your Peace. Make me aware of the plotting of darkness so I may turn from it. Open my heart so it may be cleansed and made rite with you so I may live with you well.
