Pursue righteousness and a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness. 12Fight the good fight for the true faith. Hold tightly to the eternal life to which God has called you, which you have declared so well before many witnesses.

Everything is pure to those whose hearts are pure. But nothing is pure to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, because their minds and consciences are corrupted. 16Such people claim they know God, but they deny him by the way they live. They are detestable and disobedient, worthless for doing anything good.

Do not get involved in foolish discussions about spiritual pedigrees3:9 Or spiritual genealogies. or in quarrels and fights about obedience to Jewish laws. These things are useless and a waste of time. 10If people are causing divisions among you, give a first and second warning. After that, have nothing more to do with them. 11For people like that have turned away from the truth, and their own sins condemn them.

Lord God my Father,

You own my heart, keep me lifted out of my way and secure in your way in all I do this day. Give me your wisdom on where to engage and not. Bless your people this day.

 Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.

Yet true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth. 

Lord God my Father,

Let me be an example of your truth and keep me in your peace.

So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8Come close to God, and God will come close to you. 

Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.

The purpose of my instruction is that all believers would be filled with love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and genuine faith.

In every place of worship, I want men to pray with holy hands lifted up to God, free from anger and controversy.

Lord God my Father,

Bring your power between Satan and me, protect me from his lies. Keep me in action, doing your work, help me to live in peace not the struggle. Clean my heart so I may worship you properly.

For I have told you often before, and I say it again with tears in my eyes, that there are many whose conduct shows they are really enemies of the cross of Christ. They are headed for destruction. Their god is their appetite, they brag about shameful things, and they think only about this life here on earth. But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives.

God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. 13And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong,1:13 Or God should not be put to a test by evil people. and he never tempts anyone else. 14Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away.

You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. Human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires.

Lord God my Father,

Help me to have actions that please you, keep my thoughts under your authority, help me to live your plan alone. Give me your discipline to guide my day.

Then Peter replied, “I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism. 35In every nation he accepts those who fear him and do what is right. 36This is the message of Good News for the people of Israel—that there is peace with God through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.

Lord God my Father,

Allow your way to restore me to your design. May your peace be all I seek in this world.

11May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation—the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ1:11 Greek with the fruit of righteousness through Jesus Christ.—for this will bring much glory and praise to God.

For I know that as you pray for me and the Spirit of Jesus Christ helps me, this will lead to my deliverance.

Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. 4Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.

and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord,to the glory of God the Father.

Lord God my Father,

Fill me to overflowing with your Truth and Love, allow me to represent you well, deliver me from placing limits on your ability. Help me to represent your Glory to all this day.

Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.

You used to do these things when your life was still part of this world. 8But now is the time to get rid of anger, rage, malicious behavior, slander, and dirty language. 

And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.

Remember my chains.

Lord God my Father,

You are my life and I rest in you, protect me from my old tendencies and keep me in your will. Allow me to use your power and desire to guide me this day.

God’s purpose in all this was to use the church to display his wisdom in its rich variety to all the unseen rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. 11This was his eternal plan, which he carried out through Christ Jesus our Lord.

I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit.

May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. 15Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.

So live as people of light! 9For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true.

Lord God my Father,

Use me to build your kingdom, bring your desire to your people and give us confidence to be obedient. Protect me from the darkness.

So everyone escaped safely to shore.

When Paul saw them, he was encouraged and thanked God.

I believe that the hope of Israel—the Messiah—has already come.”

“The Holy Spirit was right when he said to your ancestors through Isaiah the prophet,26‘Go and say to this people:When you hear what I say,you will not understand.When you see what I do,you will not comprehend.27For the hearts of these people are hardened,and their ears cannot hear,and they have closed their eyes—so their eyes cannot see,and their ears cannot hear,and their hearts cannot understand,and they cannot turn to meand let me heal them.’

The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.

I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.

But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, 5that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) 

Lord God my Father,

You are my hope and life, without you I am sinful and dead. Thank you for your Truth and Hope in my life. Keep doubt away from me and give me the understanding I can hold this day. My confidence rest in you alone.

I have appeared to you to appoint you as my servant and witness. 

 I am sending you to the Gentiles 18to open their eyes, so they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God.

Lord God my Father,

Soften my heart so I may live completely for you. Allow you Love to cleanse me and use me as you wish in this world.
