This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Look! I am going to put breath into you and make you live again! 6I will put flesh and muscles on you and cover you with skin. I will put breath into you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”

I turned my face away and punished them because of their defilement and their sins.

Lord God my Father,

Restore me and bring new life to my heart. Forgive me for turning away and restore me to your presence. I have sinned against you and I regret it. Restore me to your desire for me.

Lord God my Father,

Bring your blessing back to your people, restore our hearts to know you. Wash us clean and restore sanity to our thoughts and actions. Move us from our decisions and back to our design.

Their guilt rests upon them because they brought terror to everyone while they were still alive.

 They lie there as outcasts with others who were slaughtered by the sword. They share the shame of all who have descended to the pit.

Then if those who hear the alarm refuse to take action, it is their own fault if they die.

 Turn! Turn from your wickedness, O people of Israel! Why should you die?

“Your people are saying, ‘The Lord isn’t doing what’s right,’ but it is they who are not doing what’s right. 

Lord God my Father,

Soften my heart so I may live by your perfect desire and please you. Help me to do as you wish and draw the lost closer to finding you. Help us to not be hardened in our wickedness. I am the problem, not you.

“You were blameless in all you did from the day you were created until the day evil was found in you.16Your rich commerce led you to violence, and you sinned.

And the day will come when I will cause the ancient glory of Israel to revive, and then, Ezekiel, your words will be respected. Then they will know that I am the Lord.”

Lord God my Father,

Help me to become blameless by growing closer to you and leave my sinful nature behind so your Glory will have freedom in me.

You will never be rebuilt, for I, the Lord, have spoken. Yes, the Sovereign Lord has spoken!

Protect me from destruction and show me the correct path.

You brought all this on yourself by prostituting yourself to other nations, defiling yourself with all their idols. 

“Now this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Bring an army against them and hand them over to be terrorized and plundered. 

In this way, I will put an end to lewdness and idolatry in the land, and my judgment will be a warning to all women not to follow your wicked example. 

Lord God my Father,

Protect me and keep me strong in your desire to overcome temptation. Reveal my sin nature and direct me away from it and towards your perfect Love. Change me to your desire for me and away from my nature.

Righteous people will be rewarded for their own righteous behavior, and wicked people will be punished for their own wickedness. 21But if wicked people turn away from all their sins and begin to obey my decrees and do what is just and right, they will surely live and not die. 22All their past sins will be forgotten, and they will live because of the righteous things they have done.

And I gave them my Sabbath days of rest as a sign between them and me. It was to remind them that I am the Lord, who had set them apart to be holy.

Lord God my Father,

Draw me close and lead me to be righteous among the people. I want to obey your will but struggle with my own. Give me power over myself and deliver me to your way, may I honor you in all I do.

“But you thought your fame and beauty were your own. 

Lord God my Father,

You are perfect, good, Truth, Peace and Love. Good only comes from you. I am broken and a sinner, I need your guidance to get past my weakness and into your light. Draw me close and protect me from myself.

You have discouraged the righteous with your lies, but I didn’t want them to be sad. And you have encouraged the wicked by promising them life, even though they continue in their sins. 

 When I turn against them, you will know that I am the Lord.

Lord God my Father,

We have turned from you and deserve to be removed from your presence, help us to return to your truth and Love, this chaos is not your way. I love you Lord, use me even thou I am useless on my own.

Son of man, you live among rebels who have eyes but refuse to see. They have ears but refuse to hear. For they are a rebellious people.

Lord God my Father,

Recover my broken heart and restore it to your way and away from my rebellious way. I want to hear and follow you without compromise.
