But you will have a son who will be a man of peace and rest, and I will give him rest from all his enemies on every side. 

 Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me.

You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, 12that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. Lord my God, I will praise you forever.

Lord God my Father,

With you, I am at peace. You comfort me in difficult times, you know me. Your strength carries me through my weakness, and you heal my spirit. You restore delight to my soul and bring restoration and peace.

Help me to only represent you in my life so your blessing will flow from me. Only you are good.

Lord God, you are my rock I stand on and you bring blessing to all I do in your name. You are the delight in my soul I wish to share with your people to allow them to know you.

But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.

For I am about to fall, and my pain is ever with me. 18I confess my iniquity; I am troubled by my sin.

Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.

But as for me, I am poor and needy; may the Lord think of me. You are my help and my deliverer; you are my God, do not delay.

But God will shoot them with his arrows; they will suddenly be struck down. 8He will turn their own tongues against them and bring them to ruin; all who see them will shake their heads in scorn.

I need you, you are my hope and strength. As I grow tired I require your strength. Protect me from the fallen world and allow me to rest in your arms. Provide for my needs and allow your plan to rest on me well.

But the king said, “What does this have to do with you, you sons of Zeruiah? If he is cursing because the Lord said to him, ‘Curse David,’ who can ask, ‘Why do you do this?’ ”

It may be that the Lord will look upon my misery and restore to me his covenant blessing instead of his curse today.”

Lord God my Father,

Help me to not guess your plan but to follow it without distraction. If I must suffer to release your will, so be it.

Victory comes from you, O Lord. May you bless your people.

Don’t sin by letting anger control you. Think about it overnight and remain silent.

To you, Lord, I call; you are my Rock, do not turn a deaf ear to me. For if you remain silent, I will be like those who go down to the pit.

But you, God, will bring down the wicked into the pit of decay; the bloodthirsty and deceitful will not live out half their days. But as for me, I trust in you.

Lord God my Father,

You are victory in all things, help me to follow you only. Protect my thoughts so I don’t argue with your plan. Your foundation is solid and never moves, help me to keep my feet on it and allow you to do the battles before me as you see fit because I trust you.

But God does not just sweep life away; instead, he devises ways to bring us back when we have been separated from him.

“If the Lord sees fit,” David said, “he will bring me back to see the Ark and the Tabernacle again. 26But if he is through with me, then let him do what seems best to him.”

Lord God my Father,

Protect me from crafty deceivers and keep my in your Truth. Use my life to show your glory and give me wisdom to move forward or not in what is to be done.

Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me.

The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.

Look down and have mercy on me. Give your strength to your servant; save me, the son of your servant.

Lord God my Father,

Restore me to your perfect, peaceful, completely trusting in your plan, desire. Remove my opinion and allow your way to be on me in all issues of the day. I am a sinner without you and I wish to only be in your will so your strength is all I carry.
