So I purged out everything foreign and assigned tasks to the priests and Levites, making certain that each knew his work. 31I also made sure that the supply of wood for the altar and the first portions of the harvest were brought at the proper times.
Remember this in my favor, O my God.

Lord God,
Give me your discernment about my faith. Reveal ate pockets of sin I carry in my life and give me strength to overcome them and give my all to following you and your desires for me. Help me to become a slave to you.

Since the gracious hand of our God was on us,

From the days of our ancestors until now, we have been steeped in sin. That is why we and our kings and our priests have been at the mercy of the pagan kings of the land.

Lord God,
You are mighty in your way, Lord God build my faith and remove my weakness. Make me confidant and filled with your power. Help me to understand the desire you hae for me and may I surrender to your way. I have spent my life running away from you, not doing all the things you have for me to do, may I commit the rest of my days to following you.

Many will be purified, cleansed, and refined by these trials. But the wicked will continue in their wickedness, and none of them will understand.

Lord God,
Place in me the desire to understand only what you wish me to understand. Remove from me my own craving to understand this world and replace it with your blessed direction for me to ponder.

“He is so good!
His faithful love for Israel endures forever!”

We make this plea, not because we deserve help, but because of your mercy.

Soon I must return to fight against the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia,

Lord God, You are merciful and Loving, Only by your mercy do you forgive me of my sin. I pray Lord for forgiveness of my stubborn self directed way and surrender to our desire for me. Show me your desire and give me strength over my sinful way to wholeheartedly serve you.

I have heard that you have the spirit of the gods within you and that you are filled with insight, understanding, and wisdom.

“I decree that everyone throughout my kingdom should tremble with fear before the God of Daniel.
For he is the living God,
and he will endure forever.
His kingdom will never be destroyed,
and his rule will never end.
27He rescues and saves his people;
he performs miraculous signs and wonders
in the heavens and on earth.
He has rescued Daniel
from the power of the lions.”

Lord God, Make my spirit strong, Give it courage to stand high in this fallen world may it be directed only by you.

“Praise to the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego! He sent his angel to rescue his servants who trusted in him. They defied the king’s command and were willing to die rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.

“Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and glorify and honor the King of heaven. All his acts are just and true, and he is able to humble the proud.”

Lord God,
I continue to struggle with my own pride and arrogance. I desire to have the world my way instead of having it as it is> Lord God, continue to humble me and continue to shape me in your desire. I get frustrated and confused and wish to fix your world, I realize this is my desire to change your work. Work in me to reveal who you designed me to be.
