“Praise to the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego! He sent his angel to rescue his servants who trusted in him. They defied the king’s command and were willing to die rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.

“Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and glorify and honor the King of heaven. All his acts are just and true, and he is able to humble the proud.”

Lord God,
I continue to struggle with my own pride and arrogance. I desire to have the world my way instead of having it as it is> Lord God, continue to humble me and continue to shape me in your desire. I get frustrated and confused and wish to fix your world, I realize this is my desire to change your work. Work in me to reveal who you designed me to be.

That night the secret was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven. 20He said,
“Praise the name of God forever and ever,
for he has all wisdom and power.
21He controls the course of world events;

Oh to submit to the wisdom of God the creator who knows all, May I learn the blessing of quiet in his presence.

Lord God,
Grant me favor in your wisdom, Give me power over my thoughts and allow me to surrender them to you. Grant me strength to pursue you relentlessly.

Too much activity gives you restless dreams; too many words make you a fool.

When you make a promise to God, don’t delay in following through, for God takes no pleasure in fools. Keep all the promises you make to him. 5It is better to say nothing than to make a promise and not keep it. 6Don’t let your mouth make you sin.

Don’t be surprised if you see a poor person being oppressed by the powerful and if justice is being miscarried throughout the land. For every official is under orders from higher up, and matters of justice get lost in red tape and bureaucracy.

Lord God,
help me to release my desire to understand and control and jus let you be in control over All things. I struggle to understand why, may I release that to trust in your plan not mine. Lord God it is your peace I wish to live in. I have proven my way just doesn’t work. Thank you for your patience with me.

8The greater my wisdom, the greater my grief.
To increase knowledge only increases sorrow.

And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labor, for these are gifts from God.

Lord God, Father
Help me to live this day lead by your Joy, May Joy lead me into all I do today May I take delight doing your will and be an example of peace to my family and the world.

And it is good for people to submit at an early age
to the yoke of his discipline:

Restore us, O lord, and bring us back to you again!
Give us back the joys we once had!
22Or have you utterly rejected us?
Are you angry with us still?
