‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? It is useless for you to fight against my will

Lord God my Father,
Make clear the areas of my will that are not of your desire and be your love to those around me free of my past.

But if you have doubts about whether or not you should eat something, you are sinning if you go ahead and do it.
Now all glory to God, who is able to make you strong, just as my Good News says.
Lord God my Father,
Make me sensitive to your plan and protect me from my sinful nature. May my actions bring you glory.

19Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say,“I will take revenge;I will pay them back,”12:19 Deut 32:35.says the Lord.
Lord God my Father,
Help me to understand where I want to do your job and release me from that desire.

Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. 6So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. 7For the sinful nature is always hostile to God.
All day long I opened my arms to them,but they were disobedient and rebellious.”
Lord God my Father,
Again I plea for your purpose to overwhelm my desire. Make me into who you created me to be and use me for your Glory. Forgive me for the ways of my past and deliver me into your work this day.

God counted him as righteous because of his faith.”
4When people work, their wages are not a gift, but something they have earned. 5But people are counted as righteous, not because of their work, but because of their faith in God who forgives sinners.
God’s promise to give the whole earth to Abraham and his descendants was based not on his obedience to God’s law, but on a right relationship with God that comes by faith.
18Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone. 19Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. But because one other person obeyed God, many will be made righteous.
12Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires. 13Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.
Lord God my Father
Open my heart to understand your love for me, Give me your power to release me from my sinful nature and be restored to who you created me to be. Protect me from my sinful nature and allow me to live in your Truth.

So we are made right with God through faith and not by obeying the law.
Well then, if we emphasize faith, does this mean that we can forget about the law? Of course not! In fact, only when we have faith do we truly fulfill the law.
Lord God my Father,
Open my heart to surrender to your desire so I may understand how to live for you.

We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.
But I fear that somehow your pure and undivided devotion to Christ will be corrupted, just as Eve was deceived by the cunning ways of the serpent
Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.
So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.
Lord God my Father,
Thank you for loving me to the point of showing me where I fail. Lord God, capture all my thoughts and keep from me the deceit Satan wishes for me. You are my strength, alone I am weak. May Jesus live thru me.

For we live by believing and not by seeing.
He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves.
Our hearts ache, but we always have joy.
For God loves a person who gives cheerfully. And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.
Lord God my Father,
Open my heart to see you in all things. Help me to rest in your truth and live for you. Allow me to rejoice in the trials and direct my hands to do your work.

For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

You have chosen me, make clear your desire for me. Keep me in your truth and free me from myself.
