I know the way you have raged against me.29And because of your raging against meand your arrogance, which I have heard for myself,I will put my hook in your noseand my bit in your mouth.I will make you returnby the same road on which you came.”

Then King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz cried out in prayer to God in heaven. 21And the Lord sent an angel who destroyed the Assyrian army with all its commanders and officers. 

Lord God my Father,

Protect my gaze, keep it on you. Give me comfort in your plan and courage to follow only you. Destroy those who stand against you or turn them back to you.

“But suddenly, your ruthless enemies will be crushed like the finest of dust. Your many attackers will be driven away like chaff before the wind. Suddenly, in an instant,6I, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, will act for you with thunder and earthquake and great noise, with whirlwind and storm and consuming fire.7All the nations fighting against Jerusalem29:7 Hebrew Ariel. will vanish like a dream!

Are you amazed and incredulous? Don’t you believe it? Then go ahead and be blind. You are stupid, but not from wine! You stagger, but not from liquor!10For the Lord has poured out on you a spirit of deep sleep. He has closed the eyes of your prophets and visionaries.

And so the Lord says,“ These people say they are mine. They honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.

What sorrow awaits those who try to hide their plans from the Lord, who do their evil deeds in the dark!“ The Lord can’t see us,” they say. “He doesn’t know what’s going on!”16How foolish can you be? He is the Potter, and he is certainly greater than you, the clay! Should the created thing say of the one who made it, “He didn’t make me”? Does a jar ever say, “The potter who made me is stupid”?

In that day the deaf will hear words read from a book, and the blind will see through the gloom and darkness.19The humble will be filled with fresh joy from the Lord. The poor will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.20The scoffer will be gone, the arrogant will disappear, and those who plot evil will be killed.21Those who convict the innocent by their false testimony will disappear. A similar fate awaits those who use trickery to pervert justice and who tell lies to destroy the innocent.

Lord God my Father,

Keep me close, warn me when the attack is close. Open my eyes so I may truly see that your plan is perfect. My only desire is to serve you well.

Don’t let him fool you into trusting in the Lord by saying, ‘The Lord will surely rescue us. This city will never fall into the hands of the Assyrian king!’

Lord God my Father,

Keep your Truth on my heart, don’t allow deceit to reach me. Your Truth is the only power I need.

Now go and write down these words. Write them in a book. They will stand until the end of time as a witness that these people are stubborn rebels who refuse to pay attention to the Lord’s instructions. They tell the seers, “Stop seeing visions!” They tell the prophets, “Don’t tell us what is right. Tell us nice things. Tell us lies.

“Because you despise what I tell you and trust instead in oppression and lies,13calamity will come upon you suddenly—like a bulging wall that bursts and falls. In an instant it will collapse and come crashing down.

This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says: “Only in returning to me and resting in me will you be saved. In quietness and confidence is your strength.

Lord God my Father,

Soften my stubborn way, make me stubborn in you only. Give me courage to do your bidding today.

The leaders of the people have led Egypt astray.14The Lord has sent a spirit of foolishness on them, so all their suggestions are wrong. They cause Egypt to stagger like a drunk in his vomit.15There is nothing Egypt can do. All are helpless—

At that time the Lord, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, called you to weep and mourn. He told you to shave your heads in sorrow for your sins and to wear clothes of burlap to show your remorse.13But instead, you dance and play; you slaughter cattle and kill sheep. You feast on meat and drink wine. You say, “Let’s feast and drink, for tomorrow we die!”

Lord God my Father,

All around me things are not as they should be. Lord keep me close so I don’t follow the world. I want your Peace to be my peace, I want your Truth to guide me and encourage the lost to seek you.

The Lord supports the humble, but he brings the wicked down into the dust.

No, the Lord’s delight is in those who fear him, those who put their hope in his unfailing love.

Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord! Praise the Lord!

Lord God my Father,

I rely on you for everything, keep me close so I don’t wonder away from you. May I see your essence in every moment today.

I am tired of living among people who hate peace.7I search for peace;but when I speak of peace, they want war!

They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest.

Lord God my Father,

Keep me in your peace, help me see the reward of your desire.

I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.12I praise you, O Lord; teach me your decrees.

Your laws please me; they give me wise advice.

I weep with sorrow; encourage me by your word.29Keep me from lying to myself; give me the privilege of knowing your instructions.

I reflect at night on who you are, O Lord; therefore, I obey your instructions.

I used to wander off until you disciplined me; but now I closely follow your word.

Get out of my life, you evil-minded people, for I intend to obey the commands of my God.116Lord, sustain me as you promised, that I may live! Do not let my hope be crushed.

Lord God my Father,

Restore me to your original design, restore me to do your will only. Use my past to grow me into your messenger so I may reflect your glory to those around me as you desire.

I will lift up the cup of salvationand praise the Lord’s name for saving me.14I will keep my promises to the Lordin the presence of all his people.

The Lord is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?

My enemies did their best to kill me, but the Lord rescued me.

This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.25Please, Lord, please save us. Please, Lord, please give us success.

Lord God my Father,

Thank you for your creation and making me a part of it. Lord help me to accept your place for me and boldly do your will. Please, Please give me success in this day and may it all be for your glory.

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.2Has the Lord redeemed you? Then speak out! Tell others he has redeemed you from your enemies.

Those who are wise will take all this to heart; they will see in our history the faithful love of the Lord.

How amazing are the deeds of the Lord! All who delight in him should ponder them.

All he does is just and good,and all his commandments are trustworthy.8They are forever true,to be obeyed faithfully and with integrity.9He has paid a full ransom for his people.He has guaranteed his covenant with them forever.What a holy, awe-inspiring name he has!10Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true wisdom.All who obey his commandments will grow in wisdom.

Light shines in the darkness for the godly.They are generous, compassionate, and righteous.5Good comes to those who lend money generouslyand conduct their business fairly.6Such people will not be overcome by evil.Those who are righteous will be long remembered.7They do not fear bad news;they confidently trust the Lord to care for them.8They are confident and fearlessand can face their foes triumphantly.

Lord God my Father

You are everything good, you are life it’s self. Thank you Lore for choosing me to love. I just want to life this day delighting with you in all things good and not so good for your plan is wonderful.
