“It has come at last—salvation and power and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ.12:10a Or his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters12:10b Greek brothers. has been thrown down to earth—the one who accuses them before our God day and night.11And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony.

Lord God my Father,

May this day unfold as you desire with me at peace with it. You are in control and your plan is perfect. Give me discernment and courage to stand for you in all things.

“Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. 

Then I began to weep bitterly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll and read it.

Lord God my Father,

Help me to live your plan and let you into all areas of my life. Help me to allow your strength to overcome my weakness and to care for my life as you desire, change my desire to yours.

All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen.

All glory to him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by shedding his blood for us. 6He has made us a Kingdom of priests for God his Father. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen.

“But I also have a message for the rest of you in Thyatira who have not followed this false teaching (‘deeper truths,’ as they call them—depths of Satan, actually). 

Lord God my Father,

You are the Truth and the Light. Keep me under your authority and protected from attack by the darkness.

Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. 

Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love.

We know that God’s children do not make a practice of sinning, for God’s Son holds them securely, and the evil one cannot touch them.

Dear children, keep away from anything that might take God’s place in your hearts.

Lord God my Father,

Fill my heart with your Truth so I may carry your Love properly, protect me from the fear in the world. Keep my eyes focused on you and away from distraction.

In Jesus name I pray,

And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.

 Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, 6and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness, 7and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone.

They promise freedom, but they themselves are slaves of sin and corruption. For you are a slave to whatever controls you.

And remember, our Lord’s patience gives people time to be saved.

Lord God my Father,

Give me an ability to share your nature with others as I grow in my understanding. Give me a heart that desires your Truth and protects me. Give me discernment over the corruption Satan wants me to ponder.

In Jesus name I pray,

And you are living stones that God is building into his spiritual temple. What’s more, you are his holy priests.

He did not retaliate when he was insulted,

Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins. 

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. 9Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith.

Lord God my Father,

Use me to build your temple. Give me a kind heart that doesn’t need to have it’s way. Allow your Love to develop in me as you desire and protect me from evil.

In Jesus name I pray,

Pray for us, for our conscience is clear and we want to live honorably in everything we do.

May he produce in you,13:21 Some manuscripts read in us.through the power of Jesus Christ,every good thing that is pleasing to him.All glory to him forever and ever! Amen.

So prepare your minds for action and exercise self-control. Put all your hope in the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world. 14So you must live as God’s obedient children. Don’t slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. 

So get rid of all evil behavior. Be done with all deceit, hypocrisy, jealousy, and all unkind speech.

Lord God my Father,

Soften my heart so I will be able to hear your desire for me. Use me to produce your good so I may please you. Strengthen my self control to protect me from compromise.

By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.

Although Abel is long dead, he still speaks to us by his example of faith.

And so a whole nation came from this one man who was as good as dead

It was by faith that Moses left the land of Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger. He kept right on going because he kept his eyes on the one who is invisible.

So take a new grip with your tired hands and strengthen your weak knees. 13Mark out a straight path for your feet so that those who are weak and lame will not fall but become strong.

 “Once again I will shake not only the earth but the heavens also.”12:26 Hag 2:6. 27This means that all of creation will be shaken and removed, so that only unshakable things will remain.

Lord God my Father,

My faith tells me that you are in charge of all things, help me to surrender my thoughts to your Truth may rest on me well. Help me to truth in your plan and stand firm in the unknown, unshakable in the test to come.

They did not remain faithful to my covenant,so I turned my back on them, says the Lord.10But this is the new covenant I will makewith the people of Israel on that day,8:10 Greek after those days. says the Lord:I will put my laws in their minds,and I will write them on their hearts.I will be their God,and they will be my people.11And they will not need to teach their neighbors,nor will they need to teach their relatives,8:11 Greek their brother.saying, ‘You should know the Lord.’For everyone, from the least to the greatest,will know me already.12And I will forgive their wickedness,

Under the old system, the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer could cleanse people’s bodies from ceremonial impurity. 14Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our consciences from sinful deeds9:14 Greek from dead works. so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins.

Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. 25And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins. 27There is only the terrible expectation of God’s judgment and the raging fire that will consume his enemies.

Lord God my Father,

Give me strength to keep my focus on you in these dark times. Open my heart to your Truth and give me discernment over deceit so I may avoid it. You are in charge of everything and I wish to only follow your desire and act on your plan.

This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. 

God appointed his Son with an oath, and his Son has been made the perfect High Priest forever.

Lord God my Father,

You know me, you know my struggles better than I do. Guide me to be more like Jesus in my heart and follow His example in this world of temptation. Protect me from my poor decisions.
