“The righteous will be happy to see the wicked destroyed,and the innocent will laugh in contempt.20They will say, ‘See how our enemies have been destroyed.The last of them have been consumed in the fire.’

“Submit to God, and you will have peace;then things will go well for you.22Listen to his instructions,and store them in your heart.23If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored—so clean up your life.

And when he tests me, I will come out as pure as gold.11For I have stayed on God’s paths;I have followed his ways and not turned aside.12I have not departed from his commands,but have treasured his words more than daily food.

Lord God my Father,

Cleanse my heart and make me righteous, protect me from evil temptation. Give me courage in your Truth and cause me to turn towards you in all things.

Work on my heart so it is clean, repair my thoughts so they are pure. Give me confidence in how I live to honor you and remove my sinful nature.

“You must defend my innocence, O God,since no one else will stand up for me.4You have closed their minds to understanding,but do not let them triumph.

Even if I have sinned, that is my concern, not yours.5You think you’re better than I am, using my humiliation as evidence of my sin.6But it is God who has wronged me, capturing me in his net.

“Don’t you realize that from the beginning of time, ever since people were first placed on the earth,5the triumph of the wicked has been short lived and the joy of the godless has been only temporary?6Though the pride of the godless reaches to the heavens and their heads touch the clouds,7yet they will vanish forever, thrown away like their own dung.

Lord God my Father,

Your Truth is all that matters, my salvation is in your hands only. By your grace only do I live. Lead me and allow your grace to deliver me from my trials.

“O earth, do not conceal my blood.Let it cry out on my behalf.19Even now my witness is in heaven.My advocate is there on high.

Lord God my Father,

In the hardest times you are still for me. Give me strength to endure the test and don’t deep your comfort from me.

“But true wisdom and power are found in God;counsel and understanding are his.

Let me speak, and I will face the consequences.14Why should I put myself in mortal danger13:14 Hebrew Why should I take my flesh in my teeth.and take my life in my own hands?

Tell me, what have I done wrong? Show me my rebellion and my sin.

Lord God my Father,

You are the answer, all my stress is self inflicted. Help me to take action as I should and live sin free and satisfied.

“But look, God will not reject a person of integrity, nor will he lend a hand to the wicked.21He will once again fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy.22Those who hate you will be clothed with shame, and the home of the wicked will be destroyed.

Lord God my Father,

Thank you for the struggles so I may cry out to you and take comfort. Help me, guide me to do your will quickly with confidence.

He would get up early in the morning and offer a burnt offering for each of them. For Job said to himself, “Perhaps my children have sinned and have cursed God in their hearts.” This was Job’s regular practice.

What I always feared has happened to me. What I dreaded has come true.26I have no peace, no quietness. I have no rest; only trouble comes.”

Lord God my Father,

Shape my heart to bring your honor to my family. Motivate me with your Truth and bless my children and wife. Protect me from Satan’s desire to destroy.

And the Lord was pleased with the aroma of the sacrifice and said to himself, “I will never again curse the ground because of the human race, even though everything they think or imagine is bent toward evil from childhood.

Lord God my Father,

Keep me aware of my nature so I may turn from it, allow me to rest in your nature and replace my way with yours. I am evil without you, overwhelm me in your Truth.

He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon!”Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!21May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s holy people.

Lord God my Father,

Keep me close so I may not be deceived, I wish to bring you honor with my every breath.

God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all. 6So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth.

For the Spirit2:27b Greek the anointing. teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true—it is not a lie. 

And now, dear children, remain in fellowship with Christ so that when he returns, you will be full of courage and not shrink back from him in shame.

 When people do what is right, it shows that they are righteous, even as Christ is righteous. 8But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. 

Lord God my Father,

Give me the courage and discernment to do what is right not matter the consequences. Your desire brings peace that I long for.
