The one who gets wisdom loves life; the one who cherishes understanding will soon prosper.

A sluggard buries his hand in the dish; he will not even bring it back to his mouth!

A person may think their own ways are right, but the Lord weighs the heart.

Lord God my Father,

Lord God, I cry out to you for your wisdom, your way. Keep me from filtering you through my desires. Help me to act on your desire above my own and not hesitate. Only your way it right, help me to only know your way.

Better a dry crust with peace and quiet than a house full of feasting, with strife.

The one who has knowledge uses words with restraint, and whoever has understanding is even-tempered.

To answer before listening— that is folly and shame.

Lord God my Father,

Bring Peace to all relationships in my life, help me to love louder than the hate and represent you well in all areas of my thoughts and actions. Allow your understanding to be known to me and give me discernment over all other. Help me to hear you.

What the wicked dread will overtake them; what the righteous desire will be granted.

A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy person keeps a secret.

The Lord detests those whose hearts are perverse, but he delights in those whose ways are blameless.

Lord God my Father,

You are my designer, help me to follow your design as you made me to. Protect me from gossip thinking and keep me in your Peace.

To fear the Lord is to hate evil I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.

For those who find me find life and receive favor from the Lord.

Lord God my Father,

Help me to have proper fear of you and stay in your path. Fill me with your desire and bless me with your favor.

Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. 24Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips. 25Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you.

Lord God my Father,

Protect me and make me aware of Peace takers. Calm my lips and thoughts to keep your Peace where it belongs. Keep my focus ahead, discarding the darkness of the past.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6in all your ways submit to him,

Lord God my Father,

Help me to know you and trust you in all areas of my thoughts and actions. You are the only Truth I need, my truth is foul to me.

Oh, that my ways were steadfast in obeying your decrees! 6Then I would not be put to shame

How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word.

I am a stranger on earth; do not hide your commands from me.

Cause me to understand the way of your precepts, that I may meditate on your wonderful deeds. 28My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word. 29Keep me from deceitful ways;

Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.

Lord God my Father,

Align me with your way, keep me close and on your path. I am lost without you and wondering to bad places. Protect and guide me with your peaceful presence and make me aware of my distractions.

“If he shows himself to be worthy, not a hair of his head will fall to the ground; but if evil is found in him, he will die.” 

But on David and his descendants, his house and his throne, may there be the Lord’s peace forever.”

Lord God my Father,

Help me to be worthy under your direction. Give me a heart that see’s deceit and stays in your desire. Allow your Peace to be my guide.

I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me. 2But I have calmed and quieted myself,

Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life. 9Rescue me from my enemies, Lord, for I hide myself in you. 10Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.

Lord God my Father,

I trust in your perfect plan, help me to follow it your way and keep me from trying to understand you so I may improve your plan. Allow rest to be my guide and peace me my strength, trusting in your desire living in me.

Give us aid against the enemy, for human help is worthless. 13With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.

Help me, Lord my God; save me according to your unfailing love. 27Let them know that it is your hand, that you, Lord, have done it.

Lord God my Father,

You are my provider and protector, protect me from attack and make your peace at home within me. Only with you will I thrive and delight in my daily task. Save me from the darkness, keep me overwhelmed in your light and let all know that you are with me.
