“ ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; 11 the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes’

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

“Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others.44They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.”

Lord God my Father,

Show me how to keep my focus on you without the distractions of this world, use me for your kingdom. Purify my Love and remove any darkness my desires may influence. Help me to give all that I have to you for your work.

“Have faith in God,”Jesus answered. 23“Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.

For I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me to say all that I have spoken.50I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say.”

Lord God my Father,

You are creator of all things including my faith. Help me to remove my doubts and believe without ponder, just believe. Help me to live as you speak to me without my desire creating conflict.

“Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham.10For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

Lord God my Father,

Release the greed from my heart and allow me to allow your spirit to influence mine so I may be like you.

These who were hired last worked only one hour,’ they said, ‘and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the work and the heat of the day.’

“But he answered one of them, ‘I am not being unfair to you, friend. Didn’t you agree to work for a denarius?14Take your pay and go. I want to give the one who was hired last the same as I gave you.15Don’t I have the right to do what I want with my own money? Or are you envious because I am generous?’

Jesus stopped and called them. “What do you want me to do for you?”he asked.

33“Lord,” they answered, “we want our sight.”

34Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes. Immediately they received their sight and followed him.

“Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.22If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”

Lord God my Father,

Help me to not live a life of comparison but of focus on your way. Teach me how to ask for your way before I move forward, give me faith without doubt, help me believe!

When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”

26Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.”

52 “Go,”said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.”Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.

Lord God my Father,

Lord God, I am blind and I want to truly see. Keep me from my own desires and make me see yours. Give me protection over the darkness ever prowling and keep me in your light. Without you I am nothing but dirt, with you I am freedom. Show me the way and give me courage to follow it.

Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”

“What is impossible with man is possible with God.”

The disciples did not understand any of this. Its meaning was hidden from them, and they did not know what he was talking about.

Lord God my Father,

Strip me bare and let me see as I once did. Help me to not live in doubt but in wonder. With you all things are possible. Open my spirit to know you and live for you alone.

“I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;26and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

 “Father, I thank you that you have heard me.42I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.”

Lord God my Father,

You are life and all things good. Help me to put all my faith in your plan and protect me from deceit. Help me to live by your way above the worlds. Give me confidence without question of your ability and deliverance, help me to know you.

“The master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light.9I tell you, use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings.

 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’ ”

“If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.

“Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”

Lord God my Father,

Give me the shrewdness to do your will without compromise, help me to create relationships for you. Align my heart with yours so I can know your will and carry no doubt. Allow your Love to be seen above my nature.

In Jesus name I pray,

For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

And whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.

 “Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again?35It is fit neither for the soil nor for the manure pile; it is thrown out.

“Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.”

But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ ”

Lord God my Father,

Help me to find my place in your kingdom and do your work as you desire. Make me fruitful and carry your word well so it is shared. Open my heart so I know you and share you with others and allow them to hear. Help me find the lost sheep so we can celebrate.

 “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”

And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it.30For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them.31But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.

It will be good for those servants whose master finds them watching when he comes. Truly I tell you, he will dress himself to serve, will have them recline at the table and will come and wait on them.

“The servant who knows the master’s will and does not get ready or does not do what the master wants will be beaten with many blows.48But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.

 “ ‘Sir,’ the man replied, ‘leave it alone for one more year, and I’ll dig around it and fertilize it.9If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.’ ”

Lord God my Father,

Keep me quiet and content with what I have and cause me to maintain well all the blessings you lay on me. Keep me from worry and stress but delighted for the opportunity of today. Bless my actions so your desire flows from me and makes a difference, keep me from undue rest. Show me how to allow your inspiration to move me forward.
