“And if you fail to learn the lesson and continue your hostility toward me, 24then I myself will be hostile toward you. I will personally strike you with calamity seven times over for your sins.

I will demoralize you in the land of your enemies. You will live in such fear that the sound of a leaf driven by the wind will send you fleeing. You will run as though fleeing from a sword, and you will fall even when no one pursues you.

Lord God my Father,

Help me to know you and live by your desire above my perverted one. Keep my heart in your delight and protect me from deceit. Allow your way to be my way and remove my past so I may live as you wish, allowing me to experience life as you wish.

“The land must never be sold on a permanent basis, for the land belongs to me. You are only foreigners and tenant farmers working for me.

Lord God my Father,

Everything is yours and I am allowed to care for it for you. Help me to truly see this and treat all I am blessed with as you deserve. Keep me from taking all your gifts for granted.

“You must keep all my decrees and regulations by putting them into practice; otherwise the land to which I am bringing you as your new home will vomit you out. 23Do not live according to the customs of the people I am driving out before you.

You must not offer an animal that is blind, crippled, or injured, or that has a wart, a skin sore, or scabs.

Lord God my Father,

Guide me to honor you in all of who I am. Direct me thoughts and actions and protect me from Satan’s temptations.

“Do not use dishonest standards when measuring length, weight, or volume. 36Your scales and weights must be accurate. Your containers for measuring dry materials or liquids must be accurate.19:36 Hebrew Use an honest ephah [a dry measure] and an honest hin [a liquid measure]. I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt.

Lord God my Father,

Keep me close and protect my thoughts from wondering away from your truth. May I honor you in all my thoughts today.

It will be a Sabbath day of complete rest for you, and you must deny yourselves. 

Lord God my Father,

Give me strength and focus to follow your direction above my sinful desires. Protect me from the deceiver’s desire to distract me.

You must distinguish between what is sacred and what is common, between what is ceremonially unclean and what is clean.

For I am the Lord your God. You must consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy.

Lord God my Father,

Help me to follow your desire above all else. Help me to allow you to have your way with my thoughts so I may be still enough to hear you.

 “Wait here until I have received instructions for you from the Lord.”

Lord God my Father,

Help me to always be looking for your instructions before I act.

So the people of Israel followed all of the Lord’s instructions to Moses. 43Then Moses inspected all their work. When he found it had been done just as the Lord had commanded him, he blessed them.

just as the Lord had commanded him.

So they camped or traveled at the Lord’s command, and they did whatever the Lord told them through Moses.

Lord God my Father,

Cause me to follow your instructions without hesitation, keep me from distraction. Help my will to align with yours. Help me to do only what you want from me.

Both men and women came, all whose hearts were willing. They brought to the Lord their offerings of gold—brooches, earrings, rings from their fingers, and necklaces.

The Lord has filled Bezalel with the Spirit of God, giving him great wisdom, ability, and expertise in all kinds of crafts.

Lord God my Father,

Cause me to be willing without condition, for the glory of your kingdom. Help me to use the gifts you have given me, without hesitation to show your desire.

The Lord told Moses, “Quick! Go down the mountain! Your people whom you brought from the land of Egypt have corrupted themselves. 

How quickly they have turned away from the way I commanded them to live! 

Moses saw that Aaron had let the people get completely out of control, much to the amusement of their enemies.

“Today you have ordained yourselves32:29 As in Greek and Latin versions; Hebrew reads Today ordain yourselves. for the service of the Lord, for you obeyed him even though it meant killing your own sons and brothers. Today you have earned a blessing.”

The Lord replied, “I will personally go with you, Moses, and I will give you rest—everything will be fine for you.”

Lord God my Father,

Bring your peace over me and quiet my thoughts. Protect my mind from Satan’s desire to deceive. Allow your Truth to be the only focus I seek and keep me from false worship. When I stray, make me aware and restore me. Be with me in obvious ways today.
