“The Lord our God has secrets known to no one. We are not accountable for them, but we and our children are accountable forever for all that he has revealed to us,

“Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! 

So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”

In the days to come, disaster will come down on you, for you will do what is evil in the Lord’s sight, making him very angry with your actions.”

Lord God my Father,

Reveal to me your desire, give me strength to follow you and discernment to deceit. Cause me to choose life abundant and protect me from fear. You are my God and my protector. Without your guidance I fail and fall into my sin nature. Hold me in your protection.

“The Lord your God will change your heart30:6 Hebrew circumcise your heart. and the hearts of all your descendants, so that you will love him with all your heart and soul and so you may live! 

After you are gone, these people will begin to worship foreign gods, the gods of the land where they are going. They will abandon me and break my covenant that I have made with them. 17Then my anger will blaze forth against them. I will abandon them, hiding my face from them, and they will be devoured. Terrible trouble will come down on them, and on that day they will say, ‘These disasters have come down on us because God is no longer among us!’ 

Lord God my Father,

Help me to surrender my will and allow you to have your way so I may be blessed as you desire. protect me from temptation.

‘With this gift I acknowledge to the Lord your God that I have entered the land he swore to our ancestors he would give us.

 So be careful to obey them wholeheartedly. 17You have declared today that the Lord is your God. And you have promised to walk in his ways,

 You will be a nation that is holy to the Lord your God, just as he promised.”

Lord God my Father,

Help me to honor you and live by your promise without anxiety. You are in control and I am unable to understand your plan and that is ok. Help me to honor you with my thoughts and actions today.

The Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, is with you!

Lord God my Father,

You are in charge and if you call me to do something, you will be with me. Keep me from fear and delay, help me to act as you desire.

“The Lord your God will be merciful only if you listen to his voice and keep all his commands that I am giving you today, doing what pleases him.

All must give as they are able, according to the blessings given to them by the Lord your God.

Lord God my Father,

Protect me from distraction so I may hear your voice alone. Give me strength over my struggles so I can do your will without compromise. Help me to give all my efforts to your glory and not my own.

O Sovereign Lord, you have only begun to show your greatness and the strength of your hand to me, your servant. Is there any god in heaven or on earth who can perform such great and mighty deeds as you do?

 ‘How wise and prudent are the people of this great nation!’ 7For what great nation has a god as near to them as the Lord our God is near to us whenever we call on him? 

But from there you will search again for the Lord your God. And if you search for him with all your heart and soul, you will find him.

You have six days each week for your ordinary work, 14but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of rest dedicated to the Lord your God. On that day no one in your household may do any work.

Lord God my Father,

Show your greatness on this country once again. Restore us to your order and Truth. We call on you to pour yourself over us and make us clean. We seek you and look forward to delighting in your presence in great ways. Help us to be still in your presence and allow you to have your way.

“As for me, I stayed on the mountain in the Lord’s presence for forty days and nights, as I had done the first time. And once again the Lord listened to my pleas and agreed not to destroy you. 11Then the Lord said to me, ‘Get up and resume the journey,

And you must always obey the Lord’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good.

Therefore, change your hearts10:16 Hebrew circumcise the foreskin of your hearts. and stop being stubborn.

“Look, today I am giving you the choice between a blessing and a curse! 27You will be blessed if you obey the commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you today. 28But you will be cursed if you reject the commands of the Lord your God and turn away from him and worship gods you have not known before.

Lord God my Father,

I pray for our nation, for it to get back under your blessing. Help me to be a good witness to you and cause others to seek you. Make us stubborn to only follow you if we are to be stubborn. Help me to follow your design over my own decisions.

He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands. 10But he does not hesitate to punish and destroy those who reject him.

But don’t be afraid of them! Just remember what the Lord your God did to Pharaoh and to all the land of Egypt.

“You must burn their idols in fire, and you must not covet the silver or gold that covers them. You must not take it or it will become a trap to you, for it is detestable to the Lord your God. 26Do not bring any detestable objects into your home, for then you will be destroyed, just like them. You must utterly detest such things, for they are set apart for destruction.

Lord God my Father,

You are faithful and just, your way is true. Soften my heart so I may surrender it to your will. Give me courage to move forward as you desire. Protect me from my sinful nature.

Moses addressed the people of Israel, telling them everything the Lord had commanded him to say.

Go and occupy it as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, has promised you. Don’t be afraid! Don’t be discouraged!’

22“But you all came to me and said, ‘First, let’s send out scouts to explore the land for us. They will advise us on the best route to take and which towns we should enter.’

“But the Lord told me to tell you, ‘Do not attack, for I am not with you. If you go ahead on your own, you will be crushed by your enemies.’

Beginning today I will make people throughout the earth terrified because of you. When they hear reports about you, they will tremble with dread and fear.’”

Lord God my Father,

Help me to hear and obey your desire, give me courage. Keep me from fear and worry as I do your will, so your way is known. Be with me in all things and destroy your enemies before me.

The Lord had defeated the gods of Egypt that night with great acts of judgment!

But if you fail to drive out the people who live in the land, those who remain will be like splinters in your eyes and thorns in your sides. They will harass you in the land where you live. 56And I will do to you what I had planned to do to them.”

Lord God my Father,

Help me to release my desire to control so you may have your way with me. Give me strength to have an obedient heart that does your bidding.
