“ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38This is the first and greatest commandment.39And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.”

 “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others.44They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.”

Lord God my Father,

Help me to Love as you designed it, not from my perspective but from yours. Bring me close and bring a Peace that makes your way easy. Help me to rely on you for all things.

“Have faith in God,”Jesus answered. 23“Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.

Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life

Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out.32And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.”

Yet at the same time many even among the leaders believed in him. But because of the Pharisees they would not openly acknowledge their faith for fear they would be put out of the synagogue; 43for they loved human praise more than praise from God.

Lord God my Father,

I believe in you, help me to surrender all I am to you and not have limited desire on my own. Help me to allow you to have your way and to not exist but to represent you. Take all darkness and allow your light to have it’s way with me. Help me to only be a vessel of praise for you.

 “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham.10For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

 “I tell you,”he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”

 “If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace—but now it is hidden from your eyes.

Lord God my Father,

Cause me to seek you as I should and turn all over to you. Help everything I am to only cry out praise to you, from my eyes and lips to my toes and hair. Help me to truly know you.

Or are you envious because I am generous?’ 16 “So the last will be first, and the first will be last.”

“Lord,” they answered, “we want our sight.” 34Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes. Immediately they received their sight and followed him.

“Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.22If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”

Lord God my Father,

Keep me from judgmental thinking and comparing things around me. Let me see you only and follow you only so I may see your delight. Remove my desire to understand and just be obedient to your desires for me.

“With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”

“You don’t know what you are asking,”Jesus said. “Can you drink the cup I drink or be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with?”

“your faith has healed you.”

Lord God my Father,

Help me to let go and trust you in all things, especially those I don’t understand. Help me find my place in your work and be obedient to you. Keep me from arrogance and self-desire. Make my faith unconditional.

“Listen to what the unjust judge says.7And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?8I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

 For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

“Why do you call me good?”Jesus answered. “No one is good—except God alone.

 “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”

Lord God my Father,

Give me the courage to persist in seeking you in all things. The only good in me is you. With you in me, anything is possible, use me.

“This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.”

Then Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me.42I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.”

Lord God my Father,

Your plan is beyond my understanding so allow me to do your will without the need for understanding. Make me simple and obedient. Hear my prayer and have your way with me today.

“The master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light.9I

 “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.

 ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family,28for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’

“If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.

“Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”

Remember Lot’s wife!33Whoever tries to keep their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life will preserve it.

Lord God my Father,

Give me the shrewdness of this world and help me apply it to light the darkness. Help me to be worthy so I can be trusted with your work and share with conviction the darkness that will come for those who don’t know you. Give me a faith that has no doubt and keep my focus ahead, not looking back.

In Jesus name I pray,

here is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.3What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs.

“Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to.

Look, your house is left to you desolate. I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’

Lord God my Father,

Open my eyes so I may see your way and protect my thoughts and keep them from wondering away from you. Give me strength and determination to seek you in all ways this day and restore me to your design so I may inspire family.

“I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.

 “Martha, Martha,”the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things,42but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”

Lord God my Father,

Open my heart to know your desire for me and not limit you acting through me. Help me to believe you can do anything through me, help me to bring you glory in every appointment.
