Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life.

A bowl of vegetables with someone you love
is better than steak with someone you hate.

Lord God, may I use your power to fulfill the dreams on my heart that bring you Glory. May I live by your grace released thru me.

Listen as Wisdom calls out!
Hear as understanding raises her voice!

Leave your simple ways behind, and begin to live;
learn to use good judgment.”

Oh Lord,
Allow wisdom to find me open my spirit and allow the foolish ways to leave me, allow good judgement to lead me.

Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take.
7Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom.

Joyful is the person who finds wisdom,

Lord God,
may I do you will today. May I see your path before me today and choose to follow it not looking left or right. May this day and my efforts be according to your will and desire.

It will be a kindness!
If they correct me, it is soothing medicine.
Don’t let me refuse it.

I pour out my complaints before him
and tell him all my troubles.
3When I am overwhelmed,
you alone know the way I should turn.

Lord God my Lord,
Soften my stubborn ways, open my spirit to be changed by your desire for me. You are all I desire yet I hold back so much. Help me to release my way and allow you to have your way in me.

No, the lord’s delight is in those who fear him,
those who put their hope in his unfailing love.

Lord God,
May I delight in fearing you and surrendering to you will.

You go before me and follow me.
You place your hand of blessing on my head.
6Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too great for me to understand!

Shouldn’t I despise those who oppose you?
22Yes, I hate them with total hatred,
for your enemies are my enemies.
23Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24Point out anything in me that offends you,
and lead me along the path of everlasting life.

Lord God,
I am tired of not living completely in your blessing. Give me power over the compromise I have allowed to live in my life. Remove my flaws and restore me to your wonderful plan you have for me.

lord, if you kept a record of our sins,
who, O Lord, could ever survive?
4But you offer forgiveness,
that we might learn to fear you.
5I am counting on the lord;
yes, I am counting on him.
I have put my hope in his word.

Lord God,
Help me to grow out of my youthful ways and to put my life in your hands, Living as you planed allowing your forgiveness to remove my guilt and past so I may live in peace with you moving forward under your authority.

Who does the lord think we are?” they ask.
“Why does he speak to us like this?
Are we little children,
just recently weaned?
10He tells us everything over and over—

Because you despise what I tell you
and trust instead in oppression and lies,
13calamity will come upon you suddenly—
like a bulging wall that bursts and falls.

Oh Lord my God,
How do I understand you, how do I let go of my way, my stubborn way. You made me with unique gifts, does that make me better than others? Lord God, remove my will and make me wise in your way for me and be my guide in my thoughts.

This is what the lord says: ‘Everyone who stays in Jerusalem will die from war, famine, or disease, but those who surrender to the Babylonians will live.

Lord God,
Help me to understand surrender and how to do it.

“Speak a prophetic message to these bones and say, ‘Dry bones, listen to the word of the lord! 5This is what the Sovereign lord says: Look! I am going to put breath into you and make you live again!

The nations will then know why Israel was sent away to exile—it was punishment for sin, for they were unfaithful to their God. Therefore, I turned away from them and let their enemies destroy them.

Even dry bones listen to the Lord. How I have spent so much of my life killing my faith, rebelling, putting compromise in it, making “deals” with God and breaking my word to him. Why does he still find it in his heart to bless me? Awesome overwhelming, Holy Mercy.

Thank you Lord God for loving me when I was turning my back on you, you never gave up on me. Thank you for opening my spirit to walk with you in truth, your truth. Help me to process the guilt of the past and release me from satan’s desire to keep me in the guilt. You paid the price, you took my sin, personally held it in your hands and destroyed it on the cross, yet I struggle to forget. Lord God, give me Holy amnesia, fill me with your spirit so full, there is no room for my past. Thank you Lord for your persistent, overwhelming Love for this sinner.
