The time is coming when everything that is covered up will be revealed, and all that is secret will be made known to all. 3Whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be shouted from the housetops for all to hear!

“And a servant who knows what the master wants, but isn’t prepared and doesn’t carry out those instructions, will be severely punished.

Lord God,
Help me to use your power in me to stop speaking any lies, Help me to seek your wisdom in all relationships I have and act as thou I am with you at all times. Help me to do only your will.

I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you. 20But don’t rejoice because evil spirits obey you; rejoice because your names are registered in heaven.”

As Jesus was leaving, the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees became hostile and tried to provoke him with many questions. 54They wanted to trap him into saying something they could use against him.

Lord God my Father,
Help me to rejoice in your glory and not my strength. Help me to be aware when I am not working with you. Give me your power to overcome my weakness and not try to justify my failings. May I be driven by your will in all I do.

‘When they look, they won’t really see.
When they hear, they won’t understand.’

Its significance was hidden from them, so they couldn’t understand it, and they were afraid to ask him about it.

Lord God,
May my faith be pure, may I be worthy to hear and understand, May I be bold enough to ask for the true meaning and may the glory of the Lord overpower my own desires.

May I not turn away from you today, May I have faith to follow you in all this day brings.

“This child is destined to cause many in Israel to fall, but he will be a joy to many others. He has been sent as a sign from God, but many will oppose him. 35As a result, the deepest thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your very soul.”

“You are my dearly loved Son, and you bring me great joy.

Lord God,
I seek your truth and pray I may please you in my obedience to your instruction. Lord I have filtered your word thru my understanding, Lord reveal your understanding to me and may I please you.

“My Father! If it is possible, let this cup of suffering be taken away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”

Lord God, my Father,
Give me the courage to stand with you in all parts of my life, help me to be a wise servant and multiply the gifts you trust me with and not hide them.

You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected.

If the master returns and finds that the servant has done a good job, there will be a reward.

Lord God,
May I live my life in a constant state of doing your will. May I do your will at all times. Lord God, I surrender to you now take from me my evil desires so I may be relived from my conflict and struggle to be in control and allow you to rule all of me.

Lord God,
Expose my humanity in me and help me put all my trust and faith in you.

17Jesus replied, “You are blessed, Simon son of John,because my Father in heaven has revealed this to you. You did not learn this from any human being.

Lord God,
I pray to have my eyes open to see your message for me. Lord help me with my obedience and remove distractions from my path.

Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand.”

So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. 30But when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted.

Lord God,
Help me with my leadership of my family. Lord give me wisdom and obedience to act on your desire for me.
