Whenever the cloud lifted from over the sacred tent, the people of Israel would break camp and follow it. And wherever the cloud settled, the people of Israel would set up camp.

“Arise, O lord, and let your enemies be scattered! Let them flee before you!” 36And when the Ark was set down, he would say, “Return, O lord, to the countless thousands of Israel!”

Lord God, May I be obedient to you, May I do what I know you wish me to do and not resist your directions in my life. May I rise when you say rise and sleep when you say sleep and care for your kingdom as you wish.

Anyone other than a priest or Levite who went too near the sanctuary was to be put to death.

The Kohathites must never enter the sanctuary to look at the sacred objects for even a moment, or they will die.”

Lord God my father,
Place on my heart a desire to follow you without compromise, Lord take my desire to modify your desire for me and change me to not question your direction for me. Remove my desire to be in control and help me to blindly follow you.

You will have such a surplus of crops that you will need to clear out the old grain to make room for the new harvest! 11I will live among you, and I will not despise you. 12I will walk among you; I will be your God, and you will be my people.

Lord God,
May I submit to your authority over me and be obedient to you. Lord God, remove my sinful nature to resist your desire for me and follow you blindly to release your Glory in all you have given me to care for.

They kept the man in custody until the lord’s will in the matter should become clear to them.

They are my servants, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt. I am the lord your God.

Lord God,
Help me to hear you, Help me to be quiet and to listen for your guidance. I belong to you and submit to follow your desire. Give me power over my sinful nature and protect me for my desires of this world and reveal your glory in all you have given me.

Confront people directly so you will not be held guilty for their sin.

Lord God,
Bless me and give me courage to live in your truth and stand firm in this fallen world. Allow me to correct with Love any one who falls from your truth. And Lord, hold me accountable for my weakness and may I with your power over come any struggle.

There, too, the whole community of Israel complained about Moses and Aaron.

If you obey my decrees and my regulations, you will find life through them. I am the lord.

Lord God, you made it simple, I make it hard. Lord God, direct my way and give me power over my sinful ways and give me strength to resist this world and only follow you. You give me power over my sin nature, now protect me from the ways that distract me from living a life which is pleasing to you.

and the glory of the lord appeared to the whole community. 24Fire blazed forth from the lord’s presence and consumed the burnt offering and the fat on the altar. When the people saw this, they shouted with joy and fell face down on the ground.

Lord God,
May I please you by living obedient to you today. Remove the distractions and allow me to live by your desire today and release your glory to all I come in contact with this day.

I have filled him with the Spirit of God, giving him great wisdom,

Then Moses told the Levites, “Today you have ordained yourselves for the service of the lord, for you obeyed him even though it meant killing your own sons and brothers. Today you have earned a blessing.”

Lord God, Turn my heart against my way, allow me to release my tendency to blame others for my sin and accept full responsibility for my sn and turn it over to you to destroy. Lord God, purify my heart and turn me towards you and away from this world and help me to shine your glory above any desire I have to shine mine. Give me courage to do the hard things I know I should but don’t. Guide me into revealing your glory in all I do.

Instruct all the skilled craftsmen whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom.

Each day, offer two lambs that are a year old, 39one in the morning and the other in the evening.

Then I will live among the people of Israel and be their God, 46and they will know that I am the lord their God. I am the one who brought them out of the land of Egypt so that I could live among them. I am the lord their God.

Lord God, why is it so hard to believe in your power in my life. Lord God, I see you everywhere in creation but I struggle in allowing you to be Lord over my life. I pray Lord for your pure goodness and grace to overwhelm my own selfish desire and that I my release my own desires and allow you to have your way. Lord God give me strength over my desire with your holy presence as my compass.

17“You must not covet your neighbor’s house. You must not covet your neighbor’s wife, male or female servant, ox or donkey, or anything else that belongs to your neighbor.”

Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it aloud to the people. Again they all responded, “We will do everything the lord has commanded. We will obey.”

Lord God my father,
Soften my heart so it can be reshaped in your image, make my ways apparent to me so I may turn from them and surrender to your way, Lord protect my thoughts and keep the ways of the world away from me so I may only have thoughts that are pleasing to you, Direct my actions so I may delight you.
