a man of complete integrity. He feared God and stayed away from evil.

Then they sat on the ground with him for seven days and nights. No one said a word to Job, for they saw that his suffering was too great for words.

Lord God,
May I be a man of integrity, May my thoughts be pure and my heart focused on you. Lord God, I lift up my children and wife and pray for protection for them, shine your light on them and open their hearts to accept your council. May I support and pray for them from a true loving position, to bring your glory to light in this world of darkness.

6“Why are you so angry?” the lord asked Cain. “Why do you look so dejected? 7You will be accepted if you do what is right. But if you refuse to do what is right, then watch out! Sin is crouching at the door, eager to control you. But you must subdue it and be its master.”

6So the lord was sorry he had ever made them and put them on the earth. It broke his heart.

Lord God,
Make me aware of any anger living in my spirit so I may surrender it to your care, Allow me to love unconditionally and remove my sin nature that creates the anger in me and deliver me from the desires of this world so I may only delight you, not disappoint you.

Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good!

And you will desire to control your husband,
but he will rule over you.

Lord God,
may I see only your good around me, Protect me from seeking this worlds sinful pleasures. Allow me to lead my family with your wisdom and focus. May we delight you in our worship. May I be obedient to you.

Everyone was burned by this blast of heat, and they cursed the name of God, who had control over all these plagues. They did not repent of their sins and turn to God and give him glory.

May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s holy people.

Lord God,
May I only curse the evil which is around me and only give you glory, glory of your love for me, a love that disciplines and makes me aware of the wrong that lives in me. Lord God, have your way with me and purify me so I may live in your glory, not the so called glory of this world. Protect me and keep me under your authority, not the authority of this world.

Love means doing what God has commanded us, and he has commanded us to love one another,

Be diligent so that you receive your full reward.

Lord God,
May I surrender to love others as you love me. Help me to overcome my ways and conditions I place on loving and accept the world as it is and love it as you do.

25Jesus also did many other things. If they were all written down, I suppose the whole world could not contain the books that would be written.

God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all. 6So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth.

But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.

But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true—it is not a lie. So just as he has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ.

Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love.

For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. 5And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

Dear children, keep away from anything that might take God’s place in your hearts.

Lord God,
I confess to you that I am a sinner, I don’t follow you wholeheartedly, I hold back so much of my trust and control. Lord God, open my eyes to see your truth so I may overcome my doubt. protect me from this world and the control I allow it to have on me.

Simon Peter exclaimed, “Then wash my hands and head as well, Lord, not just my feet!”

All who love the truth recognize that what I say is true.”

The energy of your spirit will over come the lack of energy in your body

Lord God,
Help me to understand, open my eyes and heart so I may understand your desire for me. Remove my past and prepare me for a future with you in control. Lord God, may I be made strong in my weakness by surrendering to your will.

Thomas, nicknamed the Twin, said to his fellow disciples, “Let’s go, too—and die with Jesus.”

Then Jesus looked up to heaven and said, “Father, thank you for hearing me. 42You always hear me, but I said it out loud for the sake of all these people standing here, so that they will believe you sent me.”

Lord God,
Help me to remove the Thomas in me and to trust in your will. Lord, replace my will with yours, protect me from my past and present me to the moment I live in with your power and strength. Lord God may I only hear your voice, not this world’s.

“This man Jesus is not from God, for he is working on the Sabbath.”

“I entered this world to render judgment—to give sight to the blind and to show those who think they see that they are blind.”

Why do I doubt, why do I struggle with control, why do I fight so hard to not surrender to the peace He has for me.

Lord, God,
I am weary and broken, I am too stupid to be called a follower and I resist you. Lord I give up, I want to be your son and listen to you as my father. Correct me and put me on the right path and allow me to live in your presence and peace.

The world can’t hate you, but it does hate me because I accuse it of doing evil.

Why can’t you understand what I am saying? It’s because you can’t even hear me!

Lord God,
Open my heart so I may see you and obey you. Lord God, I am a sinner unworthy of knowing you, Lord purify my heart and place your truth around me and protect me from the desire of Satan to destroy my faith and may I delight in serving you and not me.
