Lord God my Father,
I strain to understand, open my heart to your desire so I may understand your way, May I understand and have the strength to live by your plan. I take joy in doing your will but I struggle with my own sinful way. I am poor in spirit and need your help.

Thank you for removing my anger, now help me with my anger, give me patience to not react but to react. The fact that you created me in your image and care for me is amazing. Thank you for this life.
