I returned and gave an honest report, 8but my brothers who went with me frightened the people from entering the Promised Land. For my part,

Lord God my Father,

Help me to be honest with your truth in my ways,

So the Israelites examined their food, but they did not consult the Lord. 15Then Joshua made a peace treaty with them and guaranteed their safety, 

 for the Lord, the God of Israel, was fighting for his people.

Lord God my Father,

Help me to be wise and consult with you in all things. Protect me from the great deceiver and set me in your truth. Keep me out of your work and word thru me.

They offered sacrifices to demons, which are not God,to gods they had not known before,to new gods only recently arrived,to gods their ancestors had never feared.

There has never been another prophet in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face.

If you make the Lord your refuge,if you make the Most High your shelter,10no evil will conquer you;

The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me.I will protect those who trust in my name.

Lord God my Father,

Protect me from the deceiver, Keep me on your path. Allow me to see your truth in the mess of this world. You are my refuge, my peace. Protect my faith.

In Jesus name I pray,

Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! 20You can make this choice by loving the Lord your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. 

Lord God my Father, Help me to choose you and live in your truth.

If you do not serve the Lord your God with joy and enthusiasm for the abundant benefits you have received, 48you will serve your enemies whom the Lord will send against you.

“The Lord our God has secrets known to no one. We are not accountable for them, but we and our children are accountable forever for all that he has revealed to us, so that we may obey all the terms of these instructions.

Lord God my Father,

Remove my grumpy way when things are a struggle. Allow me to overcome with Joy, your Joy in my heart. Give me lips that are slow to speak and ears that listen carefully, allow me to seek you in all things and help me to obey your influence.

 Go and occupy it as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, has promised you. Don’t be afraid! Don’t be discouraged!’

“But I said to you, ‘Don’t be shocked or afraid of them! 30The Lord your God is going ahead of you. He will fight for you, just as you saw him do in Egypt.

He will see this land because he has followed the Lord completely. 

“But King Sihon of Heshbon refused to allow us to pass through, because the Lord your God made Sihon stubborn and defiant so he could help you defeat him, as he has now done.

Lord God my Father,

May I completely trust in your power in my life. Give me courage to defeat my past, cleanse me of any wrong I lived and deliver me to today to do your work.

 the Lord commanded Moses.

they have not obeyed me wholeheartedly. 12The only exceptions are Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite and Joshua son of Nun, for they have wholeheartedly followed the Lord.’

Lord God my Father,

May I take your desire and make it mine, May I obey wholeheartedly and follow you to a place of peace and blessing where you fight my battles. Help me to overcome my past and live now with you.

But Nadab and Abihu died when they burned before the Lord the wrong kind of fire, different than he had commanded.

 Not one of them survived except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.

for you both rebelled against my instructions in the wilderness of Zin. When the people of Israel rebelled, you failed to demonstrate my holiness to them at the waters.”

Lord God my Father,

Thank you for your steadfast love, Help me to release my rebellion and accept your plan for me. Lord make my wisdom come from you and not myself. Help me to allow you complete control over me.

“You must faithfully keep all my commands by putting them into practice, for I am the Lord.

“You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of complete rest, an official day for holy assembly.

 Lord God my Father,

Help me to find power over my weakness to be obedient to you.

Then Balak said to Balaam, “Fine, but if you won’t curse them, at least don’t bless them!”26But Balaam replied to Balak, “Didn’t I tell you that I can do only what the Lord tells me?”

“Alas, who can survive unless God has willed it?

Lord God my Father,

I ask you to bring truth to me and close my eyes to the deceit of this world. I pray Lord for your truth to be all I see.
