Plant your seed in the morning and keep busy all afternoon, for you don’t know if profit will come from one activity or another—or maybe both.
Don’t let the excitement of youth cause you to forget your Creator. Honor him in your youth before you grow old and say, “Life is not pleasant anymore.”
Lord God my Father,
May I be diligent in doing your work, eager to start and determined to finish. May we delight in doing it together.

Better to be criticized by a wise person
than to be praised by a fool.
Extortion turns wise people into fools,
and bribes corrupt the heart.
Finishing is better than starting.
Patience is better than pride.
Accept the way God does things,
for who can straighten what he has made crooked?
So I recommend having fun, because there is nothing better for people in this world than to eat, drink, and enjoy life. That way they will experience some happiness along with all the hard work God gives them under the sun.
Better to hear the quiet words of a wise person
than the shouts of a foolish king.
18Better to have wisdom than weapons of war,
but one sinner can destroy much that is good.
Lord God my Father,
May I only have a heart for you, this world is so full of confusion and selfishness. May I be delivered to your peace and speak from your heart, may I finish your work in my life. May we delight together in this place at peace in your control.

God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy to those who please him.
So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can. 13And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labor, for these are gifts from God.
Lord God my father,
Who but you can I rely on, I disappoint myself as well as others. My Joy comes from seeking you. My purpose is the purpose you gave me, may I submit to you this day and bring you Glory. Then I will be happy.

Your throne continues from generation to generation.
20Why do you continue to forget us?
Why have you abandoned us for so long?
21Restore us, O Lord, and bring us back to you again!
Give us back the joys we once had!

I seem to change everyday, Thank you for your constant reputation. Forgive me of my past and deliver me to your blessed present. Make me clean in mind and spirit, May we delight together in the matters of today.

for I have rebelled against you.
Lord God my Father,
I don’t deserve your forgiveness but you give it to me anyway. Lord help me to accept your forgiveness so you may restore me to wholeness. May I follow your desire from now on.

When Naomi saw that Ruth was determined to go with her, she said nothing more.
Ruth fell at his feet and thanked him warmly. “What have I done to deserve such kindness?
For he is the son of your daughter-in-law who loves you and has been better to you than seven sons!”
Lord God my Father,
May I have the love and loyalty of Ruth. May I cling to you and devote my all to your desire. I wish to experience life under your authority alone and serve you wholeheartedly. Remove my selfish desire, may I surrender it all to your service.

Such, O women of Jerusalem,
is my lover, my friend.
Oh, how beautiful you are!
How pleasing, my love, how full of delights!
Lord God my Father,
May I live to be desirable to you in all ways. May your way alive in me draw others to you. Remove my ugly way, my spiteful, resentful way and replace it with your beauty. May I simply be made delightful by my surrender to you.

5The Almighty was still with me,
Lord God my Father,
Prepare my heart for your wisdom, protect me from the ways of the world. May I live in delight of your way and not the ways of the world. Protect my eyes, thoughts and actions from the sinful ways of my past and deliver me to a new beginning in you.

No, he would give me a fair hearing.
7Honest people can reason with him,
so I would be forever acquitted by my judge.
Lord God my Father,
Hold me accountable for my thoughts, guide me to your way, make my heart long for your truth.
