“If he shows himself to be worthy, not a hair of his head will fall to the ground; but if evil is found in him, he will die.” 

But on David and his descendants, his house and his throne, may there be the Lord’s peace forever.”

Lord God my Father,

Help me to be worthy under your direction. Give me a heart that see’s deceit and stays in your desire. Allow your Peace to be my guide.

I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me. 2But I have calmed and quieted myself,

Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life. 9Rescue me from my enemies, Lord, for I hide myself in you. 10Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.

Lord God my Father,

I trust in your perfect plan, help me to follow it your way and keep me from trying to understand you so I may improve your plan. Allow rest to be my guide and peace me my strength, trusting in your desire living in me.

Give us aid against the enemy, for human help is worthless. 13With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.

Help me, Lord my God; save me according to your unfailing love. 27Let them know that it is your hand, that you, Lord, have done it.

Lord God my Father,

You are my provider and protector, protect me from attack and make your peace at home within me. Only with you will I thrive and delight in my daily task. Save me from the darkness, keep me overwhelmed in your light and let all know that you are with me.

When David saw the angel who was striking down the people, he said to the Lord, “I have sinned; I, the shepherd, have done wrong. These are but sheep. What have they done? Let your hand fall on me and my family.”

But the king replied to Araunah, “No, I insist on paying you for it. I will not sacrifice to the Lord my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing.”

Satan rose up against Israel and incited David to take a census of Israel. 2So David said to Joab and the commanders of the troops, “Go and count the Israelites from Beersheba to Dan. 

Now devote your heart and soul to seeking the Lord your God.

Lord God my Father,

Help me to see as you see and have faith in you alone. Keep me from my selfish desires and calm my soul.

For forty years I was angry with that generation; I said, ‘They are a people whose hearts go astray, and they have not known my ways.’

He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples with equity.

Exalt the Lord our God and worship at his holy mountain, for the Lord our God is holy.

Lord God my Father,

Keep my thoughts close to your way so I may only please you. Thank you for your way and your forgiveness, help me to represent you well and draw others to the relationship you desire.

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.

You, Lord, will keep the needy safe and will protect us forever from the wicked, 8who freely strut about when what is vile is honored by the human race.

Lord God my Father,

You are my quiet place that restores my soul and protects me from the attack of darkness. Lord give me discernment to share you and not me in all relationships, I will destroy, you restore.

But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.

Lord God my Father,

I delight in your presence, help me to be one who allows you to delight in me because of my delightful heart. Use your power in me to draw the lost to you so we may all rejoice together in your presence.

During the reign of David, there was a famine for three successive years; so David sought the face of the Lord. The Lord said, “It is on account of Saul and his blood-stained house; it is because he put the Gibeonites to death.”

Lord God my Father,

Prepare me for the struggles ahead and give me wisdom on how to proceed and ponder to allow your wisdom to find me and your strength to carry me through. Remove the past darkness I have experienced from having influence on today and may your Glory only be on my mind.

but my ears you have opened

I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart.”

But as for me, I am poor and needy; may the Lord think of me. You are my help and my deliverer; you are my God, do not delay.

But God will shoot them with his arrows; they will suddenly be struck down. 8He will turn their own tongues against them and bring them to ruin;

Lord God my Father,

Do allow your Peace to open my spirit to join you in your will. I only want to live as you desire and share you with all in my path. I am nothing alone and without strength, allow your strength to rest on me as you desire and do it now. Destroy all who desire to drain you from my life and bring a humble spirit on all.

It may be that the Lord will look upon my misery and restore to me his covenant blessing instead of his curse today.”

Lord God my Father,

Use my struggles to reveal your plan and sharpen my faith. Grant me wisdom when I stumble and help me to allow your strength to be mine, I need it.
