“Why is the Lord taking us to this country only to have us die in battle? Our wives and our little ones will be carried off as plunder! Wouldn’t it be better for us to return to Egypt?” 4Then they plotted among themselves, “Let’s choose a new leader and go back to Egypt!”

 They are only helpless prey to us! They have no protection, but the Lord is with us! Don’t be afraid of them!”10But the whole community began to talk about stoning Joshua and Caleb.

And the Lord said to Moses, “How long will these people treat me with contempt? Will they never believe me, even after all the miraculous signs I have done among them?

Then the Lord said, “I will pardon them as you have requested. 

“Let’s go,” they said. “We realize that we have sinned, but now we are ready to enter the land the Lord has promised us.”41But Moses said, “Why are you now disobeying the Lord’s orders to return to the wilderness? It won’t work.

 following your own desires and defiling yourselves, as you are prone to do.

Lord God my Father,

Be with me and help me to trust in you completely. I know the truth, I see you all around me but I struggle for control in areas you need to have access to. Release me from my bondage, bondage of this world and allow me to delight in your presence completely.

But now our appetites are gone. All we ever see is this manna!

And Moses said to the Lord, “Why are you treating me, your servant, so harshly? Have mercy on me! What did I do to deserve the burden of all these people?

I can’t carry all these people by myself! The load is far too heavy! 15If this is how you intend to treat me, just go ahead and kill me.

You will eat it for a whole month until you gag and are sick of it. For you have rejected the Lord, who is here among you, and you have whined to him, saying, “Why did we ever leave Egypt?”’

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Has my arm lost its power? 

But Moses replied, “Are you jealous for my sake? I wish that all the Lord’s people were prophets and that theLord would put his Spirit upon them all!”

Of all my house, he is the one I trust.8I speak to him face to face,clearly, and not in riddles!He sees the Lord as he is.

“Let’s go at once to take the land,” he said. “We can certainly conquer it!”

Lord God my Father,

May I be humble like Moses and strong with you alone. Give me your burden for my desire and help me to constantly focus on you. Help me to use your power to transform me into who you created me to be and give me power to surrender my charter defects to your care. Give me urgent desire to do your will in my life.

His offering consisted of a silver platter weighing 31/4 pounds and a silver basin weighing 13/4 pounds (as measured by the weight of the sanctuary shekel). These were both filled with grain offerings of choice flour moistened with olive oil. 50He also brought a gold container weighing four ounces, which was filled with incense. 51He brought a young bull, a ram, and a one-year-old male lamb for a burnt offering, 52and a male goat for a sin offering. 53For a peace offering he brought two bulls, five rams, five male goats, and five one-year-old male lambs

This was the Lord’s reply to Moses.

they will suffer the consequences of their guilt. 

“Arise, O Lord, and let your enemies be scattered! Let them flee before you!”

Lord God my Father,

May I give proper sacrifice to you as you require. Speak to me, guide me and protect me from distraction. Forgive my past and remove my guilt, Destroy the enemy, cause them to flee from my presence.

All the men between thirty and fifty years of age who were eligible for service in the Tabernacle and for its transportation 48numbered 8,580. 
each man was assigned his task and told what to carry.

I have a task assigned by God. Lord God, help me to resist anything that distracts me from your task.

So the people of Israel did everything as the Lord had commanded Moses. Each clan and family set up camp and marched under their banners exactly as the Lord had instructed them.

Lord God my Father,

Thank you for your detailed instruction for living in abundance. Help me to identify areas of my life to bring under your authority.

In Jesus name I pray,

“If you want to live securely in the land, follow my decrees and obey my regulations. 19Then the land will yield large crops, and you will eat your fill and live securely in it.

The land must never be sold on a permanent basis, for the land belongs to me. You are only foreigners and tenant farmers working for me.

I will live among you, and I will not despise you. 12I will walk among you; I will be your God, and you will be my people.

You may not pick and choose between good and bad animals, and you may not substitute one for another. But if you do exchange one animal for another, then both the original animal and its substitute will be considered holy and cannot be bought back.”

Lord God my Father,

I wish to live with you not against you. Purify my heart from my youthful way and place me in the present where you are in complete control. May I please you with my thoughts and actions.

 the death of Aaron’s two sons, who died after they entered the Lord’s presence and burned the wrong kind of fire before him. 

Lord God my Father,

“This is how you will guard the people of Israel from ceremonial uncleanness. Otherwise they would die, for their impurity would defile my Tabernacle that stands among them.

Lord God my Father,

You have spelled out how to live with detail. Lord God I pray you will give me strength to follow your plan, I am resistant and wish to be obedient now but my past keeps calling. Protect me.

“These are the instructions for dealing with mildew that contaminates woolen or linen clothing or fabric or anything made of leather. This is how the priest will determine whether these items are ceremonially clean or unclean.”

Lord God my Father,

You have such detailed instructions for proper living. Thank you for the instructions. I wish to live by your desire alone.

Fire blazed forth from the Lord’s presence and consumed the burnt offering and the fat on the altar. When the people saw this, they shouted with joy and fell face down on the ground.

Lord God my Father,

I pray to you to bring me closer to living in your will. I am suborn and weak and I need your power to change. Your grace is amazing and I wish to live closer to how you created me to live.
