Single purpose desire

So be careful to obey them wholeheartedly. 17You have declared today that the Lord is your God. And you have promised to walk in his ways,

Lord God my Father,
Guard my heart and keep me holey in your presence, guide me this day to do your work with focus and excitement what ever it is and may I please you above any desire of my own.

In Jesus name I pray,
Amen

To fight His fight and enjoy His victory in my life.

Anyone arrogant enough to reject the verdict of the judge or of the priest who represents the Lord your God must die. In this way you will purge the evil from Israel. 13Then everyone else will hear about it and be afraid to act so arrogantly.

“When you go out to fight your enemies and you face horses and chariots and an army greater than your own, do not be afraid. The Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, is with you!

For the Lord your God is going with you! He will fight for you against your enemies, and he will give you victory!’

You may enjoy the plunder from your enemies that the Lord your God has given you.

Lord God my Father,
Identify my enemies to me so I may not accept them, Identify your desire to me so I may wholeheartedly follow it. Lord God, place me in the battle you desire for me and give me the faith to carry out your message, May I enjoy the plunder of your battle and trust you in all things.

In Jesus name,
Amen

Living His plan.

If you obey, you will enjoy a long life in the land the Lord swore to give to your ancestors and to you,

“Look, today I am giving you the choice between a blessing and a curse! 27You will be blessed if you obey the commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you today. 28But you will be cursed if you reject the commands of the Lord your God and turn away from him and worship gods you have not known before.

Lord God my Father,
I have been a hard headed child of yours wanting to do life my way. Lord God, forgive me of my arrogance and deliver me into your peaceful desire for me. Give me strength to deal with the struggles of life delighted that you join me in all things. Keep me from turning away from you. May I live blessed in the life you wish for me.

In Jesus name,
Amen

Truly obedient to Him

Yes, he humbled you by letting you go hungry and then feeding you with manna, a food previously unknown to you

For when you have become full and prosperous and have built fine homes to live in, 13and when your flocks and herds have become very large and your silver and gold have multiplied along with everything else, be careful!

You must recognize that the Lord your God is not giving you this good land because you are good, for you are not—you are a stubborn people.

’ But you rebelled against the command of the Lord your God and refused to put your trust in him or obey him.

But they are your people and your special possession, whom you brought out of Egypt by your great strength and powerful arm.’

And once again the Lord listened to my pleas and agreed not to destroy you.

what does the Lord your God require of you? He requires only that you fear the Lord your God, and live in a way that pleases him, and love him and serve him with all your heart and soul. 13And you must always obey the Lord’s commands and decrees

Lord God my Father,
You have a plan for me, You cause things to happen in my life to humble and strengthen me if I am willing to see it. Lord God, Make me willing, open my heart to your plan and protect me from my own desires. May I only have a heart that seeks you and your desire alone. May I live only to follow you in all things. May I be obedient and understand what that means.

In Jesus name I pray,
Amen

The Privilege of Holiness

But from there you will search again for the Lord your God. And if you search for him with all your heart and soul, you will find him.

He drove out nations far greater than you, so he could bring you in and give you their land as your special possession, as it is today.

Stay on the path that the Lord your God has commanded you to follow. Then you will live long and prosperous lives in the land you are about to enter and occupy.

So much more, if I trust.

Go and occupy it as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, has promised you. Don’t be afraid! Don’t be discouraged!’

That’s why he has brought us here from Egypt—to hand us over to the Amorites to be slaughtered.

“The people of the land are taller and more powerful than we are, and their towns are large, with walls rising high into the sky! We even saw giants there

“But I said to you, ‘Don’t be shocked or afraid of them! 30The Lord your God is going ahead of you. He will fight for you, just as you saw him do in Egypt.

“But even after all he did, you refused to trust the Lord your God,

except Caleb son of Jephunneh. He will see this land because he has followed the Lord completely.

Lord God my Father,
May I have doubtless faith in your ability to do your work thru me. Keep me from doubt and distraction due to my ways and give you complete control over my desires. Lord God you have so much more Blessing to use thru me than I could ever understand, help me to not be afraid of what I see in front of me but to see past it to your Glory. May I trust you in all things.

In Jesus name I pray,
Amen

Fully sold out to the Lord

as a reminder to the Lord that the people of Israel belong to him.

The only exceptions are Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite and Joshua son of Nun, for they have wholeheartedly followed the Lord.’

Lord God my Father,
May I have you ever-present in my thoughts, may I live fully dedicated to your will above my own. You are the answer to everything in life.

In Jesus name,
Amen

Eyes only on the Lord

And the Lord replied to Moses, 7“The claim of the daughters of Zelophehad is legitimate.

Lord God,
May I have faith strong enough to plea with you and have you consider that plea. Lord God, I ask you to lead me into a relationship with you where we do this life together. My eyes only open to your will.

In Jesus name,
Amen

Eye’s open living

“Why have you brought us out of Egypt to die here in the wilderness?” they complained. “There is nothing to eat here and nothing to drink. And we hate this horrible manna!”

We have sinned by speaking against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take away the snakes.” So Moses prayed for the people.

“Do not be afraid of him, for I have handed him over to you, along with all his people and his land. Do the same to him as you did to King Sihon of the Amorites, who ruled in Heshbon.”

Then the Lord opened Balaam’s eyes, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the roadway with a drawn sword in his hand.

“Look, I have come to block your way because you are stubbornly resisting me.

But Balaam replied to Balak, “Didn’t I tell you that I can do only what the Lord tells me?”

“This is the message of Balaam son of Beor,
the message of the man whose eyes see clearly,
4the message of one who hears the words of God,
who sees a vision from the Almighty,
who bows down with eyes wide open:

“Alas, who can survive
unless God has willed it?

Lord God my Father,
Protect me from my weary heart, keep me strong and not weak in spirit. Place on me a obedient heart that follows you will within me and rejects my own way. Remove any fear I may have in doing your will. Open my eyes for the opportunities to serve you place around me, especially within my family. Help me to surrender to your desire for my actions today. May my actions bring you glory and fight the battles before me for I follow your will.

In Jesus name,
Amen
