In fact, the Lord made David victorious wherever he went.
So David reigned over all Israel and did what was just and right for all his people.
“Is anyone still alive from Saul’s family? If so, I want to show God’s kindness to them.”
Lord God my Father,
May I be humble in your service. I am weak on my own and need your guidance and power to overcome my flawed way. Lord I wish to be your servant today.

So he brought his people out of Egypt with joy,his chosen ones with rejoicing.44He gave his people the lands of pagan nations,and they harvested crops that others had planted.45All this happened so they would follow his decreesand obey his instructions.Praise the Lord!
If your descendants obey the terms of my covenantand the laws that I teach them,then your royal linewill continue forever and ever.”
Lord God my Father,
May I enter all the challenges of this day with your Joy in my heart, trusting your path and not struggling to control you or have my way. I only wish to reap your crops this day and plant the seeds you provide for the future.

Oh, the joys of those who do notfollow the advice of the wicked,or stand around with sinners,or join in with mockers.2But they delight in the law of the Lord,meditating on it day and night.
Lord God my Father,
Protect me from wicked from within and around me. Purify me and make me holy in your name. May I delight in your way.

0Then the Lord’s anger was aroused against Uzzah, and he struck him dead because he had laid his hand on the Ark. So Uzzah died there in the presence of God.11David was angry because the Lord’s anger had burst out against Uzzah. He named that place Perez-uzzah (which means “to burst out against Uzzah”), as it is still called today.
Because you Levites did not carry the Ark the first time, the anger of the Lord our God burst out against us. We failed to ask God how to move it properly.”
Lord God my Father,
Help me to understand your way, a way without compromise. Help me to release my way of thinking so the way you designed me to think will prevail. Help me to follow your way.

And there the Lord has pronounced his blessing,even life everlasting.

And David became more and more powerful, because the Lord of Heaven’s Armies was with him.
“We are yours, David!We are on your side, son of Jesse.Peace and prosperity be with you,and success to all who help you,for your God is the one who helps you.”
There was great joy throughout the land of Israel.
Lord God my Father,
May I become great because you are with me. May I only bring glory to you in all you do thru me. May I release the Joy within me so the world see’s you thru me.

Let all that I am praise the Lord;with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name.
He has removed our sins as far from usas the east is from the west.
I will sing to the Lord as long as I live.I will praise my God to my last breath!34May all my thoughts be pleasing to him,for I rejoice in the Lord.

May I be overflowing with praise, cleanse me and remove the darkness. Protect my thoughts and help me stay on your path.

So Saul died because he was unfaithful to the Lord. He failed to obey the Lord’s command, and he even consulted a medium 14instead of asking the Lord for guidance. So the Lord killed him and turned the kingdom over to David son of Jesse.
Lord God my Father,
May I be faithful to you. Lord I ask you reveal the false beliefs I hold onto and give me your power to overcome them and set all my will on your truth. Help me to only listen to you and block Satan’s influence.

It is good to give thanks to the Lord,to sing praises to the Most High.2It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning,your faithfulness in the evening,

I am so grateful for your way. You show me such beauty in the morning sun till the night sky overwhelms me. You are beyond my ability to understand and yes you choose to bless me. Thank you lord for this life.

A psalm of Asaph.1Truly God is good to Israel,to those whose hearts are pure.2But as for me, I almost lost my footing.My feet were slipping, and I was almost gone.3For I envied the proudwhen I saw them prosper despite their wickedness.4They seem to live such painless lives;their bodies are so healthy and strong.5They don’t have troubles like other people;they’re not plagued with problems like everyone else.6They wear pride like a jeweled necklaceand clothe themselves with cruelty.7These fat cats have everythingtheir hearts could ever wish for!8They scoff and speak only evil;in their pride they seek to crush others.9They boast against the very heavens,and their words strut throughout the earth.10And so the people are dismayed and confused,drinking in all their words.11“What does God know?” they ask.“Does the Most High even know what’s happening?”12Look at these wicked people—enjoying a life of ease while their riches multiply.13Did I keep my heart pure for nothing?Did I keep myself innocent for no reason?14I get nothing but trouble all day long;every morning brings me pain.15If I had really spoken this way to others,I would have been a traitor to your people.16So I tried to understand why the wicked prosper.But what a difficult task it is!17Then I went into your sanctuary, O God,and I finally understood the destiny of the wicked.18Truly, you put them on a slippery pathand send them sliding over the cliff to destruction.19In an instant they are destroyed,completely swept away by terrors.20When you arise, O Lord,you will laugh at their silly ideasas a person laughs at dreams in the morning.21Then I realized that my heart was bitter,and I was all torn up inside.22I was so foolish and ignorant—I must have seemed like a senseless animal to you.23Yet I still belong to you;you hold my right hand.24You guide me with your counsel,leading me to a glorious destiny.25Whom have I in heaven but you?I desire you more than anything on earth.26My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak,but God remains the strength of my heart;he is mine forever.27Those who desert him will perish,for you destroy those who abandon you.28But as for me, how good it is to be near God!I have made the Sovereign Lord my shelter,and I will tell everyone about the wonderful things you do.
Then they remembered that God was their rock,that God Most High78:35 Hebrew El-Elyon. was their redeemer.36But all they gave him was lip service;they lied to him with their tongues.37Their hearts were not loyal to him.They did not keep his covenant.
Lord God my Father,
Help me to keep my gaze on you and not even look at the world. Allow your truth to flow thru me and use me to do your will so I may witness your power to those around me bringing them under your authority as well.
