But they are deeply guilty,
for their own strength is their god.”

“Look at the proud!
They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked.
But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God.

Give me a humble heart, guide me to get my strength from you.

As they plot their crimes, they say,
“We have devised the perfect plan!”
Yes, the human heart and mind are cunning.
7But God himself will shoot them with his arrows,
suddenly striking them down.
8Their own tongues will ruin them,
and all who see them will shake their heads in scorn.

Lord God my Father,
May your truth rest on my heart and protect me from the evil in this place. Strike down the enemy that places their truth in lies.

I listen carefully to what God the Lord is saying,
for he speaks peace to his faithful people.
But let them not return to their foolish ways.
9Surely his salvation is near to those who fear him,
so our land will be filled with his glory.

Unfailing love and truth have met together.
Righteousness and peace have kissed!
11Truth springs up from the earth,
and righteousness smiles down from heaven.

Lord God my Father,
May my ears be open to hear only from you. Protect me from my way and restore me to the path you created me to be on. May your Love and Truth my on my heart always.

the breath of the Almighty within them,
that makes them intelligent.

I must speak to find relief,
so let me give my answers.
21I won’t play favorites
or try to flatter anyone.
22For if I tried flattery,
my Creator would soon destroy me.

Do you know the laws of the universe?
Can you use them to regulate the earth?

Lord God my Father,
Bring your spirit on me and allow me to hear your truth above the voices of the lairs. Remove my arrogance so I may only hear your spirit in me, not my own. Allow your truth to well up within me and bring your wisdom to my actions. Allow me to live withing your wisdom for I am too stupid to be human on my own.

To enjoy your work and accept your lot in life—this is indeed a gift from God. 20God keeps such people so busy enjoying life that they take no time to brood over the past.

The more words you speak, the less they mean. So what good are they?

Lord God my Father,
May I accept your plan without hesitation and live this day for your glory over mime. May I stop talking and may my actions speak volumes for your glory.

Lord God my Father,

Why is it so easy to worship false gods when you are so great. Remove the distraction from my thoughts and help me to stay focused on only you.

The Lord has spoken,and he will do these things.13“The time will come,” says the Lord,“when the grain and grapes will grow fasterthan they can be harvested.

Lord God my Father,

Restore me to the life you created me to have, remove my poor decisions from the past in my life today. Grant me your strength to live for you.

Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures.

“Mary!” Jesus said.

“Simon son of John, do you love me?”

Lord God my Father,

I want to understand you, open my mind to your truth and protect me from deceit. May I hear your voice call my name. My desire is to love and follow you with all my heart.

In Jesus name I pray,

And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

And the disciples went everywhere and preached, and the Lord worked through them, confirming what they said by many miraculous signs.

Lord God my Father,

You are with me, why do I falter. Allow me to believe in your power above my own, allow me to do you will as you want me to without hesitation.
