Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you your heart’s desires.
5Commit everything you do to the Lord.
Trust him, and he will help you.

I am on the verge of collapse,
facing constant pain.
18But I confess my sins;
I am deeply sorry for what I have done.

Lord God my Father,
May I find delight in you above all other things, may you satisfy me alone. Take from me the things that are not of you, bring peace to my soul. I confess I am a sinner and I need deliverance from my ways.

When I refused to confess my sin,
my body wasted away,
and I groaned all day long.
4Day and night your hand of discipline was heavy on me.

and stopped trying to hide my guilt.

Lord God my Father,
You know my heart better than I do. Help me to see the areas I keep from you so you can heal me. Give me power over my own arrogance and deliver me to a state of truth.

The one thing I ask of the Lord—
the thing I seek most—
is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
delighting in the Lord’s perfections
and meditating in his Temple.
5For he will conceal me there when troubles come;
he will hide me in his sanctuary.

Lord God, I am surrounded, the enemy is all around me. Protect and be with me so I may delight in your power in all things. Hide me from the distractions that waste my day.

How the king rejoices in your strength, O Lord!
He shouts with joy because you give him victory.
2For you have given him his heart’s desire;
you have withheld nothing he requested.

Lead me by your truth and teach me,
for you are the God who saves me.
All day long I put my hope in you.

Lord God my Father,
May I only desire what is from you, remove the compromise from my spirit. Help me walk only on your path, my fate in in you.

He led me to a place of safety;
he rescued me because he delights in me.

To the faithful you show yourself faithful;
to those with integrity you show integrity.
26To the pure you show yourself pure,
but to the crooked you show yourself shrewd.

Lord God my Father,
Sharpen me and make me more focused on doing your will. Remove my selfish way, keep me moving forward without delay.

Those who know your name trust in you,
for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you.

For the righteous Lord loves justice.
The virtuous will see his face.

Lord God my Father,
I wish to seek you non stop, remove distractions from my path. May I reflect your presence to the wicked around me and bring them closer to you.

Don’t sin by letting anger control you.
Think about it overnight and remain silent.

what are mere mortals that you should think about them,
human beings that you should care for them?
5Yet you made them only a little lower than God8:5a Or Yet you made them only a little lower than the angels; Hebrew reads Yet you made him [i.e., man] a little lower than Elohim.
and crowned them with glory and honor.

Lord God my Father,
Thank you for removing my anger, now help me with my anger, give me patience to not react but to react. The fact that you created me in your image and care for me is amazing. Thank you for this life.

Think of it! Animals that are stolen and crippled and sick are being presented as offerings!

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!

Lord God,
Cleanse my heart, purify my soul. I want to give you my best but I struggle with my selfish nature. Purify my thoughts and help me let go of my ways and surrender to your ways. May I trust you in all things.

Tell the truth to each other. Render verdicts in your courts that are just and that lead to peace. 17Don’t scheme against each other. Stop your love of telling lies that you swear are the truth. I hate all these things, says the Lord.”

Lord God my Father,
Give me a heart only for you, keep me in your truth, protect me from the desires of this world. I am weak without you and on my own I will fall. May I do only what you wish.

The Sovereign Lord is my strength!
He makes me as surefooted as a deer,3:19 Or He gives me the speed of a deer.
able to tread upon the heights.

I was only a little angry with my people, but the nations inflicted harm on them far beyond my intentions.

Lord God my Father,
You are my strength, my guide. Guide my life and give me your motivation to serve this world for you. Take my past from me, deliver me to a shameless, fearless present where I completely rely on you. Soften the hearts of those around me so your peace may rest on them.
