they hired Balaam to curse them, though our God turned the curse into a blessing
I immediately confronted the leaders and demanded, “Why has the Temple of God been neglected?
Lord God my Father,
With your power alive in me, help me to turn all my disobedience to your obedience, be with me as I restore your temple and treasures you have trusted me with back to your glory.
In Jesus name I pray,

They swore a curse on themselves if they failed to obey the Law of God as issued by his servant Moses. They solemnly promised to carefully follow all the commands, regulations, and decrees of the Lord our Lord:
“We promise together not to neglect the Temple of our God.”
Lord God my Father,
Take the weakness to not follow you wholeheartedly from me and allow all my will and energy to be focused on you and your kingdom.
Your will be done in all things not just the ones I find easy.

celebrate with great joy because they had heard God’s words and understood them.
You led our ancestors by a pillar of cloud during the day and a pillar of fire at night so that they could find their way.
But you are a God of forgiveness, gracious and merciful, slow to become angry, and rich in unfailing love.
Yet whenever your people turned and cried to you again for help, you listened once more from heaven. In your wonderful mercy, you rescued them many times!
You gave them a large, fertile land, but they refused to turn from their wickedness.
Lord God my Father,
My heart is overjoyed and broken, Your spirit in me overwhelms me with your Joy and Peace yet I take my eyes off of you and fail to temptation time and time again. Lord God, deliver me from the weakness I have allowed to distract me from your desire. You are so forgiving that I take advantage of that fact. Lord God I am sick of life my way, may I surrender my all to live in your desire. Deliver me to a life of your peace and purpose where all my desire comes from you and I can live in freedom.

“Hear us, our God, for we are being mocked. May their scoffing fall back on their own heads, and may they themselves become captives in a foreign land!
When you hear the blast of the trumpet, rush to wherever it is sounding. Then our God will fight for us!”
I realized that God had not spoken to him, but that he had uttered this prophecy against me because Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him.
When our enemies and the surrounding nations heard about it, they were frightened and humiliated. They realized this work had been done with the help of our God.
Lord God my Father,
Hear my cry, fight the battle I have in me to do your will wholeheartedly. Give me victory over my sinful way, deliver me to delightful service free from the lies of the enemy. May I release your glory that is waiting to shine in my life.

“O Lord, God of heaven, the great and awesome God who keeps his covenant of unfailing love with those who love him and obey his commands, 6listen to my prayer! Look down and see me praying
O Lord, please hear my prayer! Listen to the prayers of those of us who delight in honoring you.
Lord God my Father,
I need your help to rid myself of the ways I live that distract me from your desire for me. Listen to my prayer and reveal to me and restore me to your plan you created me to follow. I am too stupid to do this on my own, you are the only way I can thrive and live in your glory, doing what your require.

So we fasted and earnestly prayed that our God would take care of us, and he heard our prayer.
And the gracious hand of our God protected us and saved us from enemies and bandits along the way.
For once again we have abandoned your commands!
Get up, for it is your duty to tell us how to proceed in setting things straight. We are behind you, so be strong and take action.”
Lord God my Father,
May I earnestly pursue you, may I believe I can be used for your kingdom, may my worth come from you, remove my doubt. Protect me from my own weakness, allow me to hear your commands and follow you. Transform me to a man of action.
Then God stirred the hearts
Then the local residents tried to discourage and frighten the people of Judah to keep them from their work. 5They bribed agents to work against them and to frustrate their plans.
the king gave him everything he asked for, because the gracious hand of the Lord his God was on him.
Praise the Lord, the God of our ancestors, who made the king want to beautify the Temple of the Lord in Jerusalem!
I felt encouraged because the gracious hand of the Lord my God was on me.
Lord God my Father,
Stir in my heart your desire, protect me from the lies in my thoughts that distract me from doing your will at all times. Allow me to live in your grace and surround me with your people and encourage me to move forward in cleansing your servant and restoring me to service for your kingdom.
In Jesus name I pray,

“At that time Michael, the archangel12:1 Hebrew the great prince. who stands guard over your nation, will arise.
Many will be purified, cleansed, and refined by these trials. But the wicked will continue in their wickedness, and none of them will understand. Only those who are wise will know what it means.
Lord God my Father,
Make me sensitive to the spirit you are, allow me to join in prayer to bring your truth to the world. Cleanse me from my way and deliver me to the way you would have me.

“Lord, you are in the right; but as you see, our faces are covered with shame. This is true of all of us,
“O Lord, hear. O Lord, forgive. O Lord, listen and act! For your own sake, do not delay, O my God, for your people and your city bear your name.”
for you are very precious to God.
Then he said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven.
He replied, “Do you know why I have come? Soon I must return to fight against the spirit prince of the kingdom
Lord God my Father,
You are truth, that is all you can be. Remove in me the beliefs that are not of you and allow my prayers to strengthen the angles who fight the spirit war for your truth. May I be strengthened with your truth and overcome the weakness I have brought on myself. May your victory be swift.
In Jesus name I pray,

The army of heaven was restrained from responding to this rebellion. So the daily sacrifice was halted, and truth was overthrown.
Lord God my father,
Make me aware of the rebellion and resist being a part of it, Keep my protected in your power and love.
