Let my accuser write out the charges against me.36I would face the accusation proudly.I would wear it like a crown.37For I would tell him exactly what I have done.I would come before him like a prince.
Lord God my Father,
Bring me a spirit of confidence based on your truth in my life, separate me from my sinful nature and restore me to your original plan. I surrender my past to your care, be with me now and guide me in your way.

while I have breath from God,4my lips will speak no evil,and my tongue will speak no lies.5I will never concede that you are right;I will defend my integrity until I die.6I will maintain my innocence without wavering.My conscience is clear for as long as I live.

Lord God my Father,
Give me the heart of Job where I only have praise and trust in you alone. You are my creator and know my path better than me, help me to follow your path without hesitation, may I only please you.

While listening to Job defend himself to his friends I learn that I don’t have nearly the same confidence in my faith and walk as Job does. I need to remove doubt and surrender my will to have this kind of faith, a faith protected from Satan’s deception. Single minded faith under God’s authority.
Lord God my father,
Restore my faith to be as you designed it to be. Protect me from deception and give me a peace that only you know.

“He uncovers mysteries hidden in darkness;he brings light to the deepest gloom.
God might kill me, but I have no other hope. I am going to argue my case with him.16But this is what will save me—I am not godless.If I were, I could not stand before him.
Tell me, what have I done wrong?Show me my rebellion and my sin.24Why do you turn away from me?Why do you treat me as your enemy?25Would you terrify a leaf blown by the wind?Would you chase dry straw?
Lord God my Father,
Open me up, show me my secrets I am avoiding, restore me to your great design. Give me the ability to live with you completely in the moment forgetting the poor decisions of my past. Unbind me from myself.

For God is so wise and so mighty.Who has ever challenged him successfully?
“God is not a mortal like me,so I cannot argue with him or take him to trial.33If only there were a mediator between us,someone who could bring us together.34The mediator could make God stop beating me,and I would no longer live in terror of his punishment.35Then I could speak to him without fear,
Lord God my Father,
I submit to your authority, Take doubt from me, Take my desire to understand and follow you completely. Help me to live life without question on your desire and just do what you ask of me.

Job would purify his children. He would get up early in the morning and offer a burnt offering for each of them. For Job said to himself, “Perhaps my children have sinned and have cursed God in their hearts.” This was Job’s regular practice.
“I came naked from my mother’s womb,and I will be naked when I leave.The Lord gave me what I had,and the Lord has taken it away.Praise the name of the Lord!”
Should we accept only good things from the hand of God and never anything bad?” So in all this, Job said nothing wrong.
Then they sat on the ground with him for seven days and nights. No one said a word to Job, for they saw that his suffering was too great for words.
Lord God my Father,
Bless my children and wife, open their eyes to your truth and give them a heart to serve you above all things. Multiply the gifts you give them and give them skill to use them for your Glory. Use me as your messenger to bring your glory to them, free me from myself.

“Look, I am about to die, but God will be with you
But Joseph replied, “Don’t be afraid of me. Am I God, that I can punish you? 20You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good.
Lord God my father,
You are with me so why do I wander, keep me on the path you created me for and help me to submit to your plan completely so your glory will be released from the poor decisions I place on it.

“Joseph is still alive!” they told him. “And he is governor of all the land of Egypt!”
Lord God my Father,
From what I see as a loss you mean for gain. Give me your wisdom to endure with your joy in my heart to the point I see your plan unfold.

As they emptied out their sacks, there in each man’s sack was the bag of money he had paid for the grain! The brothers and their father were terrified when they saw the bags of money.
“I am Joseph, your brother, whom you sold into slavery in Egypt. 5But don’t be upset, and don’t be angry with yourselves for selling me to this place. It was God who sent me here ahead of you to preserve your lives.
So it was God who sent me here, not you!
Lord God my Father,
Your plan confuses me when I try to understand this moment. Lord God, help me to surrender my desire to understand and allow your understanding to rest on me when you are ready. Today’s struggles are tomorrows Glory.

“Can we find anyone else like this man so obviously filled with the spirit of God?”
Lord God my Father,
I want your suggestions to rest well on me, bring a single minded desire to me to only walk with you today.
