Whoever fears God will avoid all extremes.

God created mankind upright, but they have gone in search of many schemes.”

Even if the wise claim they know, they cannot really comprehend it.

Always be clothed in white, and always anoint your head with oil. 

Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. 14For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.

Lord God my Father,

Keep me in your stillness, help me to see the peace below the surface. I don’t need to understand, just trust in your plan. Protect me from the darkness that lurks and allow your way to rest comfortably within me.

For with much wisdom comes much sorrow; the more knowledge, the more grief.

“For whom am I toiling,” he asked, “and why am I depriving myself of enjoyment?” This too is meaningless— a miserable business!

Moreover, when God gives someone wealth and possessions, and the ability to enjoy them, to accept their lot and be happy in their toil—this is a gift of God. 20They seldom reflect on the days of their life, because God keeps them occupied with gladness of heart.

The more the words, the less the meaning,

Lord God my Father,

Lord God, your design is perfect and my desire to understand keeps me from understanding. Help me find the Peace you designed for me so I may allow your understanding to rest on me. Bring your delightful desire to rest in me and keep me at Peace with today’s struggles. Show me how to experience your delight in all situations and not allow negativity to darken my spirit.

The rich are wise in their own eyes; one who is poor and discerning sees how deluded they are.

By justice a king gives a country stability, but those who are greedy for bribes tear it down.

Fools give full vent to their rage, but the wise bring calm in the end.

The righteous detest the dishonest; the wicked detest the upright.

Lord God my Father,

Give me your wisdom in every situation before me today. Be my discernment and help me to capture my thoughts that honor you and place boundaries to all other. Keep me in your stillness and show me how to protect it.

Like a muddied spring or a polluted well are the righteous who give way to the wicked.

It is not good to eat too much honey, nor is it honorable to search out matters that are too deep.

A lying tongue hates those it hurts, and a flattering mouth works ruin.

Lord God my Father,

Protect my heart and thoughts, keep me from straying towards darkness. Help me to be reasonable with myself and not allow anything other than Peace to rest well with me. You are in control of all things, I don’t need to understand your plan, just follow your lead.

May the Lord bless you from Zion, he who is the Maker of heaven and earth.

Let them praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is exalted; his splendor is above the earth and the heavens.

For the Lord takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

Praise the Lord.

Lord God my Father,

I praise you for you made all thing and rule over all. Your delight is greater than all creation. Keep me close and in heart felt connection with you in all things. and let all I do bring you praise.

Teach them the right way to live, and send rain on the land you gave your people for an inheritance.

then from heaven, your dwelling place, hear their prayer and their pleas, and uphold their cause. And forgive your people, who have sinned against you.

“He is good; his love endures forever.”

if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

His love endures forever.

Lord God my Father,

Teach me your way and keep me from straying off. Make my desire align with yours. You are all things good and I desire you. Forgive me of my sin and harden my heart against my sin nature.

“Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, who with his own hand has fulfilled what he promised with his own mouth to my father David. 

Judge between your servants, condemning the guilty by bringing down on their heads what they have done, and vindicating the innocent by treating them in accordance with their innocence.

Forgive and act; deal with everyone according to all they do, since you know their hearts (for you alone know every human heart), 40so that they will fear you all the time they live in the land you gave our ancestors.

Lord God my Father,

Your plan is perfect and Glory shines from you. Bless and give me wisdom on how to think and act. Help me to do your will above all else. Forgive me when I put my desires first and bless the actions of my hands.

“May your eyes be open to your servant’s plea and to the plea of your people Israel, and may you listen to them whenever they cry out to you.

Lord God my Father,

You are creator and sustainer; you are the beginning and ending. The fact that you know me and bless me is beyond understanding. I praise you and want to in all things easy and hard. Thank you for the struggles that bring me closer to you.

The one who gets wisdom loves life; the one who cherishes understanding will soon prosper.

A sluggard buries his hand in the dish; he will not even bring it back to his mouth!

A person may think their own ways are right, but the Lord weighs the heart.

Lord God my Father,

Lord God, I cry out to you for your wisdom, your way. Keep me from filtering you through my desires. Help me to act on your desire above my own and not hesitate. Only your way it right, help me to only know your way.

Better a dry crust with peace and quiet than a house full of feasting, with strife.

The one who has knowledge uses words with restraint, and whoever has understanding is even-tempered.

To answer before listening— that is folly and shame.

Lord God my Father,

Bring Peace to all relationships in my life, help me to love louder than the hate and represent you well in all areas of my thoughts and actions. Allow your understanding to be known to me and give me discernment over all other. Help me to hear you.
