Huram was extremely skillful and talented in any work in bronze, and he came to do all the metal work for King Solomon.

Huram-abi made all these things of burnished bronze for the Temple of the Lord,

Lord God my Father,

Use the skills you gave me to do work for your Glory. Remove any hesitation I may have and keep me on your task.

Give me an understanding heart so that I can govern your people well and know the difference between right and wrong. For who by himself is able to govern this great people of yours?”

And if you follow me and obey my decrees and my commands as your father, David, did, I will give you a long life.”

God said to Solomon, “Because your greatest desire is to help your people, and you did not ask for wealth, riches, fame, or even the death of your enemies or a long life, but rather you asked for wisdom and knowledge to properly govern my people—12I will certainly give you the wisdom and knowledge you requested.

Lord God my Father,

Give me your understanding for the struggles of this world, Help me to lift them to your glory trusting in your plan. Help me to pass your blessing on to others properly.

Pour out your wrath on the nations that refuse to acknowledge you—on kingdoms that do not call upon your name.

O Lord, pay back our neighbors seven times for the scorn they have hurled at you. Then we your people, the sheep of your pasture,will thank you forever and ever,praising your greatness from generation to generation.

Turn us again to yourself, O God.Make your face shine down upon us.Only then will we be saved.

But now, why have you broken down our wallsso that all who pass by may steal our fruit?

Give me what I am due, Forgive me for my past, Create in me your plan so I may bring you Glory.

Human defiance only enhances your glory,for you use it as a weapon

O my people, listen to my instructions.Open your ears to what I am saying,2for I will speak to you in a parable.I will teach you hidden lessons from our past—3stories we have heard and known,stories our ancestors handed down to us.4We will not hide these truths from our children;

Remove my nature, I am sinful and seek your peace. Open my spirit to your authority.

The Lord is close to all who call on him,yes, to all who call on him in truth. He grants the desires of those who fear him;he hears their cries for help and rescues them.

It pleases you to make us strong. Yes, our protection comes from the Lord,

Lord God my Father,

I am yours yet I struggle with my nature, Take my way from me and place your way in me. Help me to live the life you desire for me. Purify me and make me whole in your image.

I don’t concern myself with matters too greator too awesome for me to grasp. Instead, I have calmed and quieted myself,

Search me, O God, and know my heart;test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you,and lead me along the path of everlasting life.

Lord God my Father,

Grant me your direction in my thoughts so I can live as you created me to. Know my heart and guide me to your peace and make me aware when I allow distraction from this world.

I am so lost on my own, lead me thru the recovery process of my past to a present filled with your Truth alone. May your peace rest well with me this day.

My only hope is in you. Rescue me from my rebellion.

Please, Lord, rescue me!Come quickly, Lord, and help me. May those who try to destroy me be humiliated and put to shame.

Give your burdens to the Lord,and he will take care of you.He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.

The godly will rejoice when they see injustice avenged.

You are my peace and hope, You restore me to your design. You carry my load as I keep my eyes on you.

Give me loving discernment of your Truth, protect me from this place.

Finally, I confessed all my sins to youand stopped trying to hide my guilt.I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.”And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.

I do so crave your peace, continue to shape me and protect me from the deceiver.
