Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end. 12So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can. 13And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labor, for these are gifts from God.

And I know that whatever God does is final. Nothing can be added to it or taken from it. God’s purpose is that people should fear him. 15What is happening now has happened before, and what will happen in the future has happened before, because God makes the same things happen over and over again.

Lord God my Father,

Without you this life is meaningless. Be with me and help me to shift my peace completely to your desire. My peace depends on my faith, and my faith needs your constant attention.

Solomon built such shrines for all his foreign wives to use for burning incense and sacrificing to their gods.9The Lord was very angry with Solomon, for his heart had turned away from the Lord

Keep me focused on your desire so the great deceiver will not have influence on me.

False weights and unequal measures the Lord detests double standards of every kind.

If you love sleep, you will end in poverty.Keep your eyes open, and there will be plenty to eat!

Don’t say, “I will get even for this wrong.”Wait for the Lord to handle the matter.23The Lord detests double standards;he is not pleased by dishonest scales.

O my son, give me your heart.May your eyes take delight in following my ways.

Lord God my Father,

Keep me in your truth, motivate me to do your will, keep me in your peace. Use me to bring your peace to others.

A cheerful heart is good medicine,but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.

Even fools are thought wise when they keep silent;with their mouths shut, they seem intelligent.

Lazy people take food in their handbut don’t even lift it to their mouth.

Lord God my Father,

May I only delight in your presence as I face my struggles bringing Glory to you. Keep my mouth shut with my own opinion so your opinion it the only thing I shine. Make me diligent in your work.

Work brings profit,but mere talk leads to poverty!

A peaceful heart leads to a healthy body;jealousy is like cancer in the bones.

Godliness makes a nation great,but sin is a disgrace to any people.

A bowl of vegetables with someone you love is better than steak with someone you hate.

The Lord detests evil plans,but he delights in pure words.

Lord God my Father,

Thank you for your will, help me to only follow it this day, May we delight with each other this day for your Glory alone.

For the Lord grants wisdom!From his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest.

Lord God my Father,

Continue to reveal your truth in my life so I may get out of your way. May we delight with each other this day.

God gave Solomon very great wisdom and understanding, and knowledge as vast as the sands of the seashore.

Unless the Lord builds a house,the work of the builders is wasted.

It is useless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night,anxiously working for food to eat;for God gives rest to his loved ones.

Lord God my Father,

I don’t know anything, your wisdom is all I need. I need you to do your work thru me and restore me to who you created me to be.

 Solomon sent the people home. They were all joyful and glad because the Lord had been so good to David and to Solomon and to his people Israel.

Praise the Lord your God, who delights in you and has placed you on the throne as king to rule for him. 

Lord God my Father,

Be good to me and use me for your purpose, remove my way for it gets in the way in doing your will.

“Praise the Lord, the God of Israel, 

Give your people what their actions deserve, for you alone know each human heart. 

If they turn to you with their whole heart and soul in the land of their captivity and pray toward the land you gave to their ancestors—toward this city you have chosen, and toward this Temple I have built to honor your name—39then hear their prayers and their petitions from heaven where you live, and uphold their cause. Forgive your people who have sinned against you.

Lord God my Father,

I give you praise because that’s all my heart can do for you, Thank you for being constant in my confused life and delivering me to your peace. I only want to do your will now and forever. Thank you for allowing me to live to the point of this understanding. May I delight you this day that you gave me.

Huram was extremely skillful and talented in any work in bronze, and he came to do all the metal work for King Solomon.

Huram-abi made all these things of burnished bronze for the Temple of the Lord,

Lord God my Father,

Use the skills you gave me to do work for your Glory. Remove any hesitation I may have and keep me on your task.
