And Nehemiah8:10 Hebrew he. continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!”11And the Levites, too, quieted the people, telling them, “Hush! Don’t weep! For this is a sacred day.” 12So the people went away to eat and drink at a festive meal, to share gifts of food, and to celebrate with great joy because they had heard God’s words and understood them.

Lord God my Father,

Keep me in your truth and joy, help me to be in a constant state of celebration about your awesome love.

At last the wall was completed to half its height around the entire city, for the people had worked with enthusiasm.

When you hear the blast of the trumpet, rush to wherever it is sounding. Then our God will fight for us!”

I also devoted myself to working on the wall and refused to acquire any land. And I required all my servants to spend time working on the wall. 17I asked for nothing, even though I regularly fed 150 Jewish officials at my table, besides all the visitors from other lands! 18The provisions I paid for each day included one ox, six choice sheep or goats, and a large number of poultry. And every ten days we needed a large supply of all kinds of wine. Yet I refused to claim the governor’s food allowance because the people already carried a heavy burden.19Remember, O my God, all that I have done for these people, and bless me for it.

Lord God my Father,

Give me enthusiasm to do your work this day, direct my actions so I may see your potential work thru me, keep me on guard of the enemy.

O Lord, please hear my prayer! Listen to the prayers of those of us who delight in honoring you. Please grant me success today 

Lord God my Father,

Grant me your desire and keep me on your path for this day’s efforts.

The king instructed him to return the cups to their place in Jerusalem and to rebuild the Temple of God there on its original site.

“Your ancestors refused to listen to this message. They stubbornly turned away and put their fingers in their ears to keep from hearing. 12They made their hearts as hard as stone, so they could not hear the instructions or the messages that the Lord of Heaven’s Armies had sent them by his Spirit through the earlier prophets. 

But this is what you must do: Tell the truth to each other. Render verdicts in your courts that are just and that lead to peace. 17Don’t scheme against each other. Stop your love of telling lies that you swear are the truth. I hate all these things, says the Lord.”

 ‘Come with us to Jerusalem to ask the Lord to bless us. Let’s worship the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. I’m determined to go.’

Lord God my Father,

Be with me and give me strength and determination to do your work without hesitation. May your glory come from my actions.

In Jesus name I pray,

And remember that the heavenly Father to whom you pray has no favorites. He will judge or reward you according to what you do. So you must live in reverent fear of him during your time here as “temporary residents.” 18For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors.

Then he said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer. But for twenty-one days the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the archangels, came to help me, and I left him there with the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia.

Soon I must return to fight against the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia, and after that the spirit prince of the kingdom of Greece

So the Lord sparked the enthusiasm of Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the enthusiasm of Jeshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the enthusiasm of the whole remnant of God’s people. They began to work on the house of their God, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, 15on September 21

Lord God my Father,

You are with me, remove any doubt in what you can do thru me. Keep me focused on rebuilding your temple.

Because of Daniel’s great ability, the king made plans to place him over the entire empire.4Then the other administrators and high officers began searching for some fault in the way Daniel was handling government affairs, but they couldn’t find anything to criticize or condemn. He was faithful, always responsible, and completely trustworthy.

So at last the king gave orders for Daniel to be arrested and thrown into the den of lions. The king said to him, “May your God, whom you serve so faithfully, rescue you.”

Then the king gave orders to arrest the men who had maliciously accused Daniel. He had them thrown into the lions’ den, along with their wives and children. The lions leaped on them and tore them apart before they even hit the floor of the den.

“Daniel, I have come here to give you insight and understanding. 23The moment you began praying, a command was given. And now I am here to tell you what it was, for you are very precious to God. Listen carefully so that you can understand the meaning of your vision.

Lord God my Father,

Use me for your glory, help me to be obedient to your desire not mine. Allow me to glorify you in all things.

In Jesus name I pray,

Even during this time of trouble, King Ahaz continued to reject the Lord. 23He offered sacrifices to the gods of Damascus who had defeated him, for he said, “Since these gods helped the kings of Aram, they will help me, too, if I sacrifice to them.” But instead, they led to his ruin and the ruin of all Judah.

Lord God my Father,

Keep the compromise of the world from reaching my spirit and be we me to remove any remaining in me to be identified and removed. I wish to be completely in your Truth to experience your Peace.

In Jesus name I pray,

But after Xerxes’ anger had subsided, he began thinking about Vashti and what she had done and the decree he had made.

And then, though it is against the law, I will go in to see the king. If I must die, I must die.”

Lord God my Father,

Be with me and keep my emotions under your care, remove my struggle to do your job for you from my desire. Give me courage to do this life as you desire me to.

In Jesus name I pray,

 And the priests themselves must obey my instructions and decrees at all the sacred festivals, and see to it that the Sabbaths are set apart as holy days.

Lord God my father,

Soften my heart so I may be willing to follow you completely.

And now get to work, for I am with you, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

 ‘This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Return to me, and I will return to you, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.’ 

The Accuser, Satan, was there at the angel’s right hand, making accusations against Jeshua. And the Lord said to Satan, “I, the Lord, reject your accusations, Satan.

Lorn God my Father,

Keep me in your desire, keep me from mine. Restore me to your design and keep me in your action this day. Separate me from Satan’s influence.
