“Lord,” they said, “we want to see!” 34Jesus felt sorry for them and touched their eyes. Instantly they could see! Then they followed him.

And Jesus said to him, “Go, for your faith has healed you.” Instantly the man could see, and he followed Jesus down the road.

‘Yes,’ the king replied, ‘and to those who use well what they are given, even more will be given. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away. 27And as for these enemies of mine who didn’t want me to be their king—bring them in and execute them right here in front of me.’”

Lord God my Father,

I want to see, open my eyes to your path I overlook and increase my faith. Help me to multiply your blessing and remove the enemy from my presence.

“Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. 17I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.”

 “Only God is truly good. 19But to answer your question, you know the commandments: ‘You must not murder. You must not commit adultery. You must not steal. You must not testify falsely. You must not cheat anyone. Honor your father and mother.’

Lord God my Father,

Keep my mind simple, help me to allow you to do all the thinking, protect me from the influence of darkness, allow you goodness to direct me this day.

 “This happened so the power of God could be seen in him.

So for the second time they called in the man who had been blind and told him, “God should get the glory for this,9:24 Or Give glory to God, not to Jesus; Greek reads Give glory to God. because we know this man Jesus is a sinner.”25“I don’t know whether he is a sinner,” the man replied. “But I know this: I was blind, and now I can see!”

“I entered this world to render judgment—to give sight to the blind and to show those who think they see that they are blind.”

“The rich man had to admire the dishonest rascal for being so shrewd. And it is true that the children of this world are more shrewd in dealing with the world around them than are the children of the light. 

Lord God my Father,

Open my heart to allow your plan to move forward without my interruption. It is for your Glory I want to act.

The beautiful part in this ugly story is that David didn’t get defensive at Nathan’s rebuke. He didn’t make excuses, nor did he act like it wasn’t a big deal. Nathan brought the sin to David’s awareness, he recognized his sin, and he repented before his God. 

Lord God my Father,

Give me a heart of gratitude and desire to have your instruction rest on me.

“Any kingdom divided by civil war is doomed. A family splintered by feuding will fall apart.

“But even more blessed are all who hear the word of God and put it into practice.”

As Jesus was leaving, the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees became hostile and tried to provoke him with many questions. 54They wanted to trap him into saying something they could use against him.

Lord God my Father,

Bring your peace into my heart, help me to live in your truth and be your light.

Jesus continued, “You are from below; I am from above. You belong to this world; I do not. 

Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. 32And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

And yet some of you are trying to kill me because there’s no room in your hearts for my message.

Why can’t you understand what I am saying? It’s because you can’t even hear me!

For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45So when I tell the truth, you just naturally don’t believe me! 46Which of you can truthfully accuse me of sin? And since I am telling you the truth, why don’t you believe me? 47Anyone who belongs to God listens gladly to the words of God. But you don’t listen because you don’t belong to God.”

But don’t rejoice because evil spirits obey you; rejoice because your names are registered in heaven.”

“My Father has entrusted everything to me. No one truly knows the Son except the Father, and no one truly knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”

 he will get up and give you whatever you need because of your shameless persistence.

Lord God my Father,

I am yours, you are my desire. Allow your Truth to rest well with me and direct me in all areas, give me the understanding you wish for me and the power to follow it fully. I desperately want to hear you. Thank you for accepting me as I am and leading me to your plan.

Jesus replied, “Now is not the right time for me to go, but you can go anytime. 7The world can’t hate you, but it does hate me because I accuse it of doing evil.

“Is there a single one of us rulers or Pharisees who believes in him? This foolish crowd follows him, but they are ignorant of the law. 

Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”

 But he was not arrested, because his time had not yet come.

Lord God my Father,

Embrace my heart and lead me into your desire for this day, allow me to fully see your light and resist this world’s ways. Thank you for your comfort.

“What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.”24The father instantly cried out, “I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!”

Afterward, when Jesus was alone in the house with his disciples, they asked him, “Why couldn’t we cast out that evil spirit?”29Jesus replied, “This kind can be cast out only by prayer.

“Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf9:48 Greek in my name. welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me also welcomes my Father who sent me. Whoever is the least among you is the greatest.”

Lord God my Father,

Remove my doubt, create a faith that this world can’t be influenced by this world. Give power to my prayer and keep my desire in your path. Create a heart that is only on your will.

 “You are blessed, Simon son of John because my Father in heaven has revealed this to you. You did not learn this from any human being. 

 “Get away from me, Satan!” he said. “You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, not from God’s.”

And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?

But I tell you, Elijah has already come, but he wasn’t recognized, and they chose to abuse him. And in the same way they will also make the Son of Man suffer.”

They didn’t tell anyone at that time what they had seen.

Lord God my Father,

Allow me to witness as much of you as I am able to, Keep me free from Satan, Place your story on my heart and reveal your desire at the proper time, allow me to carry your patience.

 “First I should feed the children—my own family, the Jews.7:27 Greek Let the children eat first. It isn’t right to take food from the children and throw it to the dogs.”28She replied, “That’s true, Lord, but even the dogs under the table are allowed to eat the scraps from the children’s plates.”29“Good answer!” he said. “Now go home, for the demon has left your daughter.” 30And when she arrived home, she found her little girl lying quietly in bed, and the demon was gone.

Then he took the seven loaves and the fish, thanked God for them, and broke them into pieces. He gave them to the disciples, who distributed the food to the crowd.

Testing him, they demanded that he show them a miraculous sign from heaven to prove his authority.

Then at last they understood that he wasn’t speaking about the yeast in bread, but about the deceptive teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

Lord God my Father,

Open my eyes so I can see your plan and follow it, Open my heart to understand what your saying to me, give me power over my desire to understand and allow your will to flow thru me without my interference. Help me to allow you to have your way with me.
