“My people are foolish and do not know me,” says the Lord. “They are stupid children who have no understanding. They are clever enough at doing wrong, but they have no idea how to do right!”

This is what the Lord says: “Stop at the crossroads and look around. Ask for the old, godly way, and walk in it. Travel its path, and you will find rest for your souls. But you reply, ‘No, that’s not the road we want!’

Lord God my Father,

I am glad you know me better than I do, Lord God, move me out of my so-called wisdom and into your Truth, may your Peace guide me and your discernment keep me in your desire.

 Lord, there is no one like you! For you are great, and your name is full of power.7Who would not fear you, O King of nations? That title belongs to you alone!

Give glory to the Lord your God before it is too late. Acknowledge him before he brings darkness upon you, causing you to stumble and fall on the darkening mountains.

Lord God my Father,

You are the maker and ruler of everything. I cry out to you, please don’t abandon your people, expose the darkness and use those who love you to bring your light to each other. Don’t give up on us, protect us from the darkness.

When you came down long ago, you did awesome deeds beyond our highest expectations.

We are all infected and impure with sin. When we display our righteous deeds,they are nothing but filthy rags.

Listen, you foolish and senseless people, with eyes that do not see and ears that do not hear.22Have you no respect for me? Why don’t you tremble in my presence? I, the Lord, define the ocean’s sandy shoreline as an everlasting boundary that the waters cannot cross.

To whom can I give warning? Who will listen when I speak? Their ears are closed, and they cannot hear. They scorn the word of the Lord. They don’t want to listen at all.11So now I am filled with the Lord’s fury. Yes, I am tired of holding it in!

Lord God my Father,

Show your greatness and bring hope to the lost. Give me strength in the struggles so your peace remains intact in me. Protect me from nonsense and keep my heart close and confident in your plan, especially when I don’t understand it.

In Jesus name I pray,

Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near.7Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.

Lord God my Father,

Protect me from falling, make me an example of your goodness and give hope to others as well as myself. Have mercy on me.

“Look, I have put my words in your mouth!10Today I appoint you to stand upagainst nations and kingdoms.

I will bring you back to the land of Israel3:14 Hebrew to Zion. —one from this town and two from that family—from wherever you are scattered.15And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will guide you with knowledge and understanding.

I wanted nothing more than to give you this beautiful land—the finest possession in the world. I looked forward to your calling me ‘Father, ’and I wanted you never to turn from me.20But you have been unfaithful to me, you people of Israel! You have been like a faithless wife who leaves her husband. I, the Lord, have spoken.”

Lord God my Father,

Show me how to quiet my thoughts so I can hear you, direct my heart so it does your will. Help me to become ever mindful of your presence and release your integrity in me so I may delight with you this day.

In Jesus name I pray,

And I will destroy those who used to worship me but now no longer do. They no longer ask for the Lord’s guidance or seek my blessings.”

Seek the Lord, all who are humble, and follow his commands. Seek to do what is right and to live humbly.

For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears.3:17 Or He will be silent in his love. Greek and Syriac versions read He will renew you with his love. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”

Lord God my Father,

Keep my heart in your Glory, Keep my focus on your Truth. Give me discernment using your delight to guide me and your Joy to affirm my decisions.

Then the king instructed Hilkiah the high priest and the priests of the second rank and the Temple gatekeepers to remove from the Lord’s Temple all the articles that were used to worship Baal, Asherah, and all the powers of the heavens. The king had all these things burned outside Jerusalem on the terraces of the Kidron Valley, and he carried the ashes away to Bethel. 5He did away with the idolatrous priests, who had been appointed by the previous kings of Judah, for they had offered sacrifices at the pagan shrines throughout Judah and even in the vicinity of Jerusalem.

Lord God my Father,

Purify my heart and soul, give me power over my sin tendency and help me be restored to your design for me in my mind, soul and body.

The Sovereign Lord will show his justice to the nations of the world. Everyone will praise him! His righteousness will be like a garden in early spring, with plants springing up everywhere.

Lord, you would still be our Father. You are our Redeemer from ages past.17 Lord, why have you allowed us to turn from your path? Why have you given us stubborn hearts so we no longer fear you? Return and help us, for we are your servants, the tribes that are your special possession.

Lord God my father,

I praise you because it is natural to me, I submit to your desire and pray you will purify mine. Thank you for loving me and placing your grace on me. Only you are worthy.

Blessed are those who honor my Sabbath days of rest and keep themselves from doing wrong..

But whoever trusts in me will inherit the land and possess my holy mountain.”

Lord God my Father,

I want to honor you the way you wish without diluting it from my perspective. Quiet my thoughts so I can hear.

All the world will know that I, the Lord, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Israel.

Why was no one there when I came? Why didn’t anyone answer when I called?

Morning by morning he wakens me and opens my understanding to his will.5The Sovereign Lord has spoken to me, and I have listened. I have not rebelled or turned away.

Lord God my Father,

Purify my heart and draw me close. Make me your own and use me as you wish. Give me the courage to follow you wherever you lead me.
